< Jovu 35 >
1 Anante Elihu'a mago'ene amanage huno hu'ne,
Then Elihu also said this:
2 Jopuga Anumzamofo avurera fatgo hu'noema hunkama nehanana, kagrama antahinana tamage naneke nehue hunka nehampi?
“[Job, ] do you think that what you said is right/correct? You say, ‘God knows that I am innocent,’
3 Hagi kagra Jopuga Anumzamofonku hunka, nagrama kumi'ma osu mani'ne'nama fatgo navu'nava'ma hanuana, anampintira na'a knare'zana erigahue? hunka nehane.
and you say [to God], ‘What good have I received for not sinning? What benefit have I received from that?’ [DOU, RHQ]
4 Hanki menina Jopuga kenona hunegante'na ana maka 3'a roneka'a raminena, kenona huzamantegahue.
[Well, ] I will answer you, and I will answer your three friends, too.
5 Jopuga menina kesga hunka onagamu monare'ma me'nea hamporamina ko.
“[Job], look up at the sky; look at the clouds that are high above you and realize [that God is far above everything].
6 Hanki kagrama kumi'ma hanana zamo'a inankna huno Anumzamofona azeri havizana hugahie? Kagra kumira mago'ene huvava hunka vugahananagi, e'i ana zamo'enena azeri havizana osugahie.
If you have sinned, that does not [RHQ] harm God at all. If many times you do things that are wrong, that certainly does not [RHQ] affect him [DOU].
7 Kagrama mani fatgoma hunka manina zamo'a, magore huno Anumzamofona aza nehifi? Na'a mago knare'za Anumzamo'a kagripintira erigahie?
And if you are righteous, does that help God? No, he is not benefited by anything that you do [DOU].
8 Hanki kagrama hana hazenke zamo'a, vaheke'za zamazeri havizana nehuno, knare kavukva'zama hana zamo'a vaheke'za zamazeri so'ea nehie.
It is other people who suffer because of the wicked things that you do, but by doing good things for people, you help them.
9 Hankave'zami me'nea vahe'mo'zama vahe'ma zamazeri havizama nehazage'za, mago'a vahe'mo'zama eme zamazama hanagura zavi krafage nehaze.
“People cry out because of the many things that people do to others to (oppress them/treat them cruelly); they call for help because of the things that powerful people do [MTY] to them.
10 Hianagi mago'mo'a amanage hunora nosie, nagri'ma nazeri fore'ma hu'neno, hani zampima mani'nogeno'ma muse zagame'ma namige'nama nehua Anumzana iga manie?
But (no one/none of them) calls out [to God], saying ‘Why does God, my creator, [not help me]? He [should] enable me to sing [joyful] songs, [instead of very sad songs, ] during the night.
11 Anage nehuno afi zaga kafane, nama ramimofo antahi'zama rugatereno knare antahi'zama tami'nea Anumzana iga mani'ne hu'za nosaze?
He [should be able to] teach us more than all the wild animals do; he [should] enable us to become wiser than [all] the birds are!’
12 Ana'ma nehige'za Anumzamo taza hanie nehu'za zavi krafagea nehaze. Hianagi Anumzamo'a ke'zamia antahino nona hunozmante. Na'ankure zamagra zamavufaga erisga nehu'za, kumi nehaza vahe mani'naze.
People cry out [for help], but God does not answer them, because those who cry out are proud and evil people.
13 Hianagi zamunte omane vahe'mo'zama zavi krafagema nehaza zankura Hankavenentake Anumzamo'a antahi nozamie hu'zama nehazana havige nehaze.
It is useless for them to cry out, because God, the Almighty One, does not pay any attention to what they say.
14 Hanki kagra Jopuga ko'ma hunka, Anumzamofona onkegahue nehunka, Agrake'za eno nagrama hu'nesua kefo zantera mizana eme namigahie hunka avega antenka mani'nananagi, Anumzamo'a ana keka'a antahiogami'ne.
So, when you complain that you cannot see God, and you tell him that you are waiting for him [to decide whether or not you should be punished for what you have done], God will not listen to you, either!
15 Hagi kumi'ma nehaza vahera Anumzamo'a arimpa ahezamanteno zamazeri haviza nosie hunka nehunka, kefo zamavu zamava'ma nehaza zankura agesa nontahie hunka hu'nane.
Furthermore, [you say that] because he does not pay attention when people commit sins, he does not become angry and punish them.
16 Hianagi Jopugama hana nanekea amunte omane naneke nehunka, kagesa ontahi negi vahe'mo'zama nehazankna naneke hunka eri hakare nehane.
You say things that are useless; you say a lot of things without knowing [what you are talking about].”
