जकर्याह 11
1 हे लबानोन, अपने दरवाजों को खोलो, कि आग तुम्हारे देवदार के पेड़ों को भस्म कर दे!
Open thy doors, O Lebanon, That the fire may devour thy cedars!
2 हे सनोवर के पेड़, तुम विलाप करो, क्योंकि देवदार का पेड़ गिर गया है; भव्य पेड़ नष्ट हो गये हैं! हे बाशान के बलूत पेड़, विलाप करो; क्योंकि घने जंगल काट डाले गये हैं!
Howl, O cypress, for the cedar falleth! For the lofty ones are destroyed! Howl, O ye oaks of Bashan, For the high forest is come down!
3 चरवाहों के विलाप को सुनो; उनके अच्छे चरागाह नष्ट हो गये हैं! सिंहों के गर्जन को सुनो; क्योंकि यरदन नदी की रसदार झाड़ियां नष्ट हो गयी हैं!
Hark! the voice of the howling of the shepherds, Because their glory is destroyed! The voice of the roaring of young lions, Because the pride of Jordan is destroyed!
4 याहवेह, मेरे परमेश्वर का यह कहना है: “वध के लिए चिन्हित पशुओं के झुंड की रखवाली करो.
Thus said Jehovah, my God: Feed thou the flock of slaughter,
5 उनके खरीददार उनका वध करते हैं, और उन्हें कोई दंड नहीं मिलता. जो उन्हें बेचते हैं वे कहते हैं, ‘याहवेह की स्तुति हो, मैं धनी हो गया हूं!’ उनके खुद के चरवाहे उन पर दया नहीं करते.
Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty, And which they who sell say, “Blessed be Jehovah, for I am rich!” And whose shepherds spare them not.
6 मैं अब इस देश के लोगों पर कोई दया नहीं करूंगा,” याहवेह की यह घोषणा है. “मैं हर एक को उनके पड़ोसी और उनके राजा के अधीन कर दूंगा, हर एक व्यक्ति राजा के अधीन हो जाएगा. वे उस देश को नाश कर देंगे, और मैं किसी को उनके हाथ से नहीं बचाऊंगा.”
For I will no longer spare The inhabitants of the land, saith Jehovah; But, behold, I will deliver the men Every one into the hand of his neighbor, And into the hand of his king; And they shall smite the land, And I will not deliver out of their hand.
7 अतः मैंने वध के लिये चिन्हित पशुओं के झुंड की रखवाली की, विशेष रूप से झुंड के उन पशुओं की जिनके ऊपर अत्याचार किया जा रहा था. तब मैंने दो लाठियां लीं, और उनमें से एक नाम अनुग्रह और दूसरे का नाम एकता रखा, और मैं ही झुंड की देखभाल करने लगा.
So I fed the flock of slaughter, truly a miserable flock. And I took to me two crooks; the one I called Favor, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 उसके बाद मैंने एक माह के भीतर ही तीन चरवाहों को काम से अलग कर दिया. वह झुंड मुझसे बहुत घृणा करने लगे, और मैं उनसे ऊब गया
And I cut off three shepherds in one month; for I was weary of them, and they also abhorred me.
9 और कहा, “मैं अब तुम्हारी देखभाल नहीं करूंगा. जो मर रहा है वह मरे, और जो नाश हो रहा है वह नाश हो, और जो बच जाते हैं वे एक दूसरे का मांस खाएं.”
Then I said, I will not feed you; that which dieth, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat the flesh of one another.
10 तब वह वाचा जिसे मैंने सब जाति के लोगों के साथ बांधी थी, उसे तोड़ते हुए मैंने अपने अनुग्रह नाम की लाठी को लिया और उसे तोड़ दिया.
And I took my staff Favor, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the nations.
11 वह वाचा उसी दिन तोड़ दी गयी, और झुंड के पीड़ित पशु जो मेरी ओर ताक रहे थे, वे जान गये कि यह याहवेह का वचन है.
And it was broken in that day; and so the poor of the flock, who had regard to me, knew that it was the word of Jehovah.
12 तब मैंने उनसे कहा, “यदि तुमको यह अच्छा लगे, तो तुम मुझे मेरी मजदूरी दे दो; पर यदि नहीं देना चाहते, तो कोई बात नहीं.” तब उन्होंने मेरी मजदूरी के तीस चांदी के टुकड़े मुझे दिये.
Then I said to them, If it seem good in your eyes, give me my wages; if not, keep them. And they weighed for my wages thirty shekels of silver.
13 तब याहवेह ने मुझसे कहा, “इस राशि को कुम्हार के आगे फेंक दो”—यह अच्छा मूल्य है जिसे उन्होंने मेरा ठहराया है! अतः मैंने चांदी के उन तीस टुकड़ों को लेकर याहवेह के भवन में कुम्हार के आगे फेंक दिया.
And Jehovah said to me, Cast it into the treasury, the goodly price at which I was valued by them. And I took the thirty shekels of silver, and cast them into the house of Jehovah, into the treasury.
14 तब मैंने यहूदिया और इस्राएल के बीच पारिवारिक संबंध को तोड़ते हुए, मैंने एकता नाम के अपनी दूसरी लाठी को तोड़ा.
Then I broke my other crook, even Bands, to break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 तब याहवेह ने मुझसे कहा, “एक मूर्ख चरवाहा के साज-सामान को फिर से लो.
And Jehovah said to me: Take to thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 क्योंकि मैं इस देश में एक ऐसा चरवाहा ठहरानेवाला हूं, जो खोये हुओं की चिंता नहीं करेगा, न जवानों को ढूंढ़ेगा, न घायलों को चंगा करेगा, न ही तंदुरुस्तों को खिलायेगा, पर वह अच्छे भेड़ के मांस को खायेगा, और उनके खुरों को फाड़ डालेगा.
For lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land Who shall not care for those that are perishing, Nor seek that which is gone astray, Nor heal that which is wounded, Nor support that which cannot go; But he shall eat the flesh of the fat, And consume it even to the hoofs.
17 “उस निकम्मे चरवाहे पर हाय, जो पशुओं के झुंड को छोड़कर भाग जाता है! ऐसा हो कि उसकी भुजा और दायीं आंख पर तलवार चले! उसकी भुजा पूरी तरह सूख जाए, और वह अपनी दायीं आंख से पूरी तरह अंधा हो जाए!”
Woe to the foolish shepherd that leaveth the flock! The sword is upon his arm, and upon his right eye; His arm shall surely be withered, And his right eye shall surely be darkened!
