1 Hagi Siba mopama kegava hu'nea kuini a'mo'ma Anumzamo'ma Solomonima azama higeno'ma knare'ma hiazamofo agenkema nentahino'a, amuhoma hu'nea agenoka kea antahigeno reheno ke'naku, Jerusalemi kumate e'ne. (Luk 11:31)
The queen [who ruled the] Sheba [area] heard that Yahweh had caused Solomon to become famous, so she traveled to Jerusalem to ask him questions that were difficult [to answer].
2 Hagi ana kuini a'mo'a eri'za vahe'arami hige'za aza hazageno mnanentake zantamine, rama'a goline, zago'amo marerirfa haveraminena, kemoli afu agumpi erinte'za Jerusalem kumate e'naze. Hagi ana kuini a'mo'a Solomoninte ehanatino maka antahintahi'afima me'nea nanekea eme asami'ne.
She came with a large group of wealthy/influential people, and she brought camels that were loaded with spices, and valuable gems, and a lot of gold. When she met Solomon, she asked him questions about all the topics/things in which she was interested.
3 Hagi ana a'mo'ma agenoka'ma hirera Solomoni'a mago zana agateoreno ana maka eriama huno kenona hunte'ne. Hagi ana a'mofoma kenonama hunte'neana, mago zamo'e huno Solomonina amuhoa huonte'ne.
Solomon answered all her questions. He explained everything that she asked about, even things that were very difficult.
4 Hagi Siba kuini a'mo'ma Solomoni knare antahintahi zama keno antahi'no'ma nehuno, noma ki'nea noma negeno,
The queen realized that Solomon was very wise. She saw his palace;
5 ne'zama nenaza trate'ma me'nea ne'zama negeno, eri'za vahe'ama eri'za kante'ma zamantege'za marerirfa kukenama hu'naza zana negeno, kinimofo waini tima tro hu eri'za vahe'ma negeno, tevefima kre fananehu ofama Ra Anumzamofo nompima nehiazama negeno'a, ke'a omne'ne.
she saw the food that was served on his table [every day]; she saw where his officials lived (OR, how his officials were seated at the table), their uniforms, the servants who served the food and wine, and the sacrifices that he took to the temple to be offered. She was extremely amazed.
6 Hagi anante ana a'mo'a kini nekura amanage hu'ne, Kagri kagenkene knare antahizanka'amofo agenkenema kuma'niregama mani'nena antahi'noana tamage!
She said to King Solomon, “Everything that I heard in my own country about you and about how wise you are is true!
7 Hianagi kuma'niregama mani'nena kagri kagenkema nentahi'na, havige hu'na hu'noane. Hagi menina nagra navufinti nege'na nagra nagesafinti antahue. Hagi antahintahi kamo'ene, knare'ma hunka hagenkama marerina zamofo kagenkema antahi'noa zana agatere'ne.
But I did not believe it was true until I came here and saw it myself. But really, what they told me is only half [of what they could have told me about you]. You are extremely wise and rich, more than what people told me.
8 Hagi kagri vahe'mo'zane, eri'za vahe'kamozanema, maka knama kavugama mani'ne'za knare antahizanka'ama nentahiza muse hugahaze.
Your wives are very fortunate! Your officials who are constantly standing in front of you and listening to the wise things that you say are also fortunate!
9 Hagi Ra Anumzana kagri Anumzamo'ma musema huganteno Israeli vahe' kini trate'ma kavrente'nea Anumzamo'a, ragi erigahie. Na'ankure Agra Israeli vahera zmavesinte vava nehuno, fatgo hunka refko nehunka fatgo kavukava hunka Israeli vahera kegava huzmanto huno kinia kazeri oti'ne.
Praise Yahweh, your God, who has shown that he is pleased with you by causing you to become the king of Israel! God has always loved the Israeli people, and therefore he has appointed you to be their king, in order that you will rule them fairly and righteously.”
10 Anage nehuno ana a'mo'a Solomonina kna'amo'a 4tani hu'nea goline, mnanetake zantmanine, zago'amo marerirfa haveraminena rama'a ami'ne. Hagi Siba kuini a'mo'ma erino'ma e'nea avamentera, mnanentake zantamina Solomonina mago'mo'e huno erino eme omi'ne.
Then the queen gave to the king [the things that she had brought. She gave him] almost five tons of gold and a large amount of spices and valuable gems. Never again did King Solomon receive more spices than the queen gave him at that time.
11 Hagi Hiramu venteramimo'a Ofiri kumatetira goline, rama'a alamuk zafaramine, zago'amo mareri haveraminena erino e'ne.
In the ships that belonged to King Hiram, in which they had previously brought gold from Ophir, they also brought a large amount of juniper wood and gems/valuable stones.
12 Hagi kini ne'mo'a ana zafaraminuti Ra Anumzamofo mono none, agra nonena negino, hapue nehaza zavenama mago'a zavenane tro hu'ne. Hagi venteramimo'ma erino'ma e'neankna zafa mago'mo'e huno erinora ome'ne.
King Solomon told his workers to use that wood to make railings/supports in the temple of Yahweh and in the king’s palace and also to make harps and lyres for the (musicians/men who played musical instruments). That wood was the largest amount of (OR, the finest) wood that had ever been seen [in Israel]. And no one since then has ever seen so much wood of that kind.
13 Hagi ana'ma higeno'a kini ne' Solomoni'a musezantamima amia agofetura Siba kuini a'mo'ma nazankuro antahigea zana amne ami'ne. Hagi ana'ma higeno'a Siba kuini a'mo'a eri'za vahe'ane ete mopa zimirega vu'naze.
King Solomon gave to the queen from Sheba everything that she wanted. He gave her those gifts in addition to the gifts that he always gave [to other rulers who visited him]. Then she and the people who came with her returned to her own land.
14 Hagi Solomoni'a mago'mago kafufina kna'amo'a 23tani hu'nea goli eritere hu'ne.
Each year there was brought to Solomon a total of 25 tons of gold.
15 Hagi zagore'ma fenoma netraza vaheteti'ene, Arabia kini vahetaminteti'ene, Israeli mopama refko hu'za kvama huterema hu'naza vahetaminteti takesi zagomo'a anampina eofre'ne.
That was in addition to [the taxes] paid to him by the merchants and traders, and the annual taxes paid by the kings of Arabia and by the governors of [the regions in] Israel.
16 Hagi Solomoni'a goli ruguta huno 200'a ranra hanko tro hu'ne. Hagi kna'amo'a 7 kilo naza hu'nea golireti mago'mago hankoa trohutere hu'ne.
King Solomon’s workers [took this] gold and hammered it into thin sheets and covered 200 large shields with those thin sheets of gold; they put (almost 15 pounds/more than 6 kg.) of gold on each shield.
17 Hagi ne'one hankoramina hamanteti golia ruguta huno 300'a tro hu'ne. Hagi kna'amo'a 2kilo hu'nea golireti mago'mago hankoa trohutere hu'ne. Ana huteno Lebanoni afuza zafema huno kinte'nea nompi ana zantamina ante'ne.
His workers made 300 smaller shields. They covered each of them with (almost 4 pounds/1.5 kg.) of gold. Then the king put those shields in the Hall of the Forest of Lebanon.
18 Ana nehuno kini ne'mo'a kini tra'a razankrerfa trohuteno, elefantimofo zaza aveteti (ivory) ana trara avasesea hunteteno, knare zantfa hu'nea golireti erino vazinte'ne.
His workers also made for him a large throne. [Part of it was] covered with (ivory [decorations made from)] tusks of elephants and [part of it was covered] with very fine gold.
19 Hagi ana kini trate'ma agama reno mareri trara 6si'a ahenteno mrenerino, ana tra'mofo amefiga'a golireti amagenama ante'zana eri fagigi nenteno, bulimakao anenta afu'mofo agenopa tro hunenteno, azama ante harage'ma hu zafa ana tratera ahenenteno, tare laioni amema'a tro huno ana tra'mofona kantigama retrurente'ne.
There were six steps in front of the throne. There was a statue of a lion on both sides of each step. So altogether there were twelve statues of lions. The back of the throne was rounded at the top. At each side of the throne there was an armrest, and alongside each armrest there was a small statue of a lion. No throne like that had ever existed in any other kingdom.
20 Ana nehuno 6'a tra'ma ahenoma marerinerera, kantigama mago'mago Laionimofo amema'a tro huno antetere huno mareri'geno ana makara 12fu'a laioni amema'a me'ne. Hagi e'inahu kini trara mago kini ne'mo'e huno ama mopafina trora osu'ne.
21 Hagi maka Solomoni'ma tima nenea kapuramine Lebanoni afuza zafe huno'ma noma'agu'ma agima antemi'nea nompima me'nea zuomparamina goliretike tro hu'ne. Hagi Silvaretira trora osu'naze. Na'ankure Solomoni knafina silvamofo kna'amo'a evurami'ne.
All of Solomon’s cups were made of gold, and all the various dishes in the Hall of the Forest of Lebanon were made of gold. They did not make things from silver, because during the years that Solomon [ruled], silver was not considered to be valuable.
22 Hagi kini ne'mo'a rama'a vente ante'negeno, Hiramu venteramine hagerimpina vano hu'ne. Hagi 3'a kafufina magoke knazupa ana venteramimo'a elefanti afumofo zaza ave'ma (ivory) golima silvama, monkima ranra namaraminena avre'za etere hu'naze.
The king had a (fleet/large number) of ships that sailed with the ships that King Hiram owned. Every three years the ships returned [from the places to which they had sailed], bringing gold, silver, ivory, monkeys, and baboons (OR, peacocks).
23 Ana higeno ama mopafi kini vahe'mokizmia, kini ne' Solomoni'a feno zampine knare antahintahifina zamagatere'ne.
King Solomon became richer and wiser than any other king.
24 Hagi maka kokankoka vahe'mo'za Solomoninte e'za Anumzamo'ma amia knare antahintahia eme antahi'naze.
People from all over the world wanted to come and listen to the wise things that Solomon said, things that God had put into his mind.
25 Hagi kafune kafunena mago'mago vahe'mo'zama Solomonima agenaku'ma aza vahe'mo'za silvane, goline, kukenane, ha' zantamine, mere nehaza mnanentake pauranena eme nemiza, hosi afutamine, miulie nehaza donki afutaminena avre'za musezana eme ami'naze.
All the people who came to him brought presents: They brought things made from silver or gold, or robes, or weapons (OR, myrrh), or spices, or horses, or mules. The people continued to do this every year.
26 Hagi Solomoni'a ha'ma hu'zantamina 1tausen 4 hantreti'a karisirami eri tru nehuno, 12 tauseni'a hosi afutami eritru hu'ne. Hagi karisima ante kumatmima tro'ma huntenefine, Jerusalemi kumapinena, ana zantamina zamante'ne.
Solomon acquired 1,400 chariots and 12,000 men who rode [on the horses] (OR, [in the chariots]). Solomon put some of them in Jerusalem and some of them in other cities where he kept his chariots.
27 Hagi kini ne'mo'a rama'a silva eritru higeno havemo'ma hiaza huno Jerusalemi kumapina amne zankna nehigeno, rama'a sida zafa eritru higeno, sikamo zafamo'ma Juda neone agonafima hiaza huno amne zankna hu'ne.
During the years that Solomon was king, silver became as common in Jerusalem as stones; and [lumber from] cedar trees in the foothills of Judah was as plentiful as [lumber from] fig trees.
28 Hagi Solomoni'a hosi afutamina Isipiti'ene Kue kumateti'ene mizase'ne. Hagi Kue kumateti'ma hosi afu'tamima mizanesaza zago avamenteti, Solomoni eri'za vahe'mo'za hosi afutamina Kue kumatetira mizana hu'naze.
Solomon’s agents bought horses and supervised the men who brought them into Israel from the areas of Musri and Cilicia [that were famous for breeding horses].

In Musri they bought chariots and horses; they paid 600 pieces of silver for each chariot and 150 pieces of silver for each horse. They brought them to Israel. Then they sold many of them to the kings of the Heth people-group and the kings of Syria.
