< Dagiti Aramid 5 >
1 Ita, adda lalaki a managan Ananias, kaduana ni Safira nga asawana, nangilakoda iti paset ti sanikuada,
But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 ket nangidulin isuna iti paset ti naglakoanna (ammo met ti asawana daytoy), ken inyegna dagiti dadduma a paset daytoy ket indatagna iti sakaanan dagiti apostol.
and kept back part of the price, his wife also having knowledge of it; and brought a certain part, and laid it at the feet of the apostles.
3 Ngem kinuna ni Pedro, “Ananias, apay nga intulokmo nga iturayan ni Satanas dayta pusom ket pinagulbodam ti Espiritu Santo ken nangidulinka iti paset ti naglakoam?
But Peter said, Ananias, why did Satan fill thy heart that thou shouldst lie to the Holy Spirit, and keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Idi saanmo pay a nailako daytoy, saankadi a sika met iti makinkukua? Ket idi nailakon, saan kadi a sika met laeng iti makaammo? Apay ngarud a napanunotmo daytoy a banag? Saan a kadagiti tattao iti nagulbodam, no di ket iti Dios.
While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why didst thou conceive this thing in thy heart? Thou didst not lie to men, but to God.
5 Idi nangngegna dagitoy a sasao, natuang ni Ananias ket inyangesna ti maudi nga angesna. Ket kasta unay iti panagbuteng dagiti amin a nakangngeg iti daytoy.
And Ananias, hearing these words, fell down, and expired. And great fear came on all that heard of it.
6 Immay iti sangoanan dagiti agtutubo a lallaki ket binungonda isuna, ket binagkatda isuna nga inruar ket intanemda isuna.
And the young men arose, and wrapt him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
7 Kalpasan iti agarup tallo nga oras, simrek ti asawana, a dina ammo no ania iti napasamak.
And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.
8 Kinuna ni Pedro kenkuana, “Ibagam kaniak no kastoy laeng a gatad ti naglakoanyo iti daga.” Kinunana, “Wen, kasta laeng.”
Peter said to her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much. And she said, Yes, for so much.
9 Ket kinuna ni Pedro kenkuana, “Apay met ta nagkaykaysakayo a mangsuot iti Espiritu ti Apo? Kitaem, addan iti ruangan dagiti saksaka dagiti nangitanem ti asawam, ket bagkatendakanto nga iruar.”
And Peter said to her, Why is it that ye agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? Lo! the feet of those who have buried thy husband are at the door, and they will carry thee out.
10 Dagus a natuang isuna iti sakaanan ni Pedro, ket inyangesna ti maudi nga angesna, ket simrek dagiti agtutubo a lallaki ket nasarakanda isuna a natay; binagkatda isuna nga inruar ket intanemda iti abay ti asawana.
And she fell down immediately at his feet, and expired; and the young men, when they came in, found her dead, and carried her out, and buried her by her husband.
11 Nakaro a buteng ti immay iti sibubukel nga iglesia, ken kadagiti amin a nakangngeg kadagitoy a banbanag.
And great fear came upon all the church, and upon all that heard of these things.
12 Adu a pagilasinan ken nakaskasdaaw iti mapaspasamak kadagiti tattao babaen kadagiti ima dagiti apostol. Naummongda amin iti pasilio ni Solomon.
And many signs and wonders were wrought among the people by the hands of the apostles; and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
13 Ngem awan pulos ti nakaitured a maitipon kadakuada; nu pay kasta, rinaraem ida dagiti tattao.
But of the rest no one dared to join himself to them. But the people highly honored them;
14 Adda latta dagiti namati a mainaynayon a mamati iti Apo, adu a lallaki ken babbai,
and more and more were believers added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women;
15 ket uray da la ibagkat nga ipan kadagiti kalsada dagiti masakit ken ipaiddada ida kadagiti papag ken ikamen, tapno iti ilalabas ni Pedro ket mabalin a maibatog ti anniniwanna iti dadduma kadakuada.
so that in the streets they brought out the sick, and laid them on beds and couches, in order that at least the shadow of Peter, as he passed, might overshadow some of them.
16 Adda met naummong a dakkel a bilang dagiti tattao a nagtaud kadagiti il-ili iti aglawlaw ti Jerusalem, a nangiyeg kadagiti masakit ken dagiti parparigaten iti narugit nga espiritu, ket immimbagda amin.
The multitude also belonging to the cities around came together to Jerusalem bringing the sick, and those plagued by unclean spirits; and they were all healed.
17 Ngem timmakder ti kangatoan a padi, ken amin dagiti kakaduana (nga isu ti sekta dagiti Saduceo); ket napnoanda iti apal
But the high-priest and all that were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees, rose up and were filled with indignation,
18 ket tiniliwda dagiti apostol, ken inkabilda ida iti pampubliko a pagbaludan.
and laid hands on the apostles, and put them in the public prison.
19 Nupay kasta, iti rabii, adda anghel ti Dios a nangilukat iti ruangan ti pagbaludan ket indalanna ida a rimmuar, ket kinunana,
But an angel of the Lord in the night opened the prison-doors, and brought them forth and said,
20 “Mapankayo agtakder idiay templo ket ibagayo kadagiti tattao dagiti amin a sasao iti daytoy a Biag.”
Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
21 Idi nangngeganda daytoy, simrekda iti templo idi ngannganin aglawag ket nagisuroda. Ngem immay ti kangatoan a padi, ken dagiti kakaduana, ket inummongna ti konseho, dagiti amin a panglakayen dagiti tattao ti Israel, ket nangibaon idiay pagbaludan tapno maiyeg dagiti apostol.
And hearing this, they went into the temple at daybreak and taught. But the high-priest and they that were with him came and called together the council, and all the elders of the sons of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
22 Ngem saan ida a nasarakan dagiti opisyal a napan iti pagbaludan, ket nagsublida ken impadamagda,
But the officers that came did not find them in the prison; and they returned and brought word,
23 “Nasarakanmi a natalged ti pannakairikep ti pagbaludan ken sitatakder dagiti guardia iti ruangan, ngem idi linukatanmi daytoy, awan uray maysa a nasarakanmi iti uneg.”
saying, The prison we found shut in all security and the keepers standing at the doors: but when we opened them, we found no one within.
24 Ita, idi nangngeg ti kapitan iti templo ken dagiti panguloen a papadi dagitoy a sasao, kasta unay ti siddaawda maipapan iti mabalin a napasamak kadakuada.
And when the priest, and the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were at a loss concerning them, to what this would come.
25 Kalpasanna, adda immay nangibaga kadakuada, “Dagiti lallaki nga inkabilyo iti pagbaludan ket nakatakderda idiay templo ken mangisursuroda kadagiti tattao.”
But one came and brought them word, Lo! the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people.
26 Isu a napan ti kapitan a kaduana dagiti opisyal ket inyegda ida nga insubli, ngem awan iti nadangran, ta nagbutengda nga amangan no batoen ida dagiti tattao.
Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence, that they might not be stoned; for they feared the people.
27 Idi naiyegdan ida, inkabilda ida iti sangoanan ti konseho. Pinalutpot ida ti kangatoan a padi, a
And having brought them, they set them before the council. And the high-priest questioned them,
28 kunana, “Naingetmi nga imbilin kadakayo a saanyo nga isuro ti maipanggep iti daytoy a nagan, ngem ita, pinunnoyo ti Jerusalem iti sursuroyo, ken tarigagayyo nga ipabaklay kadakami ti pannakatay daytoy a lalaki.”
saying, We strictly commanded you not to teach in this name, and lo! ye have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and mean to bring this man's blood upon us.
29 Ngem simmungbat ni Pedro ken dagiti apostol, “Masapul nga agtulnogkami iti Dios a saan ket a kadagiti tattao.
But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
30 Ti Dios dagiti ammami, pinagungarna ni Jesus a pinapatayyo babaen iti panangibitinyo iti kayo.
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew by hanging him on a cross;
31 Intan-ok isuna ti Dios iti makannawan nga imana tapno agbalin a prinsipe ken mannangisalakan, a mangted iti panagbabawi iti Israel, ken iti pannakapakawan dagiti basbasol.
him hath God exalted by his right hand, as a Leader and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 Mapaneknekanmi dagitoy a banbanag, ken kasta met ti Espiritu Santo, nga inted ti Dios kadagiti agtulnog kenkuana.”
And we are his witnesses of these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit which God hath given to those who obey him.
33 Idi nangngegan dagiti kameng ti konseho daytoy, nakaungetda ket kayatda a papatayen dagiti apostol.
But when they heard this, they were filled with rage, and were resolving to kill them.
34 Ngem ti Pariseo a managan Gamaliel, maysa a mangisursuro iti linteg, a raraemen dagiti amin a tattao, timmakder ken imbilinna a mairuar pay laeng dagiti apostol.
But there stood up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, in high esteem with all the people, and commanded to put the men forth a little while,
35 Ket kinunana kadakuada, “Lallaki iti Israel, kitaenyo a naimbag no ania iti isingasingyo nga aramiden kadagitoy a tattao.
and said to them [[of the council]], Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves as to what ye are about to do in respect to these men.
36 Ta iti naglabas a tiempo, timmaud ni Teudas a nagpammarang nga isuna ket mabigbigbig, ken agarup uppat a gasut a lallaki iti timmipon kenkuana. Napapatay isuna, ket amin a nagtultulnog kenkuana, nawarawarada ken awan nagbanaganda.
For before these days arose Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and came to nought.
37 Kalpasan iti daytoy a lalaki, timmaud ni Judas a taga-Galilea idi panawen ti sensus ket adda met dagiti sumagmamano a tattao a simmurot kenkuana. Natay met isuna, ket nawarawara dagiti amin a nagtultulnog kenkuana.
After this man arose Judas the Galilaean, in the days of the registering, and drew people away after him; he also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.
38 Ita, ibagak kadakayo, adaywanyo dagitoy a lallaki ket baybay-anyo ida, ta no daytoy a panggep wenno aramid ket nagtaud kadagiti tattao, maparmekto daytoy.
And now I say to you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone; for if this design or this work be of men, it will come to nought;
39 Ngem no daytoy ket nagtaud iti Dios, diyonto kabaelan a parmeken ida; mabalin pay ketdi a masarakanyo a busbusorenyo ti Dios.” Iti kasta ket naallukoyda.
but if it be of God, ye will not be able to overthrow them; lest haply ye be found also fighting against God.
40 Ket pinaayabanda dagiti apostol iti uneg ket kinabilda ida ken binilinda ida a saanda nga agsasao iti maipanggep iti nagan ni Jesus, ket pinalubosanda ida a pumanaw.
And they were persuaded by him; and having called the apostles, they beat them, and commanded them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and released them.
41 Pinanawanda ti konseho a siragragsak ta naibilangda a maikari nga agsagaba iti pannakababain para iti Nagan.
They therefore went away from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame in behalf of that name;
42 Manipud idi iti tunggal aldaw, idiay templo ken iti tunggal balay, intultuloyda nga insursuro ken inkaskasaba a ni Jesus ket isu iti Cristo.
and every day, in the temple, and in houses, they ceased not to teach, and to publish the glad tidings concerning Jesus the Christ.
