תהילים 135
| הַלְלוּ ־ יָהּ ׀ הַֽלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁם יְהֹוָה הַֽלְלוּ עַבְדֵי יְהֹוָֽה׃ | 1 |
Praise ye Yah, Praise ye the Name of Yahweh, Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh;
| שֶׁעֹמְדִים בְּבֵית יְהֹוָה בְּחַצְרוֹת בֵּית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ | 2 |
Who stand In the house of Yahweh, In the courts of the house of our God.
| הַֽלְלוּ־יָהּ כִּֽי־טוֹב יְהֹוָה זַמְּרוּ לִשְׁמוֹ כִּי נָעִֽים׃ | 3 |
Praise ye Yah, For good is Yahweh, Sing praises to his Name, For it is full of delight;
| כִּֽי־יַעֲקֹב בָּחַר לוֹ יָהּ יִשְׂרָאֵל לִסְגֻלָּתֽוֹ׃ | 4 |
For, Jacob, hath Yah chosen for himself, Israel, for his own treasure.
| כִּי אֲנִי יָדַעְתִּי כִּֽי־גָדוֹל יְהֹוָה וַאֲדֹנֵינוּ מִכׇּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃ | 5 |
For, I, know that great is Yahweh, yea, our Lord, is beyond all gods.
| כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־חָפֵץ יְהֹוָה עָשָׂה בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ בַּיַּמִּים וְכׇל־תְּהֹמֽוֹת׃ | 6 |
Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done, —in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:
| מַעֲלֶה נְשִׂאִים מִקְצֵה הָאָרֶץ בְּרָקִים לַמָּטָר עָשָׂה מֽוֹצֵא־רוּחַ מֵאֽוֹצְרוֹתָֽיו׃ | 7 |
Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, —Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.
| שֶׁהִכָּה בְּכוֹרֵי מִצְרָיִם מֵאָדָם עַד־בְּהֵמָֽה׃ | 8 |
Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man, and of beast;
| שָׁלַח ׀ אוֹתֹת וּמֹפְתִים בְּתוֹכֵכִי מִצְרָיִם בְּפַרְעֹה וּבְכׇל־עֲבָדָֽיו׃ | 9 |
Sent signs and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
| שֶׁהִכָּה גּוֹיִם רַבִּים וְהָרַג מְלָכִים עֲצוּמִֽים׃ | 10 |
Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings:
| לְסִיחוֹן ׀ מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי וּלְעוֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן וּלְכֹל מַמְלְכוֹת כְּנָֽעַן׃ | 11 |
Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
| וְנָתַן אַרְצָם נַחֲלָה נַחֲלָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל עַמּֽוֹ׃ | 12 |
And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
| יְהֹוָה שִׁמְךָ לְעוֹלָם יְהֹוָה זִכְרְךָ לְדֹר־וָדֹֽר׃ | 13 |
O Yahweh! thy Name, is age-abiding, —O Yahweh! thy memorial, is to generation after generation.
| כִּֽי־יָדִין יְהֹוָה עַמּוֹ וְעַל־עֲבָדָיו יִתְנֶחָֽם׃ | 14 |
For Yahweh will vindicate his people, —and, on his servants, have compassion.
| עֲצַבֵּי הַגּוֹיִם כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב מַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵי אָדָֽם׃ | 15 |
The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:
| פֶּֽה־לָהֶם וְלֹא יְדַבֵּרוּ עֵינַיִם לָהֶם וְלֹא יִרְאֽוּ׃ | 16 |
A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;
| אׇזְנַיִם לָהֶם וְלֹא יַאֲזִינוּ אַף אֵין־יֶשׁ־רוּחַ בְּפִיהֶֽם׃ | 17 |
Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose, —there is no breath in their mouth.
| כְּמוֹהֶם יִהְיוּ עֹשֵׂיהֶם כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־בֹּטֵחַ בָּהֶֽם׃ | 18 |
Like unto them, shall be they who make them, every one who trusteth in them.
| בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה בֵּית אַהֲרֹן בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָֽה׃ | 19 |
O house of Israel! bless Yahweh, O house of Aaron! bless Yahweh;
| בֵּית הַלֵּוִי בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה יִֽרְאֵי יְהֹוָה בָּרְכוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָֽה׃ | 20 |
O house of Levi! bless Yahweh, Ye that revere Yahweh! bless Yahweh.
| בָּרוּךְ יְהֹוָה ׀ מִצִּיּוֹן שֹׁכֵן יְֽרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ | 21 |
Blessed be Yahweh out of Zion, Who inhabiteth Jerusalem, Praise ye Yah!
