< 1 Ihe E Mere 29 >
1 Mgbe ahụ, Devid gwara ọgbakọ Izrel niile okwu sị ha, “Nwa m Solomọn, onye Chineke họpụtara ịbụ eze nʼọnọdụ m, bụ nwantakịrị na-amachabeghị ihe. Ma ọrụ o nwere ịrụ dị ukwuu, nʼihi na ụlọ ukwu a abụghị mmadụ ka ọ dịrị, kama ọ bụ nye Onyenwe anyị Chineke.
Then said David the king unto all the convocation, Solomon my son, the one, of whom God hath made choice, is young and tender, —and, the work, is great, seeing that, not for man, is the palace, but for Yahweh Elohim.
2 Ma nʼike m niile, agbalịala m wetachaa ihe niile a ga-eji wuo ụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke m ebe ha dị ukwuu: ọlaedo a ga-eji kpụọ ihe ọlaedo niile, ọlaọcha a ga-eji kpụọ ihe ọlaọcha niile, bronz a ga-eji kpụọ ihe bronz niile, igwe a ga-eji kpụọ ihe igwe niile, na osisi a ga-eji rụọ ihe osisi niile, nkume dị oke ọnụahịa ọniks, a ga-ahịọnye ahịọnye, na nkume dị oke ọnụahịa tọkwọisi, na nkume ndị ọzọ ụcha ha dị iche iche, na nkume ndị ọzọ mara mma, tinyere mabụl.
And, with all my might, have I made preparation for the house of my God, the gold for the gold, and the silver for the silver, and the bronze for the bronze, the iron for the iron, and the wood for the wood, —and beryl stones and settings, stones coloured and particoloured, and all manner of precious stones and stones of white marble, in abundance.
3 Ugbu a, nʼihi mmasị m nʼebe ụlọnsọ Chineke m dị, ana m enye akụ nke aka m niile, ya bụ ọlaedo na ọlaọcha m, iji ya nye aka, maka iwu ụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke m. Ihe ndị a ka m na-enye, tụkwasịkwa nʼelu ihe ndị ọzọ niile bụ nke m nyerela, nʼihi ụlọnsọ ukwu a:
And yet further, because of my delighting in the house of my God, having a treasure of mine own in gold and silver, I have given for the house of my God, above and beyond all that I have prepared for the holy house:
4 bụ puku talenti ọlaedo atọ (ọlaedo e si Ọfịa bubata), na puku talenti ọlaọcha asaa nke a nụchara anụcha, nke a ga-eji machite ahụ ụlọ niile nke ụlọ ndị ahụ.
three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, —and seven thousand talents of refined silver, for overlaying the walls of the recesses.
5 Maka ọrụ niile a ga-eji ọlaedo rụọ, na nke a ga-eji ọlaọcha rụọ, na ọrụ niile ndị ǹka ga-arụ. Ugbu a, onye jikeere iwere onwe ya nyechasịa Onyenwe anyị nʼaka taa?”
Of gold for the gold, and of silver for the silver, and for all manner of work in the hand of artificers, —Who then is ready to offer willingly, by filling his hand to-day, unto Yahweh?
6 Mgbe ahụ, ndịisi ezinaụlọ, na ndịisi ozi nke ebo Izrel niile, na ndịisi agha na-achị ọtụtụ puku ndị agha, na ndịisi agha na-achị ọtụtụ narị ndị agha, na ndịisi ozi na-elekọta ọrụ eze, jiri obi ha niile nye onyinye.
Then offered they willingly—the ancestral rulers and the rulers of the tribes of Israel, and the rulers of thousands and hundreds, even to the rulers of the work of the king;
7 Ha nyere maka ọrụ ụlọnsọ ukwu Chineke. Ha nyere puku talenti ọlaedo ise, na puku darik ọlaedo iri, nyekwa puku talenti ọlaọcha iri, na puku talenti bronz iri na asatọ, na narị puku talenti igwe.
and gave for the service of the house of God, of gold, five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and, of silver, ten thousand talents, and, of bronze, eighteen thousand talents, —and, of iron, one hundred thousand talents.
8 Ndị niile nwere nkume dị oke ọnụahịa dị iche iche webatara ya tinye ha nʼụlọakụ dị nʼụlọ nso ukwu Onyenwe anyị, nke Jehiel onye Geshọn na-elekọta.
And, every one with whom were found precious stones, gave to the treasure of the house of Yahweh, —unto the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
9 Ndị Izrel niile ṅụrịrị ọṅụ nʼihi otu ndịisi ha jiri wepụta obi nye onyinye, nʼihi na ha ji ọṅụ na obi ha niile nye Onyenwe anyị onyinye. Eze Devid nʼonwe ya ṅụrịkwara ọṅụ nke ukwuu.
So the people rejoiced because they willingly offered, for, with a perfect heart, offered they willingly unto Yahweh, —moreover also, David the king, rejoiced with great joy.
10 Nʼihu ọha Izrel niile, Devid kelere Onyenwe anyị ekele sị, “Otuto dịrị gị Onyenwe anyị Chineke nna anyị Izrel site nʼebighị ebi ruo ebighị ebi.
Therefore did David bless Yahweh in the eyes of all the convocation, —and David said, Blessed art thou, O Yahweh, the God of Israel our father, from age even unto age.
11 Gị onwe gị, Onyenwe anyị nwe ịdị ukwu, na ike, na ịma mma, na ugwu eze, na ebube, nʼihi na ihe niile nʼeluigwe na nʼụwa bụ nke gị. Gị onwe gị, Onyenwe anyị nwe alaeze. Gị kwa ka e buliri elu dịka onye na-achị isi nʼelu ihe niile.
Thine, O Yahweh, are Greatness, and Might, and Beauty, and Victory, and Majesty, nay! all in the heavens and in the earth, —thine, O Yahweh, is the kingdom, who art exalted above all, —as chief;
and, riches and honour, are from before thee, and, thou, art ruling over all, and, in thy hand, are power and might, —and, in thy hand, it is, to give greatness and strength unto any.
13 Ugbu a, Chineke anyị, anyị na-enye gị ekele na-etokwa aha gị dị ebube.
Now, therefore, O our God, we are giving thanks unto thee, —and offering praise, unto thy beautiful Name.
And yet, who am, I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer willingly like this? for, from thee, is the whole, and, out of thine own hand, have we given unto thee;
15 Anyị bụ ndị ọbịa na ndị mbịarambịa nʼihu gị, dịka nna nna anyị ha. Ụbọchị ndụ anyị nʼụwa dị ka onyinyo, nke olileanya na-adịghị nʼime ya.
for, sojourners, are we before thee, and strangers, like all our fathers, —like a shadow, are our days upon the earth, and there is no hope.
16 O, Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị, ihe niile ndị a anyị bukọrọ maka iji rụọra gị ụlọnsọ si nʼaka gị bịa. Ha niile bụkwa nke gị.
O Yahweh our God, all this abundance which we have prepared, to build thee a house for thy holy Name, out of thine own hand, it is, and, thine, is the whole.
17 Amaara m, Chineke m, na ị na-anwale obi, na i na-enwekwa mmasị nʼihe ziri ezi. Ihe ndị niile ka m onwe m nyere site nʼafọ ofufu nakwa obi ziri ezi. Ma ugbu a, ahụla m ọṅụ ndị gị, bụ ndị nọ nʼebe a, ji were afọ ofufu nye gị onyinye ha.
But I know, O my God, that, thou, art proving the heart, and, with uprightness, wilt thou be pleased, —I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these things, now, therefore, thy people who are found here, have I seen with joy, offering willingly unto thee.
18 Ya mere, gị Onyenwe anyị, Chineke nna anyị Ebraham na Aịzik, na Izrel, biko, mee ka ụdị ọchịchọ a dịgide nʼime obi ndị gị ruo ebighị ebi, meekwa ka ha jiri obi ha niile gbasoo gị mgbe niile.
O Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, oh guard this age-abidingly, as the devised purpose of the heart of thy people, —and establish thou their heart, unto thyself.
19 Nye nwa m Solomọn obi zuruoke nke ọ ga-eji debe iwu gị niile, ọchịchọ gị niile na ụkpụrụ gị niile, ya na mmụọ imezu ihe niile metụtara owuwu ụlọnsọ ukwu a nke m kwadooro ihe niile ndị a.”
Also, unto Solomon my son, give thou an undivided heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, —to do the whole, and to build the palace for which I have prepared.
20 Mgbe ahụ, Devid gwara ndị Izrel okwu sị, “Toonu Onyenwe anyị Chineke unu!” Ha niile toro Onyenwe anyị Chineke nna ha, kpọọ isiala nye Onyenwe anyị na eze.
Then said David, unto all the convocation, Bless, I beseech you, Yahweh your God. So all the convocation blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and did bend their heads and bow themselves down unto Yahweh, and unto the king;
21 Nʼechi ya, ha wetara otu puku oke ehi, na otu puku ebule, na otu puku ụmụ ebule jiri ha chụọrọ Onyenwe anyị aja nsure ọkụ. Tinyere aja ihe ọṅụṅụ na ọtụtụ aja ndị ọzọ nʼebe ọ bara ụba nʼihi ụmụ Izrel niile.
and sacrificed unto Yahweh sacrifices, and caused to go up ascending-offerings unto Yahweh, on the morrow of that day, a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand young sheep, and the drink-offerings thereof, —and sacrifices in abundance, for all Israel.
22 Emesịa, ha jiri ọṅụ rie oriri, ṅụkwaa ihe ọṅụṅụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị. Ha nọkwa nʼebe ahụ nabata Solomọn, nwa Devid dịka eze nke ugboro abụọ, teekwa ya mmanụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị ka ọ bụrụ onye ọchịchị. Ha mekwara Zadọk onye nchụaja.
And so they did eat and drink before Yahweh on that day, with great joy, —and they, the second time, made Solomon son of David king, and anointed him unto Yahweh to be chief ruler, and Zadok to be priest.
23 Ya mere, Solomọn nọkwasịrị nʼocheeze Onyenwe anyị dịka eze, nʼọnọdụ nna ya Devid. Ọ bara ụba nke ukwuu. Ndị Izrel rubekwaara ya isi.
So Solomon took his seat upon the throne of Yahweh, as king, instead of David his father, and prospered, —and all Israel, hearkened unto him.
24 Ndịisi ọchịchị niile, na ndịisi Izrel niile, na ụmụ ndị ikom eze Devid niile kwupụtara nrube isi ha nye Solomọn, eze ọhụrụ.
And, all the rulers, and the heroes, yea moreover all the sons of King David, gave a hand, under Solomon the king.
25 Onyenwe anyị mere ka Solomọn dị ukwuu hie nne nʼanya ndị Izrel niile. Ọ yikwasịrị ya ebube nke alaeze nʼụdị ọ dịbeghị eze ọbụla buru ya ụzọ chịa nʼIzrel nweturula.
And Yahweh magnified Solomon, exceedingly, before the eyes of all Israel, —and gave unto him a royal majesty, that had not been on any king before him, over Israel.
26 Devid nwa Jesi bụ eze ndị Izrel niile.
Thus, David son of Jesse, reigned over all Israel;
27 Ọ chịrị Izrel iri afọ anọ. Ọ chịrị afọ asaa na Hebrọn, chịakwa iri afọ atọ na atọ na Jerusalem.
and, the days that he reigned over Israel, were forty years, —in Hebron reigned he seven years, and in Jerusalem, reigned he, thirty-three.
28 Ọ nwụrụ mgbe ọ ghọrọ ezigbo agadi. Ọ bụkwa onye biri ogologo ndụ, onye nwekwara akụnụba na nsọpụrụ. Solomọn nwa ya nwoke nọchiri ya dịka eze.
And he died in a good old age, satisfied with days, riches and honour, —and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
29 Ihe niile gbasara ọchịchị eze Devid, site na mmalite rụọ nʼọgwụgwụ, ka e dere nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ Samuel, onye ọhụ ụzọ, na nʼakwụkwọ Netan, onye amụma, na nʼakwụkwọ Gad onye ọhụ ụzọ.
Now, the acts of David the king, first and last, behold them! written in the records of Samuel the seer, and in the records of Nathan the prophet, and in the records of Gad the seer:
30 Akụkọ ndị a gosiri ihe gbasara ọchịchị eze ya, na ịdị ike ya, na ihe niile mere ya, na ihe mere ndị Izrel, na ndị eze ndị mba ọzọ bi ha gburugburu.
with all his reign, and his might, —and the times which passed over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the lands.
