< Isaias 26 >
1 Iti dayta nga aldaw, maikantanto daytoy a kanta iti daga ti Juda: Addaankami iti natibker a siudad; inaramid ti Dios a pakaisalakanan dagiti pader ken dagiti sarikedked daytoy.
In that day, shall be sung this song, in the land of Judah, —A strong city, have we! Salvation, will he set for walls and rampart,
2 Lukatanyo dagiti ruangan, tapno makastrek ti nalinteg a nasion a mangsalsalimetmet iti pammati.
Open ye the gates, —That there may enter in—a righteous nation preserving fidelity.
3 Ti panunot a sitatalinaed kenka, ket pagtalinaedemto ti naan-anay a kinatalnana, ta agtaltalek daytoy kenka.
A purpose sustained, thou wilt guard, [saying], Prosper! Prosper! Because in thee, hath he been led to trust.
4 Agtalekka kenni Yahweh iti agnanayon; ta kenni Yah, ni Yahweh ket agnanayon a dakkel a bato.
Trust ye in Yahweh, unto futurity, —For, in Yah, Yahweh, is a rock of ages.
5 Ta ipababananto dagiti agbibiag a sipapalangguad, ipababananto ti nasarikedkedan a siudad, rebbaennanto daytoy a naan-anay iti daga; ipatadnanto daytoy iti tapuk.
For he hath brought down the inhabitants of the height the city exalted, —He layeth it low, Layeth it low even to the ground, Levelleth it, even to the dust:
6 Ipayatpayatto dagiti napanglaw ken ibaddebaddekto dagiti marigrigat.
The foot trampleth it, —The feet of the lowly, The steps of the weak,
7 Patad ti dalan dagiti nalinteg, O Apo a Nalinteg; palpalintegem ti dalan dagiti nalinteg.
The path of a righteous man, is, even, —O Upright One! the track of a righteous man, thou makest level.
8 Wen iti wagas ti panangukommo, O Yahweh, urayendaka; ti nagan ken kinasin-awmo ti tarigagaymi.
Surely in the path of thy regulations, O Yahweh, we waited for thee, —Unto thy Name and unto thy Memorial, was there a longing of soul:
9 Iti rabii, sapsapulenka; wen, sigagagar a birbirukennaka toy espirituk. Ta inton dumteng dagiti panangukommo ditoy daga, sursuroento dagiti agnanaed iti daga ti maipapan iti kinalinteg.
With my soul, longed I for thee in the night, Yea with my spirit within me, I kept on searching for thee, —For, when thy regulations [extend] to the earth, The inhabitants of the world will have learned, righteousness.
10 Uray mapakitaan iti asi ti nadangkes, saannanto a masursuro ti kinalinteg. Iti daga ti kinalinteg, dakes ti ar-aramidenna ket saanna a makita ti kinatan-ok ni Yahweh.
Let favour be shewed to the lawless, he hath not learned righteousness, In a land of honest dealings, he acteth perversely, —And seeth not the splendour of Yahweh.
11 Yahweh, nakatag-ay ta imam, ngem saanda a makita. Ngem makitadanto ti kinagagarmo a mangbendision kadagiti tattao ket maibabaindanto, gapu ta alun-onento ida ti apuy dagiti kabusormo.
O Yahweh though thy hand be lifted up, —yet do they not see, Would they might see—and turn pale at a people’s zeal, —Surely, the fire of thine enemies, must consume them!
12 O Yahweh, talna koma ti iyegmo kadakami; ta pudno a lineppasmo met para kadakami dagiti amin a trabahomi.
O Yahweh, thou wilt ensure prosperity for us, —For even all our works, hast thou wrought for us,
13 O Yahweh a Diosmi, inturayandakami dagiti dadduma nga apo malaksid kenka; ngem ti naganmo laeng ti idaydayawmi.
O Yahweh, our God! Lords other than thee, have owned us, —By thyself alone, will we call upon thy Name.
14 Natayda, saandanto nga agbiag; natayda, saandanto a bumangon. Pudno unay, dimtengka a mangukom ken dinadaelmo ida, ket pinukawmo ti tunggal pakalaglagipan kadakuada.
The dead, come not to life again, The shades, do not arise, —Therefore, thou hast visited and destroyed them, And caused to perish every memorial of them.
15 Pinadakkelmo ti nasion, O Yahweh, pinadakkelmo ti nasion; naidayawka; pinalawam ti amin a masakupan ti daga.
Thou hast increased the nation, O Yahweh, Thou hast increased the nation thou hast gotten thyself glory, Thou hast extended far, all the ends of the land.
16 Yahweh, iti tiempo ti riribuk, kimmitada kenka; nagiyebkasda pay kadagiti orasion a maibusor iti dakes idi dinisiplinaam ida.
O Yahweh! in distress, they sought thee, —They poured out a whispered prayer, when thy chastening was upon them.
17 Kas iti masikog nga umadanin nga agpasngay, agpasikal isuna ket agriaw iti panagpasikalna; kasta met ti napasaranmi iti sangoanam, Apo.
Like as a woman with child—Draweth near to giving birth, Is in pain, Crieth out in her pangs So, were we before thee, O Yahweh; —
18 Nagsikogkami, nagpasikalkami, ngem kasla la naganakkami laeng iti angin. Saankami a nangyeg iti pannakaisalakan ditoy daga, ket saan a natnag dagiti agbibiag iti lubong.
We were with child—We were in pain, As it were we brought forth wind, —Salvation, we could not accomplish for the earth, Neither were born the inhabitants of the world.
19 Agbiagto dagiti minatayyo, bumangonto dagiti minataymi. Agriingkayo ket agkantakayo gapu iti rag-o, dakayo nga adda iti tapuk; gapu ta ti linnaawyo ket ti linnaw dagiti ruot, ket agungarto manen dagiti natay manipud iti daga.
Thy dead, shall come to life again, My dead body, they shall arise, —Awake and shout for joy, ye that dwell in the dust For, a dew of light, is thy dew, And, earth, to the shades shall give birth.
20 Mapankayo, tattaok, sumrekkayo kadagiti siledyo ket iserrayo dagiti ridaw iti likudanyo; aglemmengkayo pay laeng, agingga nga agbaaw ti pungtot ni Yahweh.
Come my people, enter into thy chambers, And shut thy doors behind thee, —Hide thee as it were a little moment Till the indignation pass over.
21 Ta, kitaenyo, umadanin a rummuar ni Yahweh iti ayanna a mangdusa kadagiti agbibiag iti daga gapu kadagiti basolda; ikkatento ti daga ti naiyabbong iti nagsayasay a dara iti daga, ket saanton a mailemmeng ti daga dagiti napapatay nga adda iti daytoy.
For lo! Yahweh, is coming forth out of his place, To visit the iniquity of earth’s inhabitant upon him, —Therefore shall the earth unveil her shed-blood, And throw a covering, no longer over her slain.
