1 Toonu Onyenwe anyị. Toonu Onyenwe anyị site nʼeluigwe, toonu ya nʼebe niile kachasị elu.
Praise Yahweh! Praise him, from up in heaven; praise him from way up in the sky!
2 Toonu ya, ndị mmụọ ozi ya niile, toonu ya, unu usuu ndị agha ya niile.
All you angels who belong to him, praise him! All you who are in the armies of heaven, praise him!
3 Toonu ya, anyanwụ na ọnwa toonu ya, kpakpando niile.
Sun and moon, [you also] praise him! You shining stars, you praise him!
4 Toonu ya, unu eluigwe kachasị elu na unu mmiri dị nʼelu mbara eluigwe.
You highest heavens, praise him! And you waters that are high above the sky, praise him!
5 Ka ha niile too aha Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na ha niile malitere ịdị site nʼokwu ọnụ ya.
I want [all of] these to praise Yahweh [MTY] because by commanding [them to exist], he created them.
6 O doro ha nʼọnọdụ ha ga-anọ ruo mgbe ebighị ebi; o nyere iwu nke a na-agaghị agabiga.
He determined the places where they should be [in the sky], and he commanded that they should be there forever. They cannot disobey that command!
7 Toonu Onyenwe anyị, site nʼụwa, unu oke anụ mmiri niile na ogbu mmiri niile,
And everything on the earth, praise Yahweh! You [huge] sea monsters and [everything else that is] deep [in the ocean],
8 na amụma, na mkpụrụ mmiri, na snoo na igwe ojii niile, na oke ifufe niile na-eme ihe o nyere nʼiwu,
and fire and hail, and snow and frost, and strong winds that obey what he commands, [I tell] all of you to praise Yahweh!
9 unu ugwu ukwu niile, na ugwu nta niile na osisi niile na-amị mkpụrụ na osisi sida niile
Hills and mountains, fruit trees and cedar [trees],
10 na anụ ọhịa, na anụ ụlọ niile, na ihe niile na-akpụ akpụ nʼala na nnụnụ niile,
all the wild animals and all [you] cattle, and the (reptiles/creatures that scurry across the ground), and [all] the birds, [I tell all of them to praise Yahweh]!
11 ndị eze niile nke ụwa na mba niile dị iche iche, unu ụmụ eze na ndị niile na-achị achị nʼụwa,
You kings on this earth and all the people [that you rule], you princes and all [other] rulers,
12 ụmụ okorobịa na ụmụ agbọghọ, ndị okenye na ụmụntakịrị.
you young men and young women, you old people and children, [everyone, praise Yahweh!]
13 Ka ha niile too aha Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na ọ bụ naanị aha ya ka e buliri elu; ebube ya dị ukwuu karịa eluigwe na ụwa.
I want them [all] to praise Yahweh [MTY] because he is greater than anyone else. His glory is greater than [anything on] the earth or [in] heaven.
14 O meela ka mpi ndị ya dị elu, otuto ndị nsọ ya niile, nke Izrel ndị ọ hụrụ nʼanya. Toonu Onyenwe anyị.
He caused us, his people, to be strong in order that we, his people, we Israeli people (who are very precious to him/whom he loves very much), would praise him. So praise Yahweh!
