1 To, wani mutum mai suna Mika daga ƙasar tudu ta Efraim
There was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
2 ya ce wa mahaifiyarsa, “Shekel dubu ɗaya da ɗari ɗaya na azurfa da aka ɗauka daga gare ki wanda kuma ji kin furta la’ana a kai, azurfan yana wurina; ni ne na ɗauka.” Sa’an nan mahaifiyarsa ta ce, “Ubangiji yă albarkace ka ɗana!”
He said to his mother, “The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears—behold, the silver is with me. I took it.” His mother said, “May the LORD bless my son!”
3 Sa’ad da ya mayar da azurfa dubu ɗaya da ɗari ɗaya na shekel wa mahaifiyarsa, sai ta ce, “Na ba da azurfata ga Ubangiji don ɗana yă sassaƙa sura yă kuma yi zubin gunki. Zan mayar maka.”
He restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, then his mother said, “I most certainly dedicate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a molten image. Now therefore I will restore it to you.”
4 Saboda haka ya mayar da azurfan wa mahaifiyarsa, ita kuwa ta ɗauki azurfa ɗari biyu na shekel ta ba wa maƙeri, wanda ya mai da su sura da kuma gunki. Aka kuwa sa su a gidan Mika.
When he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to a silversmith, who made a carved image and a molten image out of it. It was in the house of Micah.
5 To, wannan mutum Mika yana da ɗakin gumaka, ya yi efod da waɗansu gumaka, ya kuma naɗa ɗaya daga cikin’ya’yansa firist nasa.
The man Micah had a house of gods, and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
6 A kwanakin Isra’ila ba ta da sarki; kowa yana yin abin da ya ga dama.
In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did that which was right in his own eyes.
7 Wani saurayi Balawe daga Betlehem a Yahuda, wanda yake zama cikin zuriyar Yahuda,
There was a young man out of Bethlehem Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he lived there.
8 ya bar garin ya tafi neman inda zai zauna. A hanyarsa ya zo gidan Mika a ƙasar tudu ta Efraim.
The man departed out of the city, out of Bethlehem Judah, to live where he could find a place, and he came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, as he traveled.
9 Mika ya ce masa, “Daga ina kake?” Ya ce, “Ni Balawe ne daga Betlehem a Yahuda, ina kuwa neman wurin zauna ne.”
Micah said to him, “Where did you come from?” He said to him, “I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am looking for a place to live.”
10 Sa’an nan Mika ya ce masa, “Ka zauna tare da ni ka zama mini mahaifi da firist, zan kuwa ba ka azurfa goma na shekel a shekara, tufafinka da kuma abincinka.” Sai Balawen ya tafi.
Micah said to him, “Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.
11 Saboda haka Balawen ya yarda ya zauna tare da shi, ɗan saurayin kuwa ya zama kamar ɗaya daga cikin’ya’yansa.
The Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.
12 Sa’an nan Mika ya naɗa Balawen, saurayin kuwa ya zama masa firist ya kuma zauna a gidansa.
Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
13 Mika ya ce, “Yanzu na san cewa Ubangiji zai yi mini alheri, da yake Balawen nan ya zama firist nawa.”
Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will do good to me, since I have a Levite as my priest.”
