< Aịzaya 26 >
1 Nʼụbọchị ahụ, a ga-abụ abụ a nʼala Juda niile: Anyị nwere obodo e wusiri ike.
In that day, shall be sung this song, in the land of Judah, —A strong city, have we! Salvation, will he set for walls and rampart,
2 Meghee ụzọ ama niile, ka mba ndị ahụ na-eme ezi omume bata, e, bụ mba ahụ kwesiri ntụkwasị obi.
Open ye the gates, —That there may enter in—a righteous nation preserving fidelity.
A purpose sustained, thou wilt guard, [saying], Prosper! Prosper! Because in thee, hath he been led to trust.
4 Tụkwasị Onyenwe anyị Chineke obi mgbe niile, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị Chineke bụ oke nkume nke mgbe ebighị ebi.
Trust ye in Yahweh, unto futurity, —For, in Yah, Yahweh, is a rock of ages.
5 Ndị na-akpa nganga ka ọ na-ewedata ala, na-emekwa ka obodo na-anya isi kpọọ ọnụ nʼala. Mgbidi ya ka ọ na-eme ka ọ daruo ala.
For he hath brought down the inhabitants of the height the city exalted, —He layeth it low, Layeth it low even to the ground, Levelleth it, even to the dust:
6 Ọ na-enyefe obodo ahụ nʼaka ndị a na-emegbu emegbu, na nʼaka ndị ogbenye ka ha zọtọọ ya ụkwụ.
The foot trampleth it, —The feet of the lowly, The steps of the weak,
7 Ụzọ nke onye ezi omume ha nʼotu, gị, Onye ziri ezi, na-eme ka okporoụzọ ndị ezi omume dị larịị.
The path of a righteous man, is, even, —O Upright One! the track of a righteous man, thou makest level.
8 E, Onyenwe anyị, anyị na-aga nʼụzọ nke ikpe gị niile, na-ele anya gị. Aha gị na ihe niile e ji mara gị bụ ihe na-agụsị obi anyị agụ ike.
Surely in the path of thy regulations, O Yahweh, we waited for thee, —Unto thy Name and unto thy Memorial, was there a longing of soul:
9 Abalị niile ka obi m na-achọsi gị ike, nʼụtụtụ eji m mmụọ m niile na-achọsi gị ike, nʼihi na ọ bụ naanị mgbe ị bịara kpee ụwa ikpe ka mmadụ ga-esi nʼajọ omume tụgharịa ime ezi ihe.
With my soul, longed I for thee in the night, Yea with my spirit within me, I kept on searching for thee, —For, when thy regulations [extend] to the earth, The inhabitants of the world will have learned, righteousness.
10 Obi ebere gị nʼebe ndị na-emebi iwu nọ adịghị eme ka ha gbanwee. Ọ bụladị nʼala a, ebe ndị ezi omume bi, ha na-anọgide na-eme ihe ọjọọ. Ha adịghị echeta ịdị ukwuu gị, Onyenwe anyị.
Let favour be shewed to the lawless, he hath not learned righteousness, In a land of honest dealings, he acteth perversely, —And seeth not the splendour of Yahweh.
O Yahweh though thy hand be lifted up, —yet do they not see, Would they might see—and turn pale at a people’s zeal, —Surely, the fire of thine enemies, must consume them!
12 Onyenwe anyị, ị na-enye anyị udo; nʼihi na ihe niile anyị nwere sitere nʼaka gị.
O Yahweh, thou wilt ensure prosperity for us, —For even all our works, hast thou wrought for us,
13 O, Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị, ọ dị mgbe anyị nọ nʼokpuru ọchịchị ndị ọzọ dị iche iche, ma ugbu a, ọ bụ naanị aha gị ka anyị na-efe.
O Yahweh, our God! Lords other than thee, have owned us, —By thyself alone, will we call upon thy Name.
14 Ndị niile anyị fere na mbụ anwụchaala; ha adịghịkwa ndụ; mmụọ ha agakwaghị alọghachi ọzọ. Nʼihi na ị tara ha ahụhụ, laa ha nʼiyi; e chefukwaala ha.
The dead, come not to life again, The shades, do not arise, —Therefore, thou hast visited and destroyed them, And caused to perish every memorial of them.
15 I meela ka mba a dị ukwuu, Onyenwe anyị; i meela ka mba a saa mbara. I wetarala onwe gị nsọpụrụ, i meela ka oke ala ahụ niile gbatịa.
Thou hast increased the nation, O Yahweh, Thou hast increased the nation thou hast gotten thyself glory, Thou hast extended far, all the ends of the land.
16 Onyenwe anyị, nʼime mkpagbu ha, ha gbakwutere gị. Mgbe iwe gị bịakwasịrị ha, ọ bụ olu dị nta ka ha ji kpeere gị ekpere.
O Yahweh! in distress, they sought thee, —They poured out a whispered prayer, when thy chastening was upon them.
Otu a ka anyị nọ nʼihu gị.
Like as a woman with child—Draweth near to giving birth, Is in pain, Crieth out in her pangs So, were we before thee, O Yahweh; —
We were with child—We were in pain, As it were we brought forth wind, —Salvation, we could not accomplish for the earth, Neither were born the inhabitants of the world.
19 Ma ndị gị niile nwụrụ anwụ ga-adị ndụ, O Onyenwe anyị. Ozu ha ga-esite nʼọnwụ bilie. Unu ndị niile bi nʼaja tetanụ ma tie mkpu ọṅụ. Nʼihi na igirigi gị dị ka igirigi nke ụtụtụ, ala ga-amụpụtakwa ndị ya niile nwụrụ anwụ.
Thy dead, shall come to life again, My dead body, they shall arise, —Awake and shout for joy, ye that dwell in the dust For, a dew of light, is thy dew, And, earth, to the shades shall give birth.
20 Baanụ nʼụlọ, ndị m, kpọchienụ ụzọ unu! Zoonụ onwe unu naanị nwa oge nta, tutu ruo mgbe iwe Chineke ga-agabiga.
Come my people, enter into thy chambers, And shut thy doors behind thee, —Hide thee as it were a little moment Till the indignation pass over.
21 Lee anya! Onyenwe anyị si nʼebe obibi ya na-abịa ikpe ndị bi nʼụwa ikpe nʼihi mmehie ha niile. Ụwa ga-ekpughepụ gosi ọbara niile a wụsiri nʼelu ya, ọ gaghị ezokwa ndị niile e gburu lie nʼime ya.
For lo! Yahweh, is coming forth out of his place, To visit the iniquity of earth’s inhabitant upon him, —Therefore shall the earth unveil her shed-blood, And throw a covering, no longer over her slain.
