< Isaias 59 >
1 Kitaenyo! Dakayo nga Israelita, saan a naababa ti ima ni Yahweh tapno saan a makaisalakan; wenno saan a tuleng ti lapayagna tapno saan a makangngeg.
Lo! the hand of Yahweh is not too short to save, —Neither is his ear too heavy to hear.
2 Nupay kasta, ti kinamanagbasolyo nga Israelita ket isu ti nangisina kadakayo manipud iti Diosyo, ken gapu kadagiti basolyo ket tinallikudannakayo ken saannakayo a dinengngeg.
But, your iniquities, have become separators betwixt you and your God, And your sins, have caused a hiding of face from you that he should-not hear.
3 Ta dagiti imayo ket namantsaan iti dara kasta met dagiti ramayyo ket namantsaan iti basol. Agsasao dagiti bibigyo iti inuulbod ken agkakadakes ti ibalbalikas ti dilayo.
For, your hands, are defiled with blood, And, your fingers, with iniquity, —Your lips, have spoken falsehood, and Your tongue, muttereth, perversity.
4 Awan iti agar-aramid iti nalinteg, ken awan iti mangikalkalintegan iti kasasaadna iti kinapudno. Agtaltalekda iti ubbaw a sasao, ken inuulbod ti ibagbagada; isikogda ti riribuk ket impasngayda ti basol.
None, sueth in righteousness, and None, pleadeth in faithfulness, —Men are trusting in confusion, And speaking vanity, Conceiving wickedness And bringing forth iniquity:
5 Pagpissaenda dagiti itlog ti nagita nga uleg ken lagaenda ti sapot ti lawwalawwa. Siasinoman a mangan kadagiti itlogda ket matay, ken no adda mabittak nga itlog, rummuar ti nagita nga uleg.
Viper’s eggs, do they hatch, Spider’s threads, do they weave, —He that eateth of their eggs, dieth, And, that which is crushed, bringeth forth an adder;
6 Saan a mabalin nga aramiden a lupot dagiti sapotda, ken saanda a mabalin a lengdan dagiti bagbagida kadagiti trabahoda. Dagiti trabahoda ket trabaho ti kinadakes, ken aramid ti kinaranggas ti adda kadagiti imada.
Their threads, shall not become a garment, Neither shall they cover themselves with their fabrics, —Their fabrics, are fabrics of iniquity, Yea the product of violence is in their hands;
7 Tartarayenda ti kinadakes, ket agtarayda tapno mangpasayasayda iti dara iti awan basolna. Dagiti kapanunotanda ket dakes a kapanunotan; kinaranggas ken pannakadadael ti pagpagnaanda a kalsada.
Their feet, to mischief, do run, And they speed to shed innocent blood, —Their devices, are devices of iniquity, Wasting and destruction, are in their high roads;
8 Saanda nga ammo ti dalan ti kappia, ken awan iti hustisia kadagiti dalanda. Nagaramidda kadagiti killo a dalan; siasinoman nga agdaliasat kadagitoy a dalan ket saanna nga ammo ti kappia.
the way of well-being, have they not known, And there is no justice in their tracks, —Their paths, have they made crooked for themselves, None who treadeth therein knoweth well—being.
9 Isu nga adayo kadakami ti hustisia, uray ti kinalinteg ket saan a dimmanon kadakami. Agur-uraykami iti lawag, ngem kinasipnget ti makitami; sapsapulenmi ti kinaraniag, ngem magmagnakami iti kasipngetan.
For this cause, hath justice removed far from us, And righteousness overtaketh us not, —We wait for light, But lo! darkness, For brightness, In thick darkness, we walk:
10 Ar-arikapenmi ti pader a kas iti bulsek, kas kadagiti saan a makakita. Maitubtublakkami iti tengnga ti aldaw nga arigna't sumipngeten; kadagiti napipigsa, kasla kami la natay a tattao.
We grope, as blind men for a wall, Yea, as men without eyes, do we grope, —We have stumbled at broad noon as though it were twilight, In desolate places like the dead!
11 Agngerngerngerkami a kas kadagiti oso ken umas-asugkami a kas kadagiti kalapati; agur-uraykami para iti hustisia, ngem awan; agur-uraykami iti mangispal, ngem adayo daytoy kadakami.
We growl like bears all of us, And, like doves, do we, mournfully coo, —We wait For justice, and there is none, For salvation it is far from us!
12 Ta dagiti adu a nagbasolanmi ket adda iti sangoanam, ken mangpaneknek dagiti basolmi maibusor kadakami; ta nagbasolkami, ket bigbigenmi dagiti basbasolmi.
For our transgressions have multiplied before thee, And, our sins, have witnessed against us, —For, our transgressions, are with us, And as for our iniquities, we acknowledge them:
13 Nagsukirkami, inliblibakmi ni Yahweh ken immadayokami iti panangsurot iti Diosmi. Nangidadaneskami iti panagsaomi ket pasig nga ulbod ti adda iti pusomi ket inuulbod dagiti sasaomi.
Transgressing, and denying Yahweh, And turning away from following our God, —Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving, and muttering from the heart, words of falsehood.
14 Nabaliktad ti hustisia, ket adayo ti ayan iti kinalinteg; ta naitublak ti kinapudno iti paguummongan a disso, ket saan a makagteng ti husto.
So then there hath been a driving back of justice, And righteousness, afar off, standeth, —For truth, hath stumbled in the broad-way, And, right, cannot enter;
15 Napukawen ti kinamatalek, ken ti tao a nagsardengen nga agar-aramid iti dakes ket pinagbalinna a biktima ti bagina. Nakita ni Yahweh daytoy ket saan isuna a naragsakan nga awan iti hustisia.
And the truth hath been found missing, And he that hath turned away from wrong is liable to be despoiled, And when, Yahweh, looked, Then was it grievous in his eyes that there was no justice:
16 Nakita ni Yahweh nga awan ti uray maysa a tao a timmulong ket nasdaaw isuna. Ngarud, isuna a mismo ti nangisalakan kenkuana, ket pinagballigi isuna iti kinalintegna.
When he saw that there was no mighty man, Then was he astonished that there was none to interpose, —So his own arm brought him salvation, And his own righteousness, the same, upheld him;
17 Insuotna ti kinalinteg a kas kabal ken inkabilna iti ulona ti helmet ti pannakaisalakan. Kinawesanna ti bagina kadagiti pagan-anay iti panagibales ken insuotna ti tatak a kas iti maysa a nagayad a lupot.
And he put on Righteousness as a coat of mail, And a helmet of victory upon his head, —And he put on the garments of avenging, for clothing, And wrapped about him as a cloak—jealousy,
18 Sinupapakanna ida segun iti inaramidda, naunget a panangikeddeng kadagiti kabusorna, panangibales kadagiti kabusorna, ti pannakadusa kadagiti isla a kas gunggonada.
According to their deeds, accordingly, will he repay, Indignation to his adversaries, Recompense to his enemies, —To the Coastlands—recompense, will he repay:
19 Isu nga agbutengdanto iti nagan ni Yahweh manipud iti laud, ken iti dayagna manipud iti pagsingsingisingan ti init; ta umayto isuna a kasla iti napegges a waig, nga iturturong ti anges ni Yahweh.
That they may revere—From the West the name of Yahweh, And from the Rising of the Sun his glory, For he will come in like a rushing stream, the breath of Yahweh, driving it on;
20 “Umayto ti mannubbot idiay Sion ken umayto isuna para kadagiti kaputotan ni Jacob a nangtallikud kadagiti kinasukirda — kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.
So shall come in for Zion, a Redeemer, Even for such as are turning from transgression in Jacob, —Declareth Yahweh.
21 Ket para kaniak, daytoy ti katulagak kadakuada — kuna ni Yahweh — ti espirituk nga adda kadakayo, ken dagiti sasaok nga inkabilko kadagiti ngiwatyo, ket saanto a maikkat kadagiti ngiwatyo wenno rummuar manipud kadagiti ngiwat dagiti annakyo, wenno rummuar manipud kadagiti ngiwat ti appokoyo manipud ita ken iti agnanayon, kuna ni Yahweh.”
And as for me, this, shall be my covenant with them, Saith Yahweh: My spirit that is upon thee, And my words which I have put in thy mouth, —Shall not be taken out of thy mouth—Nor out of the mouth of thy seed. Nor out of the mouth of thy seeds seed, Saith Yahweh, From henceforth even unto times age-abiding.
