1 Hanki ama ana zantamima fore hutegeno henka mago'a kna evutegeno, Artserksisi'ma Pesia kinima mani'nea knafina, Ezra'a Babilonia atreno Jerusalemia mareri'ne. Ezra nefa'a Seraia'e. Seraia nefa'a Azaria'e, Azaria nefa'a Hilkia'e.
Now after these things, when Artaxerxes was king of Persia, Ezra, the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,
2 Hanki Hilkia nefa'a Salumu'e, Salumu nefa'a Zadoku'e, Zadoku nefa'a Ahitubu'e.
The son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub,
3 Hagi Ahitubu nefa'a Amaria'e, Amaria nefa'a Azaria'e, Azaria nefa'a Meraioti'e,
The son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,
4 Meraioti nefa'a Zeraia'e, Zerai'a nefa'a Uzi'e, Uzi nefa'a Buki'e,
The son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki,
5 Buki nefa'a Abisua'e, Abisua nefa'a Finiasi'e, Finiasi nefa'a Eleazari'e, Eleazari nefa'a ugagota pristi ne' Aroni mani'ne.
The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest:
6 Hagi Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mokizmi Ra Anumzamo'ma Mosese'ma amigeno Israeli vahe'ma zami'nea kasegea Ezra'a antahi ankere'neno, rempi hunezamia nekino, Babilonia atreno Jerusalemi mareri'ne. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a agrane mani'negeno'e.
This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a scribe, expert in the law of Moses which the Lord, the God of Israel, had given: and the king, moved by the Lord his God, gave him whatever he made request for.
7 Hanki kini ne' Artaserksisi'ma kinima manino egeno 7nima hia kafufina, Ezra'ene mago'a Israeli vahe'ene, pristi vahe'ene Livae naga'ene, zagame'ma nehaza vahe'ene, ra mono no kafante'ma kvahu vahe'ene, ra mono nompi eri'za vahe'mo'zanena Ezra'ene Babilonia atre'za Jerusalemi mareri'naze.
And some of the children of Israel went up, with some of the priests and the Levites and the music-makers and the door-keepers and the Nethinim, to Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.
8 Hanki Artaserksisi'ma kinima mani'no egeno 7nima hia kafumofona 5fuma hia ikantera Ezra'a Jerusalemia ehanati'ne.
And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, in the seventh year of the king's rule.
9 Ezra'ma Babiloni kuma'ma atre'neana, ese ikamofona ese zupa atreno, Jerusalemi kumatera 5fu ikamofona ese zupa ehanati'ne. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a agrane mani'neno knare hunte'negu huno anara hu'ne.
For, starting his journey from Babylon on the first day of the first month, he came to Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month, by the good help of his God.
10 Ezra'a maka knafina agu'areti huno Ra Anumzamofona kasegea rempi huno nentahino, ana kasegea agu'areti huno amage ante'ne. Ana nehuno Israeli vahera ana kasegene tra kenena rempi huzami'ne.
For Ezra had given his mind to learning the law of the Lord and doing it, and to teaching his rules and decisions in Israel.
11 Hagi Israeli vahe Ra Anumzamofo kasegene tra kenena, Ezra'a pristi ne' mani'neno, Israeli vahera rempi hunezamia ne' mani'neankino, kini ne' Artaseksisima huvempama huno mago avoma kreno Ezrama ami'nea avomo'a amanage hu'ne.
Now this is a copy of the letter which King Artaxerxes gave to Ezra, the priest and the scribe, who put into writing the words of the orders of the Lord, and of his rules for Israel:
12 Nagra hakare'a kuma'ma kvama hu'noa kini ne' Artaserksisi'na ama avona kre'na, pristi ne' Ezraga Anumzamofo kasegema antahini hu'nenka, monafima mani'nea Ra Anumzamofo kasegema rempima hu'nezamina ne'moka kre negami'na, musenke atregantoe.
Artaxerxes, king of kings, to Ezra the priest, scribe of the law of the God of heaven, all peace;
13 Nagra menina huvempa naneke huankino, nagrama kvama hu'noa Israeli vahepi, pristi vahepi, Livae naga'ma mani'nezama kagranema Jerusalemi vunaku'ma hanamo'za, amne vugahaze huzmantoe.
And now it is my order that all those of the people of Israel, and their priests and Levites in my kingdom, who are ready and have a desire to go to Jerusalem, are to go with you.
14 Hanki nagra kini ne'mo'nane antahintahima nenamiza 7ni'a vahe'mo'zane, kagrira hu izo hugantonankinka amne vunka Jerusalemi kumate'ene Juda mopare'ma mani'naza vahe'mo'zanena Ra Anumzanka'amofo kasege avontafe'ma kzampima eri'nana kasegea, amagera nentazafi ome kegahane.
Because you are sent by the king and his seven wise men, to get knowledge about Judah and Jerusalem, as you are ordered by the law of your God which is in your hand;
15 Hanki nagra kini ne'mo'nane antahintahima nenamiza vahe'mo'zanena tavesite musezana silvane golinena Israeli vahe'motma Ra Anumzamofona amunanki, erinka vunka Jerusalemima Agrama nemania mono nompi ome anto.
And to take with you the silver and gold freely offered by the king and his wise men to the God of Israel, whose Temple is in Jerusalem,
16 Hanki Babiloni kumatmimpinti'ma zogi'nana silvane golinena ana zanke hunka erinka vuo. Ana nehunka Babiloni mopafima mani'naza Israeli vahe'ene, pristi vahe'mo'zama, Ra Anumzazmimofo mono noma Jerusalemima me'nefima, ofama huogu'ma zamavesite kami'naza ofanena eri'nenka vuo.
As well as all the silver and gold which you get from the land of Babylon, together with the offering of the people and of the priests, freely given for the house of their God, which is in Jerusalem:
17 Hagi ana zagoa kvahu so'e hu'nenka, Jerusalema kagri Ra Anumzamofo mono nompima me'nea kresramna vu itare'ma kresramnama vanana zantamina, ve bulimakaonki, sipisipi afuki, ve anenta sipisipi afuki hunka miza nesenka, ofama hu'zanena witigi waini tinki hunka ana zagoretira mizaso.
So with this money get with care oxen, sheep, and lambs, with their meal offerings and their drink offerings, to be offered on the altar of the house of your God, which is in Jerusalem.
18 Hanki ana zantamima miza setenankeno'ma mago'ama mesia silvane golinena Ra Anumzamofo avesi avaririta knare'ma hania zana, kagrane kafuhe'zanena tamagri Ra Anumzamofona hunteho.
And whatever seems right to you and to your brothers to do with the rest of the silver and gold, that do, as may be pleasing to your God.
19 Hanki Ra Anumzamofo mono nompima eri'zama erisia zantamima kami'naza zana, erinka Anumzamofo mono nompi Jerusalemi omento.
And the vessels which have been given to you for the uses of the house of your God, you are to give to the God of Jerusalem.
20 Hanki anama nehunkama, Anumzankamofo mono nompima ante'zanku'ma mago'a hanunka, kinimo'na zagoma nentaza nompinti, zagoa erinka atupa'ma hanana zana miza hugahane.
And whatever more is needed for the house of your God, and which you may have to give, take it from the king's store-house.
21 Hanki nagra kini ne' Artaserksisi'na menina huvempa hu'na huanki Yufretisi rantimofo kantu kazigama me'nea kumatmimpima mani'netma zagoma kegavama nehaza vahera amanage hu'na neramasamue, pristi ne' Ezra'a monafinka mani'nea Ra Anumzamofo kasege'a rempi hunezamia ne' mani'neanki, Anumzamofo mono noma kinaku'ma mago'a zanku'ma tamantahigesigeta, ame hutma ana zana amiho.
And I, even I, Artaxerxes the king, now give orders to all keepers of the king's money across the river, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, may have need of from you, is to be done with all care,
22 Hianagi ana zantamima amisnazana ama avamena agateretma omiho. Silva 3400'a kiloa agateretma omiho. Up to a hundred talents of silver, a hundred measures of grain, a hundred measures of wine, and a hundred measures of oil, and salt without measure.
23 Hanki monafinkama mani'nea Anumzamo'ma mono noma'ama ki'zanku'ma huramante'nia zana kegava hunetma avariri fatgo hiho. E'ina'ma osnageno'a Anumzamo'a nagri kini ne'monane, ne' mofavre naga'niama henkama kinima fore'ma hanaza naga'enena arimpa aherantegahie.
Whatever is ordered by the God of heaven, let it be done completely for the house of the God of heaven; so that there may not be wrath against the kingdom of the king and his sons.
24 Hagi mago'enema tamasamisuana antahiho, Pristi vaheteti'ene Livae nagateti'ene zagame'ma hu' vaheteti'ene, mono nonkafante'ma kvama nehaza vaheteti'ene, mono nompima eri'zama eneriza vaheteti'ene, mago'a Anumzamofo mono nompima eri'zama eneriza vaheteti'enena ruzahu ruzahu takisi zagoa e'oriho.
In addition, we make it clear to you, that it will be against the law to put any tax or payment in goods or forced payment on any of the priests or Levites, the music-makers, door-keepers, Nethinim, or any servants of this house of God.
25 Hanki Ezraga antahio, Anumzankamo'a tusi'a knare antahi'zana kami'nea antahizanteti, Yufretisi rantimofo kantu kazigama me'nea kumatmimpima keagama refko hu kva vahera zamazeri otinke'za mani'ne'za, ana vahera kva huzmanteho. Hagi mago'a vahe'ma Anumzamofo kasegema antahi so'ema osu'nesaza vahe'ma mani'nesazana kagra rempi huzamio.
And you, Ezra, by the wisdom of your God which is in you, are to put rulers and judges to have authority over all the people across the river who have knowledge of the laws of your God; and you are to give teaching to him who has no knowledge of them.
26 Hanki mago vahe'mo'ma kagri Anumzamofo kasegema amage ontege, kini ne' Artaserksisi'na nagri kasegenema amage'ma ontesia vahera tamagerfa hu'za ahe frisageno frige, ahenatisageno ru moparega vuge, fenozama'a erige, kina huntege hugahaze.
And if anyone does not keep the law of your God and the law of the king, take care that punishment is given to him, by death or by driving him from his country or by taking away his goods or by putting him in prison.
27 Hanki nagra Ezra'na Ra Anumzana tagehe'mokizmi Ra Anumzamofona muse hunte'na agi'a ahentesga nehue. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a kini ne'mofona antahintahi'a azeri otigeno Jerusalemia Ra Anumzamofo mono nona eri avasase nehie.
Praise be to the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing into the heart of the king, to make fair the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem;
28 Hanki Ra Anumzamo'a asunku hunanteno, kini ne'ene agri'ma antahintahima nemiza vahe'ene, hankave eri'za vahe'amokizmia antahintahi zamige'za nagrira nazeri so'e nehaze. E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamo'a nagrane mani'neno hankavea nenamianki'na, Israeli vahepima ugotama hu'naza vahe'a amne zamavare'nugeta Jerusalemia marerigahune.
And has given mercy to me before the king and his government and before all the king's great captains. And I was made strong by the hand of the Lord my God which was on me, and I got together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.
