< Josue 24 >

1 Ket inummong ni Josue dagiti amin a tribu ti Israel idiay Sikem ken inayabanna dagiti panglakayen ti Israel, dagiti mangidadaulo kadakuada, dagiti ukomda, ken dagiti opisialda, ket dimmatagda iti imatang ti Dios.
And Joshua gathers all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and calls for [the] elderly of Israel, and for his heads, and for his judges, and for his authorities, and they station themselves before God.
2 Kinuna ni Josue kadagiti amin a tattao, “Daytoy ti ibagbaga ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel, 'Nagnaed dagiti kapuonanyo idi un-unana a panawen iti ballasiw ti Karayan Eufrates—Ni Tera nga ama da Abraham ken Nahor—ket nagdaydayawda kadagiti sabali a dios.
And Joshua says to all the people, “Thus said YHWH, God of Israel: Beyond the River your fathers have dwelt of old—Terah father of Abraham and father of Nachor—and they serve other gods;
3 Ngem innalak ti amayo iti labes ti Eufrates ket impanko iti daga ti Canaan ken inikkak isuna iti adu a kaputotan babaen kenni Isaac nga anakna.
and I take your father Abraham from beyond the River, and cause him to go through all the land of Canaan, and multiply his seed, and give Isaac to him.
4 Ket intedko kenni Isaac da Jacob ken Esau. Intedko kenni Esau ti katurturodan a pagilian ti Sier tapno tagikuaenna, ngem simmalog ni Jacob ken dagiti annakna idiay Egipto.
And I give Jacob and Esau to Isaac; and I give Mount Seir to Esau, to possess it; and Jacob and his sons have gone down to Egypt.
5 Imbaonko da Moises ken Aaron ket pinarigatko dagiti Egipcio babaen kadagiti didigra. Kalpasan dayta, inruarkayo.
And I send Moses and Aaron, and plague Egypt, as I have done in its midst, and afterward I have brought you out.
6 Inruarko dagiti kapuonanyo idiay Egipto ket dimtengkayo iti baybay. Kinamat ida dagiti Egipcio a nakasakay kadagiti lugan a pakigubat ken nakakabalio a lallaki agingga iti Baybay dagiti Runo.
And I bring out your fathers from Egypt, and you go to the sea, and the Egyptians pursue after your fathers, with chariot and with horsemen, to the Red Sea;
7 Idi immawag dagiti kapuonanyo kenni Yahweh, nangikabil isuna iti kinasipnget iti nagbaetanyo kadagiti Egipcio. Pinagsublina ti danum iti nagbisngay a baybay ket nalmesda. Nakitayo ti inaramidko idiay Egipto. Ket nagnaedkayo idiay let-ang iti atiddog a tiempo.
and they cry to YHWH, and He sets thick darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brings the sea over him, and covers them, and your eyes see that which I have done in Egypt; and you dwell in a wilderness [for] many days.
8 Impankayo iti daga dagiti Amorreo nga agnanaed iti ballasiw ti Jordan. Nakigubatda kadakayo ket inyawatko ida iti imayo. Tinagikuayo ti dagada ken dinadaelko ida iti sangoananyo.
And I bring you into the land of the Amorite who is dwelling beyond the Jordan, and they fight with you, and I give them into your hand, and you possess their land, and I destroy them out of your presence.
9 Kalpasanna, timmakder ni Balak nga anak ni Sefor nga ari ti Moab ket rinautna ti Israel. Nangibaon isuna iti mangayab kenni Balaam nga anak ni Beor tapno ilunodnakayo.
And Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, rises and fights against Israel, and sends and calls for Balaam son of Beor, to revile you,
10 Ngem saanak a dimngeg kenni Balaam. Pudno, binendisionannakayo. Kasta nga inispalkayo iti imana.
and I have not been willing to listen to Balaam, and he greatly blesses you, and I deliver you out of his hand.
11 Bimmallasiwkayo iti Jordan ket dimtengkayo iti Jerico. Nakigubat dagiti panguloen ti Jerico kadakayo, agraman dagiti Amorreo, dagiti Perezeo, dagiti Cananeo, dagiti Heteo, dagiti Gergeseo, dagiti Heveo, ken dagiti Jebuseo. Intedko ti panagballigiyo kadakuada ken inkabilko ida iti turayyo.
And you pass over the Jordan, and come to Jericho, and the possessors of Jericho fight against you—the Amorite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Girgashite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite—and I give them into your hand.
12 Imbaonko dagiti alimbubuyog iti sangoananyo, nga isu ti nangpatalaw kadakuada ken kadagiti dua nga ari dagiti Amorreo iti sangoananyo. Saan a napasamak daytoy babaen iti kampilanyo wenno babaen iti baiyo.
And I send the hornet before you, and it casts them out from your presence—two kings of the Amorite—not by your sword, nor by your bow.
13 Inikkankayo iti daga a saanyo a trinabaho ken kadagiti siudad a saanyo nga impasdek, ket ita agnanaedkayo kadagitoy. Kankanenyo ti bunga dagiti kaubasan ken kaoliboan a saanyo nga immula.'
And I give a land to you for which you have not labored, and cities which you have not built, and you dwell in them; you are eating of vineyards and olive-yards which you have not planted.
14 Ita, agbuteng ken agdayawkayo kenni Yahweh iti amin a kinadalus ken kinapudno; ikkatenyo dagiti dios a dinaydayaw dagiti kapuonanyo iti ballasiw ti Eufrates ken idiay Egipto, ket agdayawkayo kenni Yahweh.
And now, fear YHWH, and serve Him, in perfection and in truth, and turn aside the gods which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt, and serve YHWH;
15 No ipagarupyo a dakes iti panagkitayo ti agdayaw kenni Yahweh, agpilikayo para kadagiti bagbagiyo iti daytoy nga aldaw no siasino ti pagserbianyo, no dagiti dios a dinaydayaw dagiti kapuonanyo iti ballasiw ti Eufrates wenno dagiti dios dagiti Amorreo a makindaga iti pagnanaedanyo. Ngem no maipapan kaniak ken ti balayko, agdayawkami kenni Yahweh.”
and if [it is] wrong in your eyes to serve YHWH—choose for yourselves today whom you serve—whether the gods whom your fathers served, which [are] beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorite in whose land you are dwelling; but me and my house—we serve YHWH.”
16 Simmungbat dagiti tattao ket kinunada, “Saanmi pulos a panawan ni Yahweh tapno agserbikami kadagiti sabali a dios,
And the people answer and say, “Far be it from us to forsake YHWH, to serve other gods;
17 ta ni Yahweh a Diostayo ti nangiruar kadatayo ken kadagiti kapuonantayo manipud iti daga ti Egipto, manipud iti balay ti pannakatagabu, ken ti nangaramid kadagidiay naindaklan a pagilasinan iti imatangtayo, ken ti nangaywankadatayo iti amin a dalan a nagnaantayo ken kadagiti amin a nasion a linasattayo.
for our God YHWH [is] He who is bringing us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, out of a house of servants, and who has done these great signs before our eyes, and keeps us in all the way in which we have gone, and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed;
18 Ket pinagtalaw ni Yahweh iti sangoanantayo dagiti amin a tattao, dagiti Amorreo a nagnaed iti daytoy a daga. Isu nga agdayawkami met kenni Yahweh ta isuna ti Diostayo.”
and YHWH casts out the whole of the peoples, even the Amorite inhabiting the land, from our presence; we also serve YHWH, for He [is] our God.”
19 Ngem kinuna ni Josue kadagiti tattao, “Saanyo a mabalin ti agserbi kenni Yahweh ta nasantoan isuna a Dios; managimon isuna a Dios; saanna a pakawanen dagiti panaglabsing ken basbasolyo.
And Joshua says to the people, “You are not able to serve YHWH, for He [is] a most holy God; He [is] a zealous God; He does not bear with your transgression and with your sins.
20 No panawanyo ni Yahweh ket agdayawkayo kadagiti ganggannaet a dios, ket agbaw-ingto isuna ken dangrannakayo. Pukawennakayonto, kalpasan a nagaramid isuna iti naimbag kadakayo.”
When you forsake YHWH, and have served gods of a stranger, then He has turned back and done harm to you, and consumed you, after that He has done good to you.”
21 Ngem kinuna dagiti tattao kenni Josue, “Saan, agdayawkami kenni Yahweh.”
And the people say to Joshua, “No, but we serve YHWH!”
22 Ket kinuna ni Josue kadagiti tattao, “Dakayo dagiti saksi a maibusor kadagiti bagbagiyo a piniliyo ti agdayaw kenni Yahweh.” Kinunada, “Dakami dagiti saksi.”
And Joshua says to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves, that you have chosen YHWH for yourselves, to serve Him,” and they say, “Witnesses!”
23 “Ita, ikkatenyo dagiti sabali a dios nga adda kadakayo ket ibaw-ingyo dagiti pusoyo kenni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel.”
“And now, turn aside the gods of the stranger which [are] in your midst, and incline your heart to YHWH, God of Israel.”
24 Kinuna dagiti tattao kenni Josue, “Agdayawkami kenni Yahweh a Diostayo. Dumngegkami iti timekna.”
And the people say to Joshua, “We serve our God YHWH, and we listen to His voice.”
25 Nangaramid ni Josue iti katulagan kadagiti tattao iti dayta nga aldaw. Nangipaulog isuna kadagiti alagaden ken linlinteg idiay Sikem.
And Joshua makes a covenant with the people on that day, and lays a statute and an ordinance on it, in Shechem.
26 Insurat ni Josue dagitoy a sasao iti Libro ti Linteg ti Dios. Nangala isuna iti dakkel a bato ket insaadna iti sirok ti kayo a lugo iti asideg ti santuario ni Yahweh.
And Joshua writes these words in the Scroll of the Law of God, and takes a great stone, and raises it up there under the oak which [is] in the sanctuary of YHWH.
27 Kinuna ni Josue kadagiti amin a tattao, “Kitaenyo! Agbalin a pammaneknek daytoy a bato a maibusor kadatayo. Nangngeg daytoy dagiti amin a sasao nga imbaga ni Yahweh kadatayo. Isu nga agbalin daytoy a saksi a maibusor kadakayo, no ilaksidyo ti Diosyo.”
And Joshua says to all the people, “Behold, this stone is for a witness against us, for it has heard all the sayings of YHWH which He has spoken with us, and it has been for a witness against you, lest you lie against your God.”
28 Pinagawid ngarud ni Josue dagiti tattao, ti tunggal maysa iti bukodna a tawid.
And Joshua sends the people away, each to his inheritance.
29 Kalpasan dagitoy a banbanag, natay ni Josue nga anak ni Nun, nga adipen ni Yahweh nga addaan iti 110 a tawen.
And it comes to pass, after these things, that Joshua son of Nun, servant of YHWH, dies, a son of one hundred and ten years,
30 Intabonda isuna iti beddeng ti bukodna a tawid idiay Timnatsera, nga adda iti katurturodan a pagilian ti Efraim, iti amianan ti Bantay Gaas.
and they bury him in the border of his inheritance, in Timnath-Serah, which [is] in the hill-country of Ephraim, on the north of the hill of Gaash.
31 Nagdaydayaw ti Israel kenni Yahweh iti amin nga aldaw ni Josue, ken iti amin nga aldaw dagiti panglakayen a nabati a nagbiag iti at-atiddog ngem kenni Josue, isuda a nakapadas kadagiti amin nga inaramid ni Yahweh iti Israel.
And Israel serves YHWH all [the] days of Joshua, and all [the] days of the elderly who prolonged days after Joshua, and who knew all the work of YHWH which He did to Israel.
32 Inkalida idiay Sikem, iti paset ti daga a ginatang ni Jacob kadagiti annak ni Hamor nga ama ni Sikem, dagiti tulang ni Jose nga innala dagiti tattao ti Israel idiay Egipto. Ginatangna daytoy a daga iti sangagasut a bagi ti pirak ken nagbalin daytoy a tawid para kadagiti kaputotan ni Jose.
And the bones of Joseph, which the sons of Israel brought up out of Egypt, they buried in Shechem, in the portion of the field which Jacob bought from the sons of Hamor father of Shechem, with one hundred kesitah; and they are for an inheritance to the sons of Joseph.
33 Natay met ni Eleazar nga anak ni Aaron. Intabonda isuna idiay Gibea a siudad ni Finees nga anakna, a naited kenkuana. Adda daytoy iti katurturodan a pagilian ti Efraim.
And Eleazar son of Aaron died, and they bury him in a hill of his son Phinehas, which was given to him in the hill-country of Ephraim.
