1 Hanki Moapu mopama havizama hania zankura Anumzamo'a amanahu naneke nasami'ne, ha' vahe'mo'za mago kenage e'za Moapu mopafima me'nea Ari ran kuma'ene Kiri rankumatrena eri haviza hazageno, Moapu mopamo'a havizantfa hu'ne.
[I received] this message [from Yahweh] about the Moab [people-group]: In one night [two of your important cities], Ar and Kir, will be destroyed.
2 Ana maka Diboni rankumapima nemaniza vahe'mo'za, havi anumzante'ma mono'ma hunentaza noma me'nea agonarega mareri'za zavi krafa hu'naze. Moapu vahe'mo'za Nebo rankumaku'ene Medeba rankumakura zamasunku hu'za zavira nete'za, zamagi zamazoka'ene zamaseni zamazokara vazagate tre'naze.
The people of Dibon, [your capital city, ] will go to their temple to mourn/weep; they will go to [their shrines] on the hilltops to weep. They will wail because of [what happened to] Nebo and Medeba [towns in the south]; they will all shave the hair of their heads, and the men will cut off their beards [to show that they are grieving].
3 Kumamofo ne'onse kampina zamasunku kukena hu'za vano hu'naze. Nozami agofetu nemani'za atruma hu'za nemaniza kumatamimpina tusi zavi krafa nehazageno, zamavunumo'a tusiza hu'ne.
In the streets people will wear rough sackcloth, and on their [flat] rooftops and in the [city] plazas everyone will wail, with tears streaming down their faces.
4 Hesboni ran kumateti'ene Eleale rankumateti'ma zavi krafama haza agasasankea ogantu Jahasi rankumate vahe'mo'za antahi'naze. E'inama hiazanku Moapu hankave sondia vahe'mo'za zamahirahiku nehu'za hanavezamia omnege'za, tusi zavi krafa hu'naze.
[The people of] Heshbon [city] and Elealeh [towns in the north of Moab] will cry out; people as far away as Jahaz [town in the south] will hear them wailing. Therefore the soldiers of Moab will tremble and cry out and they will be very afraid [IDM].
5 Nagra Moapu vahekura nagu'areti hu'na tusi zavi ate'noe. Na'ankure vahe'mo'za mopazamia atre'za koro fre'za, Zoari ran kuma'ene Eglat-Silisia ran kumate vu'naze. Luhiti ran kuma'ma me'nea karanka mareneri'za zavira nete'za vu'naze. Horonaimi ran kuma'ma me'nea karankanema nevu'za, kuma'ma havizama hiazankura tusi zavi krafage hu'za vu'naze.
I feel very sorry for [the people of] Moab; they will flee to Zoar and Eglath-Shelishiyah [towns in the far south]. They will cry as they walk up to Luhith [town]. All along the road to Horonaim [town] people will mourn because their country has been destroyed.
6 Nimrimi tintamina tanageno, tinkenaregama me'nea trazamo'enena hagege hu'ne. Ana higeno anampina trazamo'ene zafamo'enena hagege higeno, kasefa huno zafaninage zana omnene.
The water in Nimrim [Valley] will have dried up. The grass there will be withered; the green plants will [all] be gone, and there will be nothing left that is green.
7 E'ina hu'negu Moapu vahe'mo'za feno zazamima eri truma hu'nazana eri'za, ana zantamine korora fre'za, zafamoke'ma hu'nea tinkagomupinti rukatagi'za Moapu mopa atre'za vu'naze.
The people will pick up their possessions and carry them across Willows Brook.
8 Moapu mopafinti'ma zavi krafama nehaza agasasamo'a, Moapu mopama ome atre'nea atumpare me'na'a kumatre, Eglaimi rankuma'ene Be-elim rankumate vige'za antahi'naze.
Throughout the country of Moab, [people] will be crying; people as far away as Eglaim [in the south] and Beer-Elim [in the north] will hear them wailing.
9 Na'ankure Dimoni timpina koramo aviteno e'ne. Hianagi Ra Anumzamo'a huno, mago'ene Moapu vahera zamazeri haviza hugahue nehuno, laioni hunta'nena vuno koro'ma fre'za vanaza Moapu vahe'ene Moapuma osi'ama mani'naza vahera zamaheno tagnavazino negahie.
The stream near Dimon will become red from the blood [of people who have been killed], but I will cause the people of Moab to experience even more [trouble]: Lions will attack those who [are trying to] escape from Moab and will [also] attack the people who remain in that country.
