1 És énekelt Debóra meg Bárák, Abínoám fia, ama napon, mondván:

2 Midőn vezéreltek vezérek Izraélben, midőn magát fölajánlotta a nép – áldjátok az Örökkévalót!

3 Halljátok királyok, figyeljetek fejedelmek; én az Örökkévalónak hadd énekelek én, dallok az Örökkévalónak, Izraél Istenének.

4 Örökkévaló, mikor elindultál Széirből, mikor lépdeltél Edóm mezeje felől, a föld megrendült, az egek is csepegtek, felhők is csepegtettek vizet;
