इब्रानियों 8
1 बड़ी सच्चाई यह है: हमारे महापुरोहित वह हैं, जो स्वर्ग में महामहिम के दायें पक्ष में बैठे हैं,
Now a summation about the things being spoken is, we have such a high priest who was seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,
2 जो वास्तविक मंदिर में सेवारत हैं, जिसका निर्माण किसी मानव ने नहीं, स्वयं प्रभु ने किया है.
a minister of the holy things, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord erected and not man.
3 हर एक महापुरोहित का चुनाव भेंट तथा बलि अर्पण के लिए किया जाता है. इसलिये आवश्यक हो गया कि इस महापुरोहित के पास भी अर्पण के लिए कुछ हो.
For every high priest is appointed in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices, whereupon it is necessary for this man also to have something that he may offer.
4 यदि मसीह येशु पृथ्वी पर होते, वह पुरोहित हो ही नहीं सकते थे क्योंकि यहां व्यवस्था के अनुसार भेंट चढ़ाने के लिए पुरोहित हैं.
For certainly if he were on earth, he would not even be a priest, there being the priests who offer the gifts according to the law,
5 ये वे पुरोहित हैं, जो स्वर्गीय वस्तुओं के प्रतिरूप तथा प्रतिबिंब मात्र की आराधना करते हैं, क्योंकि मोशेह को, जब वह तंबू का निर्माण करने पर थे, परमेश्वर के द्वारा यह चेतावनी दी गई थी: यह ध्यान रखना कि तुम तंबू का निर्माण ठीक-ठीक वैसा ही करो, जैसा तुम्हें पर्वत पर दिखाया गया था,
who serve for an example and shadow of the heavenly things. Just as Moses who was divinely warned while going to complete the tabernacle, for he says, See thou make all things according to the pattern that was shown thee on the mountain.
6 किंतु अब मसीह येशु ने अन्य पुरोहितों की तुलना में कहीं अधिक अच्छी सेवकाई प्राप्त कर ली है: अब वह एक उत्तम वाचा के मध्यस्थ भी हैं, जिसका आदेश उत्तम प्रतिज्ञाओं पर हुआ है.
But now he has obtained a superior ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a superior covenant, which has been enacted upon superior promises.
7 यदि वह पहली वाचा निर्दोष होती तो दूसरी की ज़रूरत ही न होती.
For if that first one was faultless, no place would have been sought for a second.
8 स्वयं परमेश्वर ने उस पीढ़ी को दोषी पाकर यह कहा: “यह देख लेना, वे दिन आ रहे हैं, यह प्रभु की वाणी है, जब मैं इस्राएल वंश के साथ तथा यहूदाह गोत्र के साथ एक नयी वाचा स्थापित करूंगा.
For, finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, and I will perfect a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
9 वैसी नहीं, जैसी मैंने उनके पूर्वजों से उस समय की थी, जब मैंने उनका हाथ पकड़कर उन्हें मिस्र देश से बाहर निकाला था, क्योंकि वे मेरी वाचा में स्थिर नहीं रहे, इसलिये मैं उनसे दूर हो गया, यह प्रभु का कहना है.
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by my hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. Because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord.
10 किंतु मैं इस्राएल के लोगों के साथ यह वाचा बांधूंगा यह प्रभु का कथन है उन दिनों के बाद मैं अपना नियम उनके हृदय में लिखूंगा और उनके मस्तिष्क पर अंकित कर दूंगा. मैं उनका परमेश्वर हो जाऊंगा, तथा वे मेरी प्रजा.
Because this is the covenant that I will ordain with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving my laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be to them for a God, and they will be to me for a people.
11 तब हर एक व्यक्ति अपने पड़ोसी को शिक्षा नहीं देंगे, हर एक व्यक्ति अपने सजातीय को पुनः यह नहीं कहेगा, ‘प्रभु को जान लो,’ क्योंकि वे सभी मुझे जान जाएंगे, छोटे से बड़े तक, यह प्रभु की वाणी है.
And they will, no, not teach each man his fellow citizen, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, because all will know me, from their small as far as their great.
12 क्योंकि मैं उनकी पापिष्ठता क्षमा कर दूंगा तथा इसके बाद उनका पाप मैं पुनः स्मरण ही न करूंगा.”
Because I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins and their lawlessness I will no, not further remember.
13 जब परमेश्वर एक “नई” वाचा का वर्णन कर रहे थे, तब उन्होंने पहले को अनुपयोगी घोषित कर दिया. जो कुछ अनुपयोगी तथा जीर्ण हो रहा है, वह नष्ट होने पर है.
In saying, New, he has made the first old. And what is becoming old and obsolete is near disappearance.
