ホセア書 10
1 イスラエルは果をむすびて茂り榮る葡萄の樹その果の多くなるがままに祭壇をましその地の饒かなるがままに偶像を美しくせり
Israel is a luxuriant vine that puts forth his fruit. According to the abundance of his fruit he has multiplied his altars. According to the goodness of their land they have made goodly pillars.
2 かれらは二心をいだけり今かれら罪せらるべし神はその祭壇を打毀ちその偶像を折棄てたまはん
Their heart is divided. Now they shall be found guilty. He will smite their altars. He will destroy their pillars.
3 かれら今いふべし我儕神を畏れざりしに因て我らに王なしこの王はわれらのために何をかなさんと
Surely now they shall say, We have no king, for we fear not Jehovah. And the king, what can he do for us?
4 かれらは虚しき言をいだし偽の誓をなして約をたつ審判は畑の畝にもえいづる茵蔯のごとし
They speak vain words, swearing falsely in making covenants. Therefore judgment springs up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
5 サマリヤの居民はベテアベンの犢の故によりて戰慄かんその民とこれを悦ぶ祭司等はその榮のうせたるが爲になげかん
The inhabitants of Samaria shall be in terror for the calves of Beth-aven. For the people of it shall mourn over it, and the priests of it, who rejoiced over it for the glory of it, because it has departed from it.
6 犢はアッスリヤに携へられ禮物としてヤレブ王に献げらるべしエフライムは羞をかうむりイスラエルはおのが計議を恥ぢん
It shall also be carried to Assyria for a present to king Jareb. Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
7 サマリヤはほろびその王は水のうへの木片のごとし
As for Samaria, its king is cut off, as foam upon the water.
8 イスラエルの罪なるアベンの崇邱は荒はてて荊棘と蒺藜その壇のうへにはえ茂らんその時かれら山にむかひて我儕をおほへ陵にむかひて我儕のうへに倒れよといはん
The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars, and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us, and to the hills, Fall on us.
9 イスラエルよ汝はギベアの日より罪ををかせり彼等はそこに立り邪惡のひとびとを攻たりし戰爭はギベアにてかれらに及ばざりき
O Israel, thou have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they stood. The battle against the sons of iniquity does not overtake them in Gibeah.
10 我思ふままに彼等をいましめん彼等その二の罪につながれん時もろもろの民あつまりて之をせめん
When it is my desire, I will chastise them. And the peoples shall be gathered against them, when they are bound to their two transgressions.
11 エフライムは馴されたる牝牛のごとくにして穀をふむことを好むされどわれその美しき頸に物を負しむべし我エフライムに軛をかけんユダは耕しヤコブは土塊をくだかん
And Ephraim is a heifer that is taught, that loves to tread out the grain. But I have passed over upon her fair neck. I will set a rider on Ephraim. Judah shall plow. Jacob shall break his clods.
12 なんぢら義を生ずるために種をまき憐憫にしたがひてかりとり又新地をひらけ今はヱホバを求むべき時なり終にはヱホバきたりて義を雨のごとく汝等のうへに降せたまはん
Sow to yourselves in righteousness. Reap according to kindness. Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek Jehovah, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you.
13 なんぢらは惡をたがへし不義を穫をさめ虚偽の果をくらへりこは汝おのれの途をたのみ己が勇士の數衆きをたのめるに縁る
Ye have plowed wickedness. Ye have reaped iniquity. Ye have eaten the fruit of lies. For thou trusted in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
14 この故になんぢらの民のなかに擾亂おこりて汝らの城はことごとく打破られんシャルマンが戰門の日にベテアルベルを打破りしにことならず母その子とともに碎かれたり
Therefore a tumult shall arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be destroyed, as Shalman destroyed Beth-arbel in the day of battle; the mother was dashed in pieces with her sons.
15 なんぢらの大なる惡のゆゑによりてべテル如此なんぢらに行へるなりイスラエルの王はあしたに滅びん
So shall Bethel do to you because of your great wickedness. At daybreak the king of Israel shall be utterly cut off.
