Abụ Ọma 97
1 Onyenwe anyị bụ eze, ka ụwa niile nwee obi ụtọ; ka ndị niile bi nʼebe dị anya ṅụrịa.
The Lord reigneth: let the earth reioyce: let the multitude of the yles be glad.
2 Igwe ojii na oke ọchịchịrị gbara ya gburugburu; ezi omume na ikpe ziri ezi bụ ntọala ocheeze ya.
Cloudes and darkenes are round about him: righteousnesse and iudgement are the foundation of his throne.
3 Ọkụ na-enwu enwu na-aga nʼihu ya ọ na-erepịasị ndị iro ya nʼakụkụ ya ọbụla.
There shall goe a fire before him, and burne vp his enemies round about.
4 Amụma ya na-acha chazuo elu ụwa niile; ụwa niile na-ahụ ya na-ama jijiji.
His lightnings gaue light vnto the worlde: the earth sawe it and was afraide.
5 Ugwu niile na-agbaze dịka mmanụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, nʼihu Onyenwe ụwa niile.
The mountaines melted like waxe at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 Eluigwe na-ekwuwapụta ezi omume ya; ndị niile bi nʼụwa na-ahụkwa ebube ya.
The heauens declare his righteousnes, and all the people see his glory.
7 A na-eme ka ihere mee ndị niile na-efe arụsị niile a pịrị apị ofufe, ndị na-anya isi na chi niile e jiri aka mee feenụ ya ofufe, unu chi niile!
Confounded be all they that serue grauen images, and that glory in idoles: worship him all ye gods.
8 Zayọn na-anụ ma na-aṅụrịkwa ọṅụ, obodo nta niile nke Juda na-enwekwa obi ụtọ nʼihi ikpe gị, O Onyenwe anyị.
Zion heard of it, and was glad: and the daughters of Iudah reioyced, because of thy iudgements, O Lord.
9 Nʼihi na gị, O Onyenwe anyị, bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu nʼụwa niile; ị bụ onye e buliri elu karịa chi ndị ọzọ niile.
For thou, Lord, art most High aboue all the earth: thou art much exalted aboue all gods.
10 Ka unu, ndị hụrụ Onyenwe anyị nʼanya, kpọọ ihe ọjọọ asị, nʼihi na ọ na-echebe ndụ ndị nke ya, ndị tụkwasịrị ya obi ma na-anapụtakwa ha site nʼaka ndị ajọ omume.
Ye that loue the Lord, hate euill: he preserueth the soules of his Saints: hee will deliuer them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Ìhè na-amụkwasị onye ezi omume, ọṅụ na-adịkwa nʼime obi onye na-eme ihe ziri ezi.
Light is sowen for the righteous, and ioy for the vpright in heart.
12 Ṅụrịanụ ọṅụ nʼime Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị ezi omume, tookwanụ aha nsọ ya.
Reioyce ye righteous in the Lord, and giue thankes for his holy remembrance.
