1 Hagi anante Jopu'a kenona amanage hu'ne,
Then Job replied,
2 Kagesa ante so'e hu'nenka nagrama hanuankea antahio. Hagi kagesama antenka antahi'nana zamo nagrira naza hugahie.
“Listen to what I say, all [three] of you; that is the only thing that you can do that will comfort me.
3 Akohenka mani'nenka nagrama hanua nanekea antahitenka, henka kagra kiza zokago kea hunantegahane.
Be patient with me, and allow me to speak. Then, after I am finished speaking, you can continue to make fun of me.
4 Nagra Anumzamofontega narimpa haviza hu'zana eri ama nehuanki, vahetega narimpa haviza hu'zana eri ama nosue. E'i ana agafare narimpa fru hu'na nomanue.
“It is certainly not [RHQ] people against whom I am complaining, [but God] And it is certainly [RHQ] right for me to be impatient!
5 Hanki nagrira nenageta antri huta tamazana tamagipi anteta anikafriho.
Look at me! Does what you see not cause you to be appalled and to put your hands over your mouths [and say no more]?
6 Hagi kema huankemofo nagesa nentahi'na tusi koro nehugeno, nahirahi nere.
When I think about [what has happened to me], I am frightened and my entire body shakes.
7 Nagafare kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'mo'za maka zampina knarera nehu'za, mani'za vu'za ozafa omere'za himamu'ane vahera maniza feno vahera nemanize?
“[But let me ask this: ] ‘Why do wicked people continue to live, and become prosperous, and not die until they are very old?’
8 Zamagra ana mani'ne'za negazageno mofavrezmimo'za ra hu'za nomani'zana trohu'za nemanize. Ana nehu'za mofavrea kasentazageno kase anante anantera hu'za nevaze.
They have their children around them, and they watch them while they [grow up and] start to live in their own houses, and they enjoy their grandchildren.
9 Hagi ana vahe'mo'za nonkumazmifima mani'zana mago'zankura korora osu nemanizageno, Anumzamo'enena knazana nozmige'za, knare hu'za nemanize.
Wicked people live in their own houses without being afraid, and God does not punish [MTY] them.
10 Hanki ve bulimakao afuzmimo'a mofavrea eri fore huvava nehigeno, a' bulimakao afutamimo'za anentara kase kuntrara nosaze.
Their bulls always mate with the cows successfully, and the cows give birth to calves and never miscarry.
11 Hanki mofavrezmimo'za sipisipi afumo'za kevure kevure vanoma nehazaza hu'za magopi kiza zokagora hu'za nemanizageno, neonse mofavreramimo'za musenkasea hu'za avoa hage'za vano nehaze.
Wicked people send their young children outside [to play], and the children play [happily] like [SIM] lambs [in a pasture].
12 Zamagra tambarini nehe'za hapue nehaza zavenane nehe'za zagamera nehaze. Ana nehu'za konkena nere'za, musenkasena hu'naze.
Some children dance and sing, while others shake tambourines and play lyres, and they are happy when they hear people playing flutes.
Wicked people enjoy having good things all the time that they are alive, and they die quietly/peacefully and go down to the place of the dead. (Sheol h7585)
14 Hagi havi avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'mo'za Anumzamofonkura amanage hu'za nehaze, Kagri kavukva'ma huzankura, tavesra nehianki tatrenka vuo hu'za nehaze.
While they are alive, they say to God, ‘Do not bother us; we do not want to know how you want us to conduct our lives!
15 Marerirfa Anumza nera Agra iza mani'nenigeta ke'a antahigahune. Hanki Agritegama nunumuma hanunana, Agra na'a knare zana hurantegahie?
Why do you, Almighty God, think that we should serve you? (What advantage do we get if we pray to you?/It is useless for us to pray to you.) [RHQ]’
16 Hagi zamagrama antahi'zana tagra'a hankavere maka zana nehune hu'za zamagesa nentahize. Hianagi e'inahu antahintahima havi vahe'mo'zama namiza antahi'zana amagera onte'na, afete manigahue.
Think about it: Wicked people think that it is because of what they have done that they have become prosperous, but I do not understand why they think like that.
17 Hagi kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahera Anumzamo'a ame hunora zamahe ofri zamatrege'za mani'ne'za ozafare'za nefrize. Hagi zamagra mago hazenke e'ori amne nemanize. Hanki Anumzamo'a ana kefo vahe'mokizmigura arimpa ahezmanteno knazana nozamie.
(“How often does it happen that wicked people die [MET] before they are old?/Very seldom do wicked people die [MET] before they are old.) [RHQ] (Do they ever experience disasters?/They seldom experience disasters.) [RHQ] (Does God ever punish them because of being very angry with them?/God never punishes them because of being very angry with them.) [RHQ]
18 Hagi zamagrira zaho'mo'ma hagage tra'zama erianknara huge, hanave zahomo witi hona eri hareno vianknara nosio?
[He does not blow] them away like wind blows away straw; they are never carried off by a whirlwind.
19 Hagi tamagra huta, Anumzamo kumima nehaza vahe'mokizmi mofavreramina knazana zamigahie huta nehaze. Hianagi nagrama nehuana kumi'ma hu'ne'nia vahe knazana Anumzamo zami'nige'za fatgoma huno refkoma hania zana antahi ani hanaze hu'na nentahue.
You say, ‘When people have committed sins, God waits and punishes their children because of those sins;’ but [I say that] God should punish those who sin, [not their children, ] in order that the sinners will know [that it is because of their own sins that they are being punished].
20 Ana vahetamina zamatrenke'za Hihamu'ane Anumzamo'ma zamazeri havizama hania zana zamagra zamavufinti nege'za, arimpama ahezmantenia zana zamagra zamavate keho.
I hope/wish that wicked people will experience themselves being destroyed, that they will experience being punished by an angry Almighty God.
21 Na'ankure zamagrama fri'zama vanu'za, naga'zmire'ma fore'ma hania zankura zamagesa ontahigahaze.
After wicked people are dead, they are not at all concerned [RHQ] about what happens to their families [MTY].
22 Hianagi mago vahe'mo'a Anumzamofona rempi humigara osu'ne. Na'ankure Agra marerirfa vahe'enena refko hunezmante.
“Since God judges [everyone, ] even those that are in heaven, (who can teach God anything?/certainly no one can teach God anything.) [RHQ]
23 Hanki mago'a vahe'mo'za miko zama nehaza zamo'a knare nehige'za muse hu'za mani'neza nefrize.
Some people die while they are very healthy, while they are peaceful, when they are not afraid of anything.
24 Hagi mago'a vahe'mofona zamavufagamo'a knare hige'za hankave vahe mani'ne'za nefrize.
Their bodies are fat; their bones are strong.
25 Hagi mago'a vahera zamunte omanege'za nomani'za zmimo'a amuho hige'za knare osu nomani'zampi mani'ne'za nefrize.
Other people die being very miserable; they have never experienced good things happening to them.
26 Hianagi knare nomani'zampima mani'neno fria vahe'ene, amunte omne nomani'zante'ma mani'neno fria vahe'enena mago zahu huno mopafi asezmantegeno hagirafamo zamavufaga nene.
But both rich and poor people die and are buried, and maggots eat their bodies. [Everyone dies, so it is clear that dying is not always the punishment for being wicked].
27 Hanki kagrama nentahina antahintahia nagra antahi'noe. Nagri'ma nazeri haviza hunaku'ma oku'ama retro'ma nehana antahintahia nagra antahi'noe.
“Listen, I know what you [three] are thinking. I know the evil things that you plan to do to me.
28 Na'ankure kagra hunka, inantega ugagota kva vahe'mofo nona me'ne hunka nehunka, inantega kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'ma nemaniza seli nona me'ne? hunka nehane.
You say, ‘What happened to the tents in which wicked people were living? The houses of evil rulers have been destroyed!’
29 Hianagi karankama vanoma nehaza vahe zamantahigege'za tamage nanekea kasamiho.
But have you never inquired of people who travel much? Do you not believe their reports about what they have seen,
30 Kefo zamavu'zmava'ma nehaza veamo'za hazenke zama ne-ege'za hazenkea e'norizanki amne nemanize.
that wicked people usually do not suffer at the time when there are great disasters; that wicked people are the ones who are rescued when God is angry [and punishes people] [MTY]?
31 Hagi mago vahe'mo'a amatera huhaviza huzmanteno havi avu'ava'zama nehaza zantera nona hunozmante.
There is no one [RHQ] who accuses wicked people, and there is no one who (pays them back/gives them the punishment that they deserve) for all the evil things that they have done.
32 Hagi ana vahe'ma frizage'zama eri'za ome asezmantage'za sondia vahe'mo'za matimati zamirera kegava hute'za nemanize.
The corpses of wicked people are carried to their graves, and people are put there to guard those graves.
33 Hagi ana vahe'ma asentenaku'ma eri'za nevazageno'a, tusi'a vahekrerfamo'za zamavariri'za matitega nevaze. Rama'a vahe'mo'za antahinemi'za negazageno vogisi'amo'a kerifina uneramigeno, mopa ragana atrazageno uneramie.
A huge number [HYP] of people go to the grave site. Some go in front of the procession and some come behind. And the clods of dirt thrown on the graves of those wicked people who have died are like a nice blanket.
34 Hanki inankna huno kagesama ontahi kema nehana kemo'a naza huno nazeri knarera hugahie? Mika nanekema hana kemo'a amnezankna hie!
“So how can you console me by talking nonsense? Every reply that you make is full of lies!”
