< Izikiel 10 >

1 Mgbe ahụ, elere m anya hụ ocheeze ọma e ji nkume safaia wuo ka ọ pụtara ihe na mbara eluigwe, nʼelu ebe ahụ isi cherubim ndị ahụ dị.
I looked up and saw what looked like a throne made of lapis lazuli beyond the expanse, way above the heads of the cherubim.
2 Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị sịrị nwoke ahụ yi uwe akwa ọcha, “Baa nʼetiti ụkwụ ụgbọala ahụ dị nʼokpuru cherubim ndị ahụ. Site nʼetiti cherubim ndị ahụ kpojuo icheku ọkụ nke na-ere ere nʼaka gị, fesachaa ha nʼime obodo ahụ niile.” Ọ bara nʼime ka m nʼele ya anya.
Speaking from there the Lord told the man in linen, “Go in between the wheels underneath the cherubim. Collect as many burning coals as you can. Carry them from among the cherubim and scatter them all over the city.” I watched as he went in.
3 Cherubim ndị ahụ na-eguzo nʼakụkụ ndịda nke ụlọnsọ ahụ mgbe nwoke ahụ banyere. Igwe ojii jupụtakwara nʼogige ime ụlọnsọ ahụ.
The cherubim were standing on the south side of the Temple when the man went in. A cloud filled the inner court.
4 Mgbe ahụ, ebube Onyenwe anyị sitere nʼelu cherubim bilie, bịa guzo nʼọnụ ụzọ ụlọnsọ ahụ. Ụlọnsọ ahụ jupụtakwara nʼigwe ojii, ihe nke ebube Onyenwe anyị jupụtakwara nʼogige ụlọnsọ ahụ.
Then the Lord's glory rose up from above the cherubim and moved to the entrance of the Temple. The cloud filled the Temple, and the brightness of the Lord's glory filled the courtyard.
5 Ụzụ nke nku cherubim ndị ahụ na-eme dịkwa ka olu Chineke Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile. A na-anụkwa ụzụ nku ndị ahụ nʼogige ụlọnsọ ahụ dị nʼezi.
The noise made by the cherubim's wings could even be heard in the outer courtyard, and sounded like the voice of God Almighty.
6 Mgbe Onyenwe anyị nyere nwoke ahụ yi uwe ezi akwa ọcha iwu, sị, “Gaa nʼetiti cherubim ahụ gụta ụfọdụ icheku ọkụ dị nʼetiti wịịlu ụgbọala ahụ,” nwoke ahụ banyere guzo nʼakụkụ otu wịịlu ahụ.
When the Lord ordered the man in linen, “Go and get some fire from in between the wheels, from among the cherubim,” the man went in and stood beside one of the wheels.
7 Mgbe ahụ, otu nʼime ndị cherubim ahụ setịpụrụ aka ya nʼebe ọkụ ahụ dị nʼetiti ha. Ọ gụtara ụfọdụ icheku ọkụ tinye nʼaka nwoke ahụ yi uwe akwa ọcha onye weere ya pụọ.
Then one of the cherubim reached out and took some of the fire among them. He handed it to the man in linen, who took it and left.
8 Nʼokpuru nku ndị cherubim ahụ ka a na-ahụta ihe yiri aka mmadụ.
(All the cherubim had what looked like human hands under their wings.)
9 Elere m anya hụ wịịlu anọ, nke dị nʼakụkụ cherubim ndị ahụ. Cherubim ọbụla nwere otu wịịlu nʼakụkụ ya. Wịịlu ndị a niile na-egbu maramara dịka nkume beril.
I saw four wheels next to the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub. The wheels shone like topaz.
10 Wịịlu anọ ndị ahụ yiri onwe ha. Nke ọbụla nʼime ha dịka wịịlu a rụnyere nʼetiti wịịlu ọzọ.
All four wheels looked the same, and had a wheel within a wheel, set crossways.
11 Mgbe ha na-aga, ha niile na-eche ihu nʼakụkụ ọbụla nke cherubim ndị ahụ chere ihu. Wịịlu ndị a adịghị echigharị echigharị mgbe cherubim ndị a na-agagharị. Kama ebe isi cherubim ndị ahụ chere ihu ka wịịlu ndị ahụ na-aga. Ha adịghị elekwa anya nʼazụ dịka ha na-aga.
The cherubim could go in any direction they faced, moving without turning.
12 Gburugburu ha, nʼanụ ahụ ha niile, ma nʼazụ ha, ma nʼaka ha, ma na nku ha, ma na wịịlu ndị ahụ, ihe jupụtara ha bụ anya. Anya dị nʼakụkụ ha niile.
The whole of their bodies, including their backs, hands, and wings, were covered in eyes, as were all four wheels.
13 Aha m nụrụ a na-akpọ wịịlu ndị ahụ bụ, Ọgba gburugburu.
I heard the wheels being referred to as “the chariot wheels.”
14 Nke ọbụla nʼime cherubim ndị a nwere ihu anọ. Ihu nke mbụ dịka ihu cherub. Nke abụọ dịka ihu mmadụ; nke atọ dịka ihu ọdụm, ma nke anọ dịka ihu ugo.
Each of them had four faces: the first face was a cherub's face, the second a man's face, the third a lion's face, and the fourth an eagle's face.
15 Mgbe ahụ, Cherubim ndị ahụ buliri onwe ha elu. Ndị a bụ ihe ndị ahụ dị ndụ nke m hụrụ na mbụ nʼakụkụ osimiri Keba.
Then the cherubim rose up in the air. They were the beings I'd seen beside the River Kebar.
When the cherubim moved, the wheels moved alongside them. Even when they opened their wings to take off, the wheels stayed beside them.
17 Mgbe cherubim ndị ahụ guzoro nʼotu ebe, wịịlu ahụ na-eguzokwa. Mgbe ha na-ebuli onwe ha elu, wịịlu ndị ahụ na-ebulikwa onwe ha elu, nʼihi na mmụọ nke ihe ahụ dị ndụ dị nʼime ha.
When the cherubim stopped, the wheels stopped too. When they took off, the wheels did too, because the spirit of the living creatures was in them.
18 Emesịa, ebube nke Onyenwe anyị sitere na mbata ọnụ ụzọ ụlọnsọ ahụ pụọ, gaa guzo nʼelu cherubim ndị ahụ.
Then the glory of the Lord left the entrance to the Temple and stopped above the cherubim.
19 Mgbe m nọ na-ele anya, cherubim ahụ gbasapụrụ nku ha felie, wịịlu ha niile dịkwa nʼakụkụ ha. Ha guzoro na mbata ọnụ ụzọ nke dị nʼakụkụ ọwụwa anyanwụ nke ụlọ Onyenwe anyị, na ebube nke Chineke nke Izrel dịkwa nʼelu ha.
As I watched, the cherubim lifted their wings and took off, with the wheels alongside them. They stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord's Temple, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
20 Ndị a bụ ihe ndị ahụ dị ndụ, nke m hụrụ nʼokpuru Chineke Izrel nʼakụkụ osimiri Keba, amatara m na ha bụ cherubim.
These were the beings I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the River Kebar. I knew that they were cherubim.
21 Nke ọbụla nʼime ha nwere ihu anọ na nku anọ, na ihe yiri aka mmadụ nʼokpuru nku ha.
Each had four faces and four wings and had what looked like human hands under their wings.
22 Ihu ha yikwara ihu ihe ndị ahụ m hụrụ nʼakụkụ osimiri Keba. Nke ọbụla na-agakwa ije nʼihu ihu na-eleghị anya nʼazụ.
Their faces looked like the faces I had seen by the River Kebar. Each of them moved directly ahead.
