< 1 Timoteo 6 >

1 Ibilang koma dagiti adda iti babaen ti sangol ti pannakatagabu dagiti amoda a dagitoy ket maikari iti amin a panangdayaw. Masapul nga aramidenda daytoy tapno ti nagan ti Dios ken ti sursuro ket saan koma a matabbaawan.
All who are in the position of slaves should regard their masters as deserving of the greatest respect, so that the Name of God, and our Teaching, may not be maligned.
2 Dagiti tagabu nga addaan namati nga amo ket masapul a raemenda dagiti amoda, gapu ta agkakabsatda ken ad-adda pay koma ti panagserbida kadakuada. Ta dagiti amo a natulongan babaen iti trabahoda ket namati ken maay-ayat. Isuro ken iwaragawagmo dagitoy a banbanag.
Those who have Christian masters should not think less of them because they are their Brothers, but on the contrary they should serve them all the better, because those who are to benefit by their good work are dear to them as their fellow Christians.
3 Nu bilang ta ti maysa a tao ket agisuro iti naidumduma ken saanna nga awaten iti pudno nga annurotentayo, dayta ket dagiti sasao ti Apo tayo a ni Jesu-Cristo, ken nu bilang ta saanda nga awaten ti sursuro a mangiturong iti nadiosan a panagbiag,
Any one who teaches otherwise, and refuses his assent to sound instruction — the instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ — and to the teaching of religion,
4 dayta a tao ket napannakkel ken awan ammona. Ngem ketdi, sakitna ti makisinnuppiat ken makisinnungbat maipanggep kadagiti sasao. Dagitoy a sasao ket agbanag iti apal, panagaapa, sao a mangipaay iti sakit ti nakem, dakes nga atap, ken
is puffed up with conceit, not really knowing anything, but having a morbid craving for discussions and arguments. Such things only give rise to envy, quarrelling, recriminations, base suspicions,
5 iti agtultuloy a saan a panagkikinnaawatan dagiti tattao nga addaan iti rinukir a panunot. Tallikudanda ti kinapudno. Ipagarupda a ti nadiosan a panagbiag ket maysa a wagas tapno agbalin a baknang.
and incessant wrangling on the part of these corrupt-minded people who have lost all hold on the Truth, and who think of religion only as a source of gain.
6 Ita, ti nadiosan a panagbiag nga addaan iti pannakapnek ket dakkel a gunggona.
And a great source of gain religion is, when it brings contentment with it!
7 Ta awan ti inyegtayo ditoy lubong. Kasta met a saantayo a makaitugot iti uray ania.
For we brought nothing into the world, because we cannot even carry anything out of it.
8 Ngem ketdi, mapnektayo koma iti makan ken pagan-anay.
So, with food and shelter, we will be content.
9 Ita, kadagidiay kayatna ti agbalin a nabaknang, matnagda iti sulisog, iti palab-og. Matnagda iti adu a minamaag ken napeggad a tarigagay, ken iti aniaman a makairarem kadagiti tattao iti pannakaperdi ken pannakadadael.
Those who want to be rich fall into the snares of temptation, and become the prey of many foolish and harmful ambitions, which plunge people into Destruction and Ruin.
10 Ta ti panagayat iti kuarta ket isu ti ramot iti amin a kita ti kinadakes. Dadduma a tattao nga agtarigagay iti daytoy ket nagtagawataw manipud iti pammati ken dinuyokda iti bagbagida iti napalalo a ladingit.
Love of money is a source of all kinds of evil; and in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the Faith, and have been pierced to the heart by many a regret.
11 Ngem sika, tao ti Dios, umadayoka manipud kadagitoy a banbanag. Gun-odem ti kinalinteg, nadiosan a panagbiag, kinapudno, ayat, panagibtur ken kinaalumamay.
But do you, Servant of God, avoid all this. Aim at righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
12 Makirangetka iti nasayaat a ranget ti pammati. Salimetmetam ti biag nga agnanayon nga isu ti nakaayabam. Maipanggep iti daytoy a nangtedka iti pammaneknek iti sangoanan dagiti adu a saksi, no ania ti nasayaat. (aiōnios g166)
Run the great race of the Faith, and win the Immortal Life. It was for this that you received the Call, and, in the presence of many witnesses, made the great profession of Faith. (aiōnios g166)
13 Itedko kenka daytoy a bilin iti sangoanan ti Dios, isu a mamagbiag iti amin a banbanag, ken iti sangoanan ni Cristo Jesus, nga isu a nagsao iti pudno iti sangoanan ni Pontio Pilato:
I urge you, as in the sight of God, the source of all life, and of Christ Jesus who before Pontius Pilate made the great profession of Faith —
14 idulinmo nga awan pagkuranganna dagiti bilin, nga awan pakababalawanna, agingga iti panagparang ni Apo tayo a ni Jesu-Cristo.
I urge you to keep his Command free from stain or reproach, until the Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Ipakaammonto ti Dios ti panagparangna iti umno a tiempo - ti Dios nga Ayan ti Bendision, ti isu laeng a pannakabalin, ti Ari nga agar-ari, ti Apo nga agturturay.
This will be brought about in his own time by the one ever-blessed Potentate, the King of all kings and Lord of all lords,
16 Isuna laeng iti saan a matay ken agnanaed iti saan a maasitgan a silaw. Awan tao a makakita kenkuana wenno makabael a mangbuya kenkuana. Kenkuana iti dayaw ken agnanayon a pannakabalin. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
who alone is possessed of immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has ever seen or ever can see — to whom be ascribed honour and power for ever. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Ibagam kadagiti baknang ditoy lubong a saanda nga agpasindayag, ken saanda a mangnamnama kadagiti kinabaknang, a saan a pakasiguradoan. Ngem ketdi, rumbeng a mangnamnamada iti Dios. Ipapaayna kadatayo ti amin a pudno a kinabaknang nga intay ragragsaken. (aiōn g165)
Urge upon those who are wealthy in this life not to pride themselves, or fix their hopes, on so uncertain a thing as wealth, but on God, who gives us a wealth of enjoyment on every side. (aiōn g165)
18 Ibagam kadakuada nga agaramidda iti nasayaat, a bumaknangda kadagiti nasayaat nga aramid, a managparabur ken situtulokda a mangibingay.
Urge upon them to show kindness, to exhibit a wealth of good actions, to be open-handed and generous,
19 Iti kasta, maka-urnongdanto para bagbagida iti nasayaat a pundasion iti masakbayan, tapno salimetmetanda ti pudpudno a biag.
storing up for themselves what in the future will prove to be a good foundation, that they may gain the only true Life.
20 Timoteo, salaknibam no ania iti naited kenka. Liklikam ti minamaag a sarita ken saan nga agtutunos a sarita a biddut a naawagan iti pannakaammmo.
Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the profane prattle and contradictions of what some miscall ‘theology,’
21 Adda dagiti lallaki a mangiwarwaragawag kadagitoy a banbanag ket isu a simminada iti pammati. Maadda koma ti parabur kadakayo.
for there are those who, while asserting their proficiency in it, have yet, as regards the Faith, gone altogether astray. God bless you all.
