1 Hagi Asa nona nemofo Jehosafati erino Juda vahe kinia mani'neno, Israeli vahe'mo'za ha'ma eme huzmante zankura kuma'a eri hankaveti'ne.
And Jehoshaphat his son became king in his place, and made himself strong against Israel.
2 Hagi sondia vahe'aramina huzmantege'za Juda mopafima me'nea ranra kumatmina ome kva hu'za nemani'zageno, mago'a sondia vahera huzmantege'za ko'ma nefa Asa'ma Efraemu mopafi me'nea kumatmima ha'ma huno hanare'nea kumatamina ome kegava hu'naze.
He put forces in all the walled towns of Judah, and responsible chiefs in the land of Judah and in the towns of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.
3 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a Jehosafeti'ene mani'ne. Na'ankure agra kinima nemanino'a, negeho Deviti'ma agafa huno kinima nemanino knare avu'ava'ma hu'neaza huno, Bali havi anumzantera monora huonte'ne.
And the Lord was with Jehoshaphat, because he went in the early ways of his father, not turning to the Baals,
4 Hianagi Jehosafati'a Israeli vahe avu'avara amagera onteno, negeho Anumzamofo amage'nenteno kasege'a kegava huno amage'ante'ne.
But turning to the God of his father and keeping his laws, and not doing as Israel did.
5 E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a kinima mani'zana agri azampi anteno azeri hankavetigeno, mika Juda vahe'mo'za musezana eri'za eme ami'naze. Ana'ma hazageno'a Jehosafati'a tusi feno antegeno, agimo'a mareri'ne.
So the Lord made his kingdom strong; and all Judah gave offerings to Jehoshaphat, and he had great wealth and honour.
6 Hagi agra hankvetino Ra Anumzamofona amage'nenteno mika Juda mopafintira havi anumzamofonte mono'ma hunentaza agona kumatmina erihaviza nehuno, Asera havi anumzamofo amema'ama antre'za tro huntene'zama mono'ma nehaza zafaramina antagi atre'ne.
His heart was lifted up in the ways of the Lord; and he went so far as to take away the high places and the wood pillars out of Judah.
7 Hagi Jehosafati'ma 3'a kafuma kinima nemanino'a, eri'za vahe'aramina Ben-hailimima, Obadiama, Zekaraiama, Netanelima, Makaiama huno huzmantege'za, Juda rankumatamimpi Ra Anumzamofo kasege ome rempi huzami'za vano hu'naze.
In the third year of his rule he sent Benhail and Obadiah and Zechariah and Nethanel and Micaiah, his captains, as teachers into the towns of Judah;
8 Hagi ana kva vahetamima zmazamahu Livae vahetmina, Semaia'ma, Netanaia'ma, Zebadaia'ma, Asaheli'ma, Semiramoti'ma Jehonatani'ma, Adonija'ma, Tobia'ma, Tob-Adonija'e. Hagi pristi netre'na Elisa'ene Jehoramuke anampina vu'na'e.
And with them, Shemaiah and Nethaniah and Zebadiah and Asahel and Shemiramoth and Jehonathan and Adonijah and Tobijah and Tob-adonijah, the Levites; and Elishama and Jehoram the priests.
9 Hagi ana vahetmimo'za Ra Anumzamofo kasege avontafe eri'neza maka Juda mopafima me'nea ranra kumatamimpi vano nehu'za, vahera rempi huzmi'naze.
And they gave teaching in Judah and had the book of the law of the Lord with them; they went through all the towns of Judah teaching the people.
10 Hagi Juda mopamofo tavaonte'ma manigagi'naza vahetmimo'za Ra Anumzamofonkura tusi koro nehu'za, Jehosafatina hara eme huonte'naze.
And the fear of the Lord was on all the kingdoms of the lands round Judah, so that they made no wars against Jehoshaphat.

And some of the Philistines took offerings to Jehoshaphat, and made him payments of silver; and the Arabians gave him flocks, seven thousand, seven hundred sheep, and seven thousand, seven hundred he-goats.
12 Hagi Jehosafati'a hankavenentake kini fore nehuno, maka Juda mopafima me'nea ranra kumatamimpina vihu kegina nehuno, kave'ma ante kumataminena kinenteno,
Jehoshaphat became greater and greater, and made strong towers and store-towns in Judah.
13 nezantmina ana kumatmimpina ante avitente'ne. Hagi koro osu'za hankavematiza ha'ma nehaza sondia vahetmina, Jerusalemi kumapi zamavare atru hige'za mani'naze.
He had much property in the towns of Judah; he had forces of armed men, great and strong, in Jerusalem.
14 Hagi ana sondia vahetmima nagate nofite'ma hu'zama zamagima kre'za eri fatgoma hu'nazana vahete kva vahe'mo'za 1tauseni'a sondia vahe kegava hazageno, Juda nagapima 300 tauseni'a sondia vahe'ma kegavama hu'naza sondia kva vahete, Adna'a kva higeno,
This is the number of them, listed by their families, the captains of thousands of Judah: Adnah, the captain, and with him three hundred thousand men of war;
15 anantera Jehohanani'a 280 tauseni'a sondia vahete kva higeno,
Second to him Jehohanan, the captain, and with him two hundred and eighty thousand;

After him Amasiah, the son of Zichri, who freely gave himself to the Lord, and with him two hundred thousand men of war;
17 Hagi Benzameni nagapintira, Eliada'a atine kevene hankonema erino ha'ma hu sondia vahetmina 200 tauseni'a vahete kva higeno,
And the captains of Benjamin: Eliada, a great man of war, and with him two hundred thousand armed with bows and body-covers;
18 anantera Jehosabeti'a 180 tauseni'a sondia vahetmima hate'ma vunaku'ma tro'ma hu'naza vahetami kva hu'ne.
And after him Jehozabad, and with him a hundred and eighty thousand trained for war.
19 Hagi ama ana maka vahera kini ne'mofo eri'za vahetamine. Hagi mago'a vahetmina maka Juda mopafima me'nea ranra vihu kumatmimpi manitere hu'naze.
These were the men who were waiting on the king, in addition to those placed by the king in the walled towns through all Judah.
