< Abụ Ọma 2 >
1 Gịnị mere mba niile ji agba izu nzuzo? Gịnị mere ndị mmadụ ji na-apịa ọpịpịa nke na-abaghị uru?
Why are the nations plotting rebellion? The peoples devise schemes, but they're pointless.
2 Ndị eze nke ụwa na-eguzokwa onwe ha, ndị na-achị achị na-agbakọtakwa imegide Onyenwe anyị na imegide Onye ya e tere mmanụ.
The kings of the world prepare to attack, and the rulers conspire together against the Lord and his anointed one, saying,
3 Ha na-asị, “Ka anyị tijie mkpọrọ igwe niile ha kere anyị ma tufukwaa ha, nwere onwe anyị.”
“Let's break the chains and throw away the cords that bind us.”
4 Onye na-anọdụ nʼeluigwe na-achị ọchị. Onyenwe anyị na-akwa ha emo.
But the one who sits enthroned in heaven laughs. The Lord mocks them.
5 Mgbe ahụ, ọ na-eji iwe baara ha mba mee ka ụjọ jupụta ha obi nʼihi oke iwe ya.
He will thunder at them, and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 “Mụ onwe m eguzobela m eze m na Zayọn, ugwu m dị nsọ.”
“It is I who placed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 Aga m ekwusa iwu Onyenwe anyị: Ọ sịrị m, “Ị bụ Ọkpara m; taa abụrụla m nna gị.
“I will proclaim the Lord's decree,” says the king. “He told me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your father.
8 Rịọọ m, aga m enye gị mba niile nke ụwa ka ha bụrụ ihe nketa gị.
Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your possessions—the whole earth will belong to you.
9 Ị ga-eji mkpara igwe chịa ha, tipịa ha dịka onye na-akpụ ite si etipịa ite ndị ọ kpụrụ na-adịghị mma.”
You will break them with a rod of iron, smashing them like pottery.’”
10 Nʼihi nke a, unu ndị eze, bụrụnụ ndị nwere uche; ka nke a bụrụkwa ihe ịdọ aka na ntị nye ndị na-achị achị nʼụwa.
So then you kings, be wise! Be warned, you rulers of the world!
11 Jirinụ ịtụ egwu fee Onyenwe anyị ofufe; jirikwanụ ịma jijiji ṅụrịa ọṅụ nʼihu ya.
Serve the Lord in reverence, celebrate with trembling!
12 Sutukwanụ Ọkpara ahụ ọnụ ka iwe ghara iwe ya, ka unu ghara ị bụ ndị a lara nʼiyi nʼụzọ unu. Nʼihi na iwe ya pụrụ ịmalite nʼotu ntabi anya. Ndị niile na-eme ya ebe mgbaba ha bụ ndị a gọziri agọzi.
Submit to his son so that he will not become angry and you die suddenly. His anger flares up quickly, but how happy are all those who go to him for protection.
