< Ndị Hibru 6 >

1 Ya bụ ka anyị na-aga nʼihu nʼihe mmụta zuru ezu, ka anyị gharakwa ịnọgide nʼihe mmụta mbụ ahụ nke anyị nwere banyere Kraịst. Anyị agaghị alaghachi azụ ịtọ ntọala nchegharị ọzọ site nʼọrụ ndị nwụrụ anwụ nʼokwukwe nʼebe Chineke nọ,
THEREFORE leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 na-akụzi banyere ime baptizim na ibikwasị aka nʼisi na onyinye nke Mmụọ Nsọ, na mbilite nʼọnwụ na ikpe ebighị ebi. (aiōnios g166)
Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
3 Anyị ga-eme nke a ma Chineke kwe.
And this will we do, if God permit.
4 Ma ọ dịghị mfe ịkpọghachi ndị dara ada ọzọ, bụ ndị natarala ihe ahụ na mbụ, ndị detụkwara onyinye amara dị iche iche nke si nʼeluigwe bịa ire, ndị ketakwara oke Mmụọ Nsọ,
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 ndị detụkwara ịdị mma nke okwu Chineke ahụ ire na ike nke ụwa na-abịa, (aiōn g165)
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (aiōn g165)
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 Nʼihi na ala ahụ nke na-amị mmiri na-ezokwasị nʼelu ya mgbe niile, na-amịpụta mkpụrụ bara ụba nye ndị e ji maka ha kọọ ya, na-enweta ngọzị nʼaka Chineke.
For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 Ma ọ bụrụ na o puo naanị ogwu na ahịhịa, ọ baghị uru ọbụla. Kama, ọ ga-abụ ihe a bụrụ ọnụ, nke ọgwụgwụ ya ga-abụ ịkpọ ya ọkụ.
But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
9 Ma ọ bụ ezie na anyị na-ekwu otu a, ezi ndị enyi m, anyị nwere ntụkwasị obi maka ihe dị ezi mma banyere unu, bụ ihe ndị ha na nzọpụta so bịa.
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10 Chineke abụghị onye na-ekpe ikpe nʼezighị ezi. Ọ gaghị echefu ọrụ niile unu rụrụ ya. Ọ gaghị echefu ịhụnanya niile unu gosiri nʼihi ya site nʼịgara ndị nsọ ozi, dịka unu na-aga nʼihu na-emekwa.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 Anyị chọrọ ka onye ọbụla nʼime unu nọgidesie ike nʼotu ịnụ ọkụ nʼobi ahụ ruo ọgwụgwụ ihe niile, ka unu nwee olileanya inwezu ihe niile unu na-atụ anya ya mgbe oge ruru.
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
12 Anyị achọghị ka unu bụrụ ndị umengwụ, kama ka unu bụrụ ndị na-eṅomi ndụ ahụ jiri okwukwe na ntachiobi nweta ihe ahụ e kwere na nkwa.
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 Mgbe Chineke kwere Ebraham nkwa, o ji onwe ya ṅụọ iyi, nʼihi na ọ dịghị onye ọzọ dị ukwuu karịa ya,
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 na-asị, “Nʼezie aga m agọzi gị, nyekwa gị ọtụtụ ụmụ ụmụ.”
Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 Ụmụ mmadụ na-eji ndị ka ha ukwuu ṅụọ iyi, iyi aṅụrụ nʼụzọ dị otu a na-eme ka ihe e kwuru guzosie ike ma wezugakwa ịrụ ụka niile nʼetiti mmadụ.
For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
18 Ka ọ ga-abụ site nʼihe abụọ na-enweghị mgbanwe, nke na-agaghị ekwe omume izi Chineke dịka onye ụgha, anyị bụ ndị gbara ọsọ ndụ ga-enweta agbamume siri ike iji jide olileanya e dobeere anyị.
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
19 Anyị nwere olileanya a dị ka arịlịka nke mkpụrụobi nke guzosiri ike ma bụrụkwa nke e chekwara. Ọ na-abanye nʼime ime ebe nchụaja ahụ nʼazụ akwa mgbochi
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
20 ebe Jisọs onye buru anyị ụzọ, abanyela nʼihi anyị; ọ ghọlara anyị onyeisi nchụaja ruo mgbe ebighị ebi dị ka usoro Melkizedek si dị. (aiōn g165)
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn g165)
