4 Nóé, Sém, Chám, Jéfet.
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 Jéfet fiai: Gómer, Mágóg, Mádaj, Jáván és Túbál; Mésekh és Tírász.
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 És Gómer fiai: Askenaz, Dífat és Tógarma.
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 És Jáván fiai: Elísa, Tarsísa, Kittim és Ródánim.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Chám fiai: Kús és Micraim, Pút és Kanaán.
The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 És Kús fiai: Szebá, Chavíla, Szabta, Raema, Szabtekha; Raema fiai pedig Sebá és Dedán.
And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.
10 És Kús nemzette Nimródot; ő kezdett lenni hős a földön.
And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.
11 Micraim pedig nemzette Lúdimot, Anámimot, Lehábímot és Naftúchimot,
And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 Patrúszimot meg Kaszlúchimot, ahonnan származtak a filiszteusok, és Kaftórimot.

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arpakhsad pedig nemzette Sélachot; és Sélach nemzette Ébert;
And Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
19 Ébernek pedig született két fia; az egyiknek neve Péleg, mert az ő napjaiban fölosztódott a föld, és testvérének neve Joktán.
And to Eber were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. And his brother's name was Joktan.
20 És Joktán nemzette Almódádot, Sélefet, Chacarmávetet és Jéráchot;
And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 Hádórámot, Uzált és Diklát;
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 Ébált, Abimáélt és Sebát;
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ófirt, Chavílát és Jóbábot. Mindezek Joktán fiai.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Sém, Arpakhsad, Sélach;
Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25 Éber, Péleg, Reú;
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Szerúg, Náchór; Térach;
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Abrám; az Ábrahám.
Abram (the same is Abraham).
28 Ábrahám fiai: Izsák és Ismaél.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 És nemzette Ábrahám Izsákot; Izsák fiai: Ézsau és Izrael.
And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 Ézsau fiai Elifáz, Reúél, Jeús, Jaelám és Kórach.
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 Elífáz fiai Témán, Ómár, Cefí, Gaetám, Kenáz, Timná és Amálék.
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Reúél fiai: Náchat, Zérach, Samma és Mizza.
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Széir fiai pedig: Lótán, Sóbál, Cibeón, Ana, Dísón, Écer és Disán.
And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Lótán fiai pedig: Chórí és Hómám; és Lótán nővére: Timná.
And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam. And Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 Sóbál fiai: Alján, Mánáchat, Ébal, Sefi és Ónám. Cibeón fiai: Ajja és Ana.
The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41 Ana fiai: Disón; és Disón fiai: Chamrán, Esbán, Jitrán és Kherán.
The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Écer fiai: Bilhán, Zaaván, Jaakán; Dísón fiai: Úc és Arán.
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the sons of Israel: Bela the son of Beor. And the name of his city was Dinhabah.

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Meghalt Jóbáb és király lett helyette Chúsám, a témáni országából.
And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Meghalt Chúsám és király lett helyette Hadád, Bedád fia, aki megverte Midjánt Móáb földjén, és városának neve: Avit.
And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead. And the name of his city was Avith.
47 Meghalt Hadád és király lett helyette Szamla, Maszrékából.
And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 Meghalt Szamla és király lett helyette Sául, a folyam melletti Rechóbótból.
And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
49 Meghalt Sául és király lett helyette Báal-Chánán, Akbór fia.
And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Meghalt Báal-Chánán és király lett helyette Hadád; és városának neve: Pái; feleségének neve pedig: Mehétabél, Matréd leánya, Mé-Záháb leánya.
And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead. And the name of his city was Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
51 Meghalt Hadád. És voltak Edom törzsfejei: Timná törzsfő, Alva törzsfő, Jetét törzsfő;
And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52 Oholibáma törzsfő, Éla törzsfő, Pínón törzsfő;
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53 Kenáz törzsfő, Témán törzsfő, Mibcár törzsfő;
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54 Magdíél törzsfő, Irám törzsfő. Ezek Edóm törzsfejei.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
