Jeremias 44
1 Daytoy ti sao nga immay kenni Jeremias maipapan kadagiti amin a taga-Juda a nagnaed iti daga ti Egipto, dagiti agnanaed idiay Migdol, Tapanes, Memfis ken iti daga ti Patros.
The worde that came to Ieremiah concerning all the Iewes, which dwell in the lande of Egypt, and remained at Migdol and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the coutry of Pathros, saying,
2 “Ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin a Dios ti Israel, kastoy ti kunana: Nakitayo a mismo dagiti amin a didigra nga inyegko iti Jerusalem ken kadagiti amin a siudad ti Juda. Kitaenyo, langalang dagitoy ita. Awan ti agnanaed kadagitoy.
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Yee haue seene all the euill that I haue brought vpon Ierusalem, and vpon all the cities of Iudah: and beholde, this day they are desolate, and no man dwelleth therein,
3 Daytoy ket gapu kadagiti dinadangkes a banbanag nga inaramidda a nakaigapoan ti panagungetko gapu iti panagpupuorda iti insenso ken panagdaydayawda kadagiti didiosen. Dagitoy ket didiosen a saanda nga am-ammo, uray dakayo, ken uray pay dagiti kapuonanyo.
Because of their wickednes which they haue comitted, to prouoke me to anger in that they went to burne incense, and to serue other gods, who they knew not, neither they nor you nor your fathers.
4 Isu a namin-anok nga imbaon kadakuada dagiti amin nga adipenko a profeta. Imbaonko ida a mangibaga iti, 'Isardengyo ti panangar-aramidyo kadagitoy a makarimon a banbanag a kagurak.'
Howbeit I sent vnto you all my seruats the Prophets rising earely, and sending them, saying, Oh doe not this abominable thing that I hate.
5 Ngem saanda a dimngeg. Nagkedkedda a dumngeg wenno tumalikud iti kinadangkesda nga isu iti panangpuorda kadagiti insenso kas panagdayawda kadagiti didiosen.
But they would not heare nor incline their eare to turne from their wickednes, and to burne no more incense vnto other gods.
6 Isu a ti unget ken pungtotko ket naidissuor ken nangpasged iti apoy kadagiti siudad ti Juda ken kadagiti kalsada ti Jerusalem. Isu a nagbalin dagitoy a langalang ken nadadael dagitoy, a kas iti daytoy agdama a tiempo.”
Wherefore my wrath, and mine anger was powred foorth and was kindled in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, and they are desolate, and wasted, as appeareth this day.
7 Isu nga ita, ni Yahweh a Dios a Mannakabalin-amin ken Dios ti Israel, kastoy ti kunana, “Apay ketdi nga agaramidkayo iti kinadangkes maibusor kadagiti bagbagiyo? Apay nga isinsinayo dagiti bagbagiyo manipud iti Juda—lallaki ken babbai, ubbing ken maladaga? Awanto kadakayo iti mabati.
Therefore now thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel, Wherfore commit ye this great euill against your soules, to cut off from you man and woman, childe and suckling out of Iudah, and leaue you none to remaine?
8 Gapu iti kinadangkesyo, pinagpungtotdak gapu kadagiti aramid dagiti imayo, iti panangpuoryo iti insenso maipaay kadagiti didiosen iti daga ti Egipto, a napanyo nagnaedan. Napankayo sadiay iti kasta ket madadaelkayo, iti kasta ket agbalinkayo a lunod ken pagang-angawan kadagiti amin a nasion iti daga.
In that yee prouoke mee vnto wrath with the woorkes of your hands, burning incense vnto other Gods in the lande of Egypt whither yee be gone to dwell: that yee might bring destruction vnto your selues, and that ye might be a curse and a reproch among all nations of the earth.
9 Nalipatanyo kadin ti kinadangkes nga inaramid dagiti kapuonanyo, ken ti kinadangkes nga inaramid dagiti ari ti Juda ken dagiti assawada? Nalipatanyo kadin ti kinadakes nga inaramidyo ken dagiti assawayo iti daga ti Juda ken kadagiti kalsada ti Jerusalem?
Haue yee forgotten the wickednes of your fathers, and the wickednesse of the Kings of Iudah and the wickednesse of their wiues and your owne wickednes and the wickednes of your wiues, which they haue committed in the land of Iudah and in the streetes of Ierusalem?
10 Agingga kadagitoy a tiempo, saanda pay laeng a nagpakumbaba. Saanda a bigbigbigen wenno tungtungpalen dagiti paglintegak wenno alagadek nga intedko kadakuada ken kadagiti kapuonanda.”
They are not humbled vnto this day, neither haue they feared nor walked in my lawe nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
11 Isu a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin a Dios ti Israel, kastoy ti kuna, “Dumngegkayo, ingkeddengkon nga agtignayak a maibusor kadakayo, nga iyegkon kadakayo ti didigra ken ti panangdadaelko iti entero a Juda.
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I will set my face against you to euill and to destroy all Iudah,
12 Ta alaekto dagiti nabatbati iti Juda nga agpilit a mapan agnaed idiay Egipto. Aramidek daytoy tapno mapukawdanto amin iti daga ti Egipto. Mapasagdanto babaen iti kampilan ken panagbisin. Manipud iti kababaan agingga iti kangatoan a tattao, mapukawdanto babaen iti kampilan ken panagbisin. Mataydanto ket mausarto ti nagan ti nasionda no adda agsapata, agilunod, agibabain, ken nakakaasinto ti kasasaadda.
And I will take the remnant of Iudah, that haue set their faces to goe into the lande of Egypt there to dwell, and they shall all bee consumed and fall in the lande of Egypt: they shall euen bee consumed by the sworde and by the famine: they shall die from the least vnto the most, by the sworde, and by the famine, and they shall be a detestation and an astonishment and a curse and a reproche.
13 Ta dusaekto dagiti tattao nga agnanaed iti daga ti Egipto a kas iti panangdusak iti Jerusalem babaen iti kampilan, panagbisin, ken didigra.
For I will visite them that dwel in the land of Egypt, as I haue visited Ierusalem, by ye sworde, by the famine, and by the pestilence,
14 Awan kadagiti nabatbati iti Juda a mapan agnaed idiay Egipto ti agsubli iti daga ti Juda, uray no kayatda ti agsubli tapno agnaedda sadiay. Awanto kadakuada ti makasubli malaksid iti sumagmamano a makalibas.”
So that none of the remnant of Iudah, which are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall escape or remaine, that they shoulde returne into the land of Iudah to the which they haue a desire to returne to dwell there: for none shall returne, but such as shall escape.
15 Kalpasanna, simmungbat kenni Jeremias dagiti amin a lallaki a makin-ammo nga agpupuor dagiti assawada iti insenso kadagiti didiosen, ken amin a babbai nga adda iti dakkel a gimong ken amin dagiti tattao nga agnanaed iti daga ti Egipto idiay Patros.
Then all the men which knewe that their wiues had burnt incense vnto other gods and all the women that stoode by, a great multitude, euen all the people that dwelt in the lande of Egypt in Pathros, answered Ieremiah, saying,
16 Kinunada, “Maipanggep iti sao nga imbagam kadakami iti nagan ni Yahweh: Saankami a dumngeg kenka.
The worde that thou hast spoken vnto vs in the Name of the Lord, wee will not heare it of thee,
17 Ta pudno nga aramidenmi dagiti amin a banbanag nga imbagami nga aramidenmi: mangpuorkami iti insenso para iti Reyna ti Langit ken mangibukbokkami kadagiti daton a mainum kenkuana a kas iti inaramidmi, dagiti kapuonanmi, dagiti arimi, ken dagiti mangidadaulomi kadagiti siudad ti Juda ken kadagiti kalsada ti Jerusalem. Ket aglaplapusananto ti taraonmi, ken rumang-aykami, a saanmi a mapasaran ti aniaman a didigra.
But wee will doe whatsoeuer thing goeth out of our owne mouth, as to burne incense vnto the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, as we haue done, both we and our fathers, our Kings and our princes in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem: for then had wee plentie of vitailes and were well and felt none euill.
18 Idi insardengmi ti panangaramid kadagitoy a banbanag, a saankamin a nangpuor iti insenso maipaay iti Reyna ti Langit ken saankamin a nangibukbok iti daton a mainum maipaay kenkuana, nagsagabakami met amin ken adda pay natnatay kadakami babaen iti kampilan ken panagbisin.”
But since wee left off to burne incense to the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, we haue had scarcenesse of all things, and haue beene consumed by the sworde and by the famine.
19 Kinuna dagiti babbai, “Idi agipupuorkami iti insenso kas daton iti Reyna ti Langit ken agibukbukbokkami iti mainum a kas daton kenkuana, inaramidmi kadi dagitoy a banbanag a saan nga ammo dagiti assawami?”
And when we burnt incense to ye Queene of heauen, and powred out drinke offerings vnto her, did wee make her cakes to make her glad, and powre out drinke offerings vnto her without our husbands?
20 Ket kinuna ni Jeremias kadagiti amin a tattao—kadagiti lallaki ken babbai, ken kadagiti amin a tattao a simmungbat kenkuana—nagsao a kunana,
Then said Ieremiah vnto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had giuen him that answere, saying,
21 “Saan kadi a malagip ni Yahweh dagiti insenso a pinuoranyo kadagiti siudad ti Juda ken kadagiti kalsada ti Jerusalem—dakayo ken dagiti kapuonanyo, dagiti ar-ariyo ken mangidadauloyo, ken dagiti tattao iti daga? Malaglagip ni Yahweh daytoy; saanna a malipatan daytoy.
Did not the Lord remember the incense, that yee burnt in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, both you, and your fathers, your Kinges, and your princes, and the people of the land, and hath he not considered it?
22 Ket saannan a maanusan pay daytoy gapu kadagiti dinadangkes nga ar-aramidyo, gapu kadagiti makarimon nga inaramidyo. Ket nagbalin a langalang ti dagayo, nakabutbuteng, ken lunod isu nga awanen ti agnanaed iti daytoy a kas iti agdama.
So that the Lord could no longer forbeare, because of the wickednes of your inuentions, and because of the abominations, which ye haue committed: therefore is your lande desolate and an astonishment, and a curse and without inhabitant, as appeareth this day.
23 Gapu ta nangpuorkayo iti insenso ket nagbasolkayo kenni Yahweh, ken gapu ta saanyo nga ipangpangag ti timekna, ti lintegna, dagiti alagadenna, wenno ti pammaneknekna iti tulagna, napasamak kadakayo daytoy a didigra a kas iti agdama.”
Because ye haue burnt incense and because ye haue sinned against the Lord, and haue not obeyed the voyce of the Lord, nor walked in his Lawe, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies, therefore this plague is come vpon you, as appeareth this day.
24 Ket kinuna ni Jeremias kadagiti amin a tattao ken kadagiti amin a babbai, “Denggenyo ti sao ni Yahweh, dakayo amin a taga-Juda nga adda iti daga ti Egipto.
Moreouer Ieremiah saide vnto all the people and to all the women, Heare the word of the Lord, all Iudah that are in the land of Egypt.
25 Ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin a Dios ti Isael, kastoy ti kunana, 'Agpada nga imbagayo, dakayo ken dagiti assawayo a babbai ken impatungpalyo babaen kadagiti imayo ti kinunayo a, “Pudno nga ipatungpalmi dagiti insapatami a dayawenmi ti Reyna ti Langit, a mangibukbokkami iti mainum a daton a maipaay kenkuana.” Ita, aramidenyo dagiti insapatayo; ipatungpalyo dagitoy.'
Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Ye and your wiues haue both spoken with your mouthes, and fulfilled with your hande, saying, We will performe our vowes that we haue vowed to burne incense to the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings to her: yee will perfourme your vowes and doe the things that yee haue vowed.
26 Isu nga ita, denggenyo ti sao ni Yahweh, dakayo amin a taga-Juda nga agnanaed iti daga ti Egipto, 'Dumngegkayo, inkarik iti natan-ok a naganko—kuna ni Yahweh. Saanton nga umawag iti naganko dagiti ngiwat ti siasinoman a tattao ti Juda iti entero a daga ti Egipto, dakayo nga agkunkuna ita, “Iti nagan ni Yahweh nga adda iti agnanayon.”
Therefore heare the word of the Lord, all Iudah that dwel in the land of Egypt. Beholde, I haue sworne by my great Name, sayeth the Lord, that my Name shall no more be called vpon by the mouth of any man of Iudah, in all the lande of Egypt, saying, The Lord God liueth.
27 Dumngegkayo, buybuyaek ida para iti pannakadidigra a saan ket a para iti pagsayaatan. Mapukawto ti tunggal tao ti Juda nga adda iti daga ti Egipto babaen iti kampilan ken panagbisin agingga a mapukawda amin.
Behold, I wil watch ouer them for euil and not for good, and all men of Iudah that are in the land of Egypt, shalbe consumed by the sword, and by the famine, vntill they be vtterly destroied.
28 Ket agsublinto dagiti nakalasat iti kampilan iti daga ti Juda manipud iti daga ti Egipto, bassitdanto laeng. Isu a maammoanto dagiti amin a nabatbati iti Juda a napan nagnaed iti daga ti Egipto no siasino ti akin-sao iti pumudno: ti imbagak wenno ti imbagada.
Yet a small nomber that escape the sworde, shall returne out of the lande of Egypt into the lande of Iudah: and all the remnant of Iudah that are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words shall stad, mine or theirs.
29 Daytoyto ti pagilasinanyo—daytoy ket pakaammo ni Yahweh—a dusaenkayo iti daytoy a lugar, tapno maammoanyo a pudno a rautendakayonto dagiti sasaok babaen kadagiti didigra.'
And this shall be a signe vnto you, saith the Lord, whe I visit you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for euill.
30 Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh, 'Dumngegkayo, dandanin ti panangiyawatko kenni Faraon Hofra nga ari ti Egipto kadagiti kabusorna ken kadagiti mangganggandat a mangkettel iti biagna. Daytoy ket kaslanto iti panangiyawatko kenni Zedekias nga ari ti Juda kenni Nebucadnesar nga ari ti Babilonia a kabusorna a nanggandat iti biagna.”'
Thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, I will giue Pharaoh Hophra King of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seeke his life: as I gaue Zedekiah King of Iudah into the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel his enemie, who also sought his life.
