1 Ha bubatara igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Chineke ahụ guzobe ya nʼime ụlọ ikwu nke Devid manyere maka ya. Ha chekwara aja nsure ọkụ na aja udo nʼihu Chineke.
They brought in the ark of God and put it in the middle of the tent that David had set up for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God.
2 Mgbe Devid chụsịrị aja nsure ọkụ na aja udo ndị a, ọ gọziri ndị Izrel nʼaha Onyenwe anyị.
When David had finished sacrificing the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
3 O nyekwara onye ọbụla nʼIzrel, ma nwoke ma nwanyị, otu ogbe achịcha, ọkpụrụkpụ anụ na achịcha mkpụrụ osisi a mịkpọrọ amịkpọ.
He distributed to every Israelite, both to men and women, a loaf of bread, and a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.
4 Ọ họpụtara ụfọdụ ndị Livayị ka ha nọdụ nʼihu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Onyenwe anyị ahụ inye Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel ekele na otuto na ịrịọ ya ngọzị nʼisi ndị ya Izrel. Ndị a bụ ndị o nyere ije ozi a:
David appointed certain Levites to serve before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate, thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel.
5 Asaf bụ onyeisi ndị a. Ndị ọzọ bụ Zekaraya, Jeiel, Shemiramot, Jehiel, Matitaia, Eliab, Benaya, Obed-Edọm na Jeiel. Ọrụ ha bụ ịkpọ ụbọ akwara, na une, ma ọrụ Asaf bụ onye na-akụ ogene ọla na-ada ụda.
These Levites were Asaph the leader, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed Edom, and Jeiel. These were to play with stringed instruments and with harps. Asaph was to sound the cymbals, sounding loudly.
6 Benaya na Jahaziel, ndị nchụaja, ketara ọrụ ịfụ opi nʼihu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Chineke kwamgbe kwamgbe.
Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Nʼụbọchị ahụ ka Devid buru ụzọ họpụta Asaf na ndị otu ya ka ha nye Onyenwe anyị otuto nʼusoro dị otu a:
Then on that day David first appointed Asaph and his brothers to sing this song of thanksgiving to Yahweh.
8 Nyenụ Onyenwe anyị otuto, kwupụtakwa aha ya, meenụ ka amata nʼetiti mba niile banyere ihe niile ọ rụrụ.
Give thanks to Yahweh, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations.
9 Bụkuonụ ya abụ, bụkuonụ ya abụ otuto; kwupụtaranụ mba niile ọrụ ebube ya niile.
Sing to him, sing praises to him; speak of all his marvelous deeds.
10 Ṅụrianụ nʼime aha nsọ ya; ka obi ndị niile na-achọ Onyenwe anyị ṅụrịa ọṅụ.
Boast in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
11 Na-achọnụ Onyenwe anyị na ike ya, chọọnụ ihu ya mgbe niile.
Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his presence continually.
12 Chetanụ ọrụ ebube niile nke ọ rụrụ, ihe ịrịbama ya niile na ikpe ziri ezi niile nke si nʼọnụ ya pụta.
Recall the marvelous things he has done, his miracles and the decrees from his mouth,
13 Unu, ụmụ Izrel, bụ ohu ya ụmụ Jekọb, ndị ọ họpụtara.
you descendants of Israel his servant, you people of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Ya onwe ya bụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke anyị; ikpe ya dị nʼụwa niile.
He is Yahweh, our God. His decrees are on all the earth.
15 Ọ na-echeta ọgbụgba ndụ ya ruo mgbe ebighị ebi; bụ nkwa o kwere nye puku ọgbọ.
Keep his covenant in mind forever, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations.
16 Ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ nke ya na Ebraham gbara, na iyi ọ ṅụrụ nye Aịzik.
He calls to mind the covenant that he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac.
17 O mere ka o guzoro nye Jekọb dịka ụkpụrụ, ma nʼebe Izrel nọ dịka ọgbụgba ndụ ebighị ebi:
This is what he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant.
18 Sị, “Aga m enye gị ala Kenan ka ọ bụrụ ihe nketa gị.”
He said, “I will give you the land of Canaan as your share of your inheritance.”
19 Mgbe ha dị ole na ole nʼọnụọgụgụ, nʼezie, ole na ole, bụrụkwa ọbịa nʼala ahụ.
When they were only few in number, so very few, and they were strangers in the land,
20 Ha wagharịrị site nʼotu mba gaa mba ọzọ, sitekwa nʼotu alaeze gaa na alaeze ọzọ.
they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
21 O kweghị ka onye ọbụla mekpaa ha ahụ; ọ baara ndị eze mba nʼihi ha, sị:
He did not allow anyone to oppress them; he punished kings for their sakes.
22 “Unu emetụkwala ndị m e tere mmanụ aka, unu emekpakwala ndị amụma m ahụ.”
he said, “Do not touch my anointed ones, and do not harm my prophets.”
23 Bụkuonụ Onyenwe anyị abụ, unu ụwa niile; kwupụtanụ nzọpụta ya site nʼotu ụbọchị ruo nʼụbọchị nke ọzọ.
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth; announce his salvation day after day.
24 Kwusaanụ ebube ya nʼetiti mba niile, kọsakwanụ banyere oke ọrụ ya niile nʼetiti ndị niile dị iche iche.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all the nations.
25 Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị dị ukwuu, ọ bụkwa onye kachasị ka e nye otuto. Onye a na-atụ egwu karịa chi ọzọ niile ka ọ bụkwa.
For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly, and he is to be feared above all other gods.
26 Nʼihi na chi niile nke mba niile dị iche iche bụ arụsị efu, maọbụ Onyenwe anyị kere eluigwe niile.
For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is Yahweh who made the heavens.
27 Ịma mma na ebube dị nʼihu ya; ike na ọṅụ dị nʼebe obibi ya.
Splendor and majesty are in his presence. Strength and joy are in his place.
28 Nyenụ Onyenwe anyị, unu ezinaụlọ nke mba niile dị iche iche, nyenụ Onyenwe anyị nsọpụrụ na ike.
Ascribe to Yahweh, you clans of peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
29 E, nyenụ Onyenwe anyị nsọpụrụ ruuru aha ya, werenụ onyinye bịa nʼihu ya. Kpọọnụ isiala nye Onyenwe anyị nʼịma mma nke ịdị nsọ ya.
Ascribe to Yahweh the glory his name deserves. Bring an offering and come before him. Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness.
30 Maa jijiji nʼihu ya, unu ụwa niile. Elu ụwa niile kwụ chịm, a pụghị iwezuga ya nʼọnọdụ ya.
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established; it cannot be shaken.
31 Ka eluigwe ṅụrịa, ka ụwa nwekwa obi ụtọ; ka ha kwupụta nʼetiti mba niile sị, “Onyenwe anyị na-achị.”
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.”
32 Ka osimiri bigbọọ, na ihe niile dị nʼime ya, ka ala ubi niile na ihe niile dị nʼime ha jupụta nʼobi ụtọ.
Let the sea roar, and that which fills it shout with joy. Let the fields be joyful, and all that is in them.
33 Ka osisi niile nke oke ọhịa bụọ abụ, ka ha bụọ abụ ọṅụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na ọ na-abịa ikpe ụwa ikpe.
Then let the trees in the forest shout for joy before Yahweh, for he is coming to judge the earth.
34 Keleenụ Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na ọ dị mma, nʼihi na ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
35 Tikuonụ ya mkpu sị, “Zọpụta anyị, gị Chineke, Onye nzọpụta anyị; chịkọta anyị, ma napụtakwa anyị site nʼaka mba dị iche iche, ka anyị nwee ike nye aha nsọ gị ekele; ma nyaakwa isi nʼime otuto gị.”
Then say, “Save us, God of our salvation. Gather us together and rescue us from the other nations, so that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praises.”
36 Otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke nke Izrel, site nʼebighị ebi ruo ebighị ebi. Mgbe ahụ, mmadụ niile sịrị, “Amen” na “Toonu Onyenwe anyị.”
May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised from everlasting to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen” and praised Yahweh.
37 Devid hapụrụ Asaf na ndị Livayị ibe ya nʼihu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ Onyenwe anyị ahụ ụbọchị niile ije ozi mgbe niile, dịka ọrụ ụbọchị ọbụla si dị.
So David left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, to serve continually before the ark, as every day's work required.
38 Obed-Edọm nwa Jedutun so nʼime ha, ya na Hosa, na iri mmadụ isii na asatọ ọzọ. Obed-Edọm nwa Jedutun na Hosa bụ ndị na-eche ọnụ ụzọ.
Obed Edom with those sixty-eight relatives were included. Obed Edom son of Jeduthun, along with Hosah, were to be gatekeepers.
39 Devid nyefekwara Zadọk, onye nchụaja, na ndị nchụaja ibe ya, ọrụ ịnọ nʼihu ụlọ nzute Onyenwe anyị, nʼebe dị elu nke Gibiọn.
Zadok the priest and his fellow priests were to serve before the tabernacle of Yahweh at the high place in Gibeon.
40 Nʼihi ịchụ aja nsure ọkụ mgbe niile nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja nke aja nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị, ụtụtụ na anyasị niile nʼusoro dịka e si dee ya nʼakwụkwọ iwu Onyenwe anyị, nke o nyere ndị Izrel.
They were to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar for burnt offerings continually morning and evening, according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he gave as a command to Israel.
41 Devid họpụtakwara Heman, na Jedutun, na ndị ọzọ a kpọrọ aha họpụta inye Onyenwe anyị ekele, “nʼihi ịhụnanya ya na obi ebere ya nke na-adị ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
Heman and Jeduthun were with them, together with the rest who were chosen by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
42 Heman na Jedutun bụ ndị ọ dịịrị ịfụ opi, na ịkụ ogene ọla, na ihe egwu ndị ọzọ eji na-enye Chineke otuto. Ụmụ ndị ikom Jedutun bụ ndị nọ nche nʼọnụ ụzọ ama.
Heman and Jeduthun were in charge of those who played trumpets, cymbals, and the other instruments for the sacred music. The sons of Jeduthun guarded the gate.
43 Mgbe mmemme ahụ gwụsịrị, onye ọbụla lara nʼụlọ ya. Devid lakwara ịgọzi ezinaụlọ ya.
Then all the people returned to their homes, and David returned to bless his own household.
