1 Abụ Ọma Devid. Ụwa na ihe niile dị nʼime ya bụ nke Onyenwe anyị; ụwa na ndị niile bi nʼime ya.
David’s. A Melody. To Yahweh, belongeth, The earth and the fulness thereof, The world, and they who dwell therein;
2 Ọ tọrọ ntọala ya nʼime oke osimiri niile, o mekwara ka o guzosie ike.
For, he, upon the seas, hath founded it, and upon the currents, doth make it firm.
3 Onye bụ onye ahụ nwere ike irigo nʼelu ugwu Onyenwe anyị? Onye nwere ike ịbata guzo nʼime ụlọnsọ ya?
Who shall ascend the mountain of Yahweh? And who shall stand in his holy place?
4 Ọ bụ onye aka ya emeghị ihe ọjọọ, obi ya dịkwa ọcha, onye na-adịghị atụkwasị obi na chi arụsị, maọbụ ṅụọ iyi aghụghọ.
The clean of hands, and pure of heart, —who hath not uplifted, to falsehood, his soul, nor sworn deceitfully,
5 Ha ga-anata ngọzị site nʼaka Onyenwe anyị, natakwa mkpepụta site nʼaka Chineke Onye nzọpụta ha.
Shall bear away a blessing from Yahweh, and righteousness, from his delivering God.
6 Otu a ka ọ ga-adịrị ọgbọ ndị ya, bụ ndị na-achọ ihu gị, Chineke nke Jekọb. (Sela)
This, is the generation of them who inquire of him, who seek thy face, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
7 Welitenụ isi unu, unu ọnụ ụzọ ama, meenụ ka isi unu bụrụ ihe e welitere, unu ọnụ ụzọ ama ochie, ka eze ebube nwee ike ịbata.
Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, and lift yourselves up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.
8 Onye bụ eze ebube a? Ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị, onye bụ dimkpa na dike. Ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị, onye bụ dike nʼagha.
Who is the king of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty, Yahweh, mighty in war.
9 Welitenụ isi unu, unu ọnụ ụzọ ama, buliekwanụ ha elu, unu ọnụ ụzọ ama ochie, ka Eze ebube nwee ike ịbatakwa.
Lift up, O ye gates, your heads, yea lift [them] up, ye age-abiding doors, That the king of glory may come in.
10 Onye bụ eze ebube a? Ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ọ bụ ya bụ Eze ebube! (Sela)
Who then is the king of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He, is the king of glory. (Selah)
