1 Bisa ga umarnin Ubangiji, sai wani mutumin Allah ya zo daga Yahuda zuwa Betel, yayinda Yerobowam yake tsaye kusa da bagade don yă miƙa hadaya.

2 Sai mutumin Allah ya tā da murya a kan bagade bisa ga umarnin Ubangiji ya ce, “Ya bagade, bagade! Ubangiji ya ce, ‘Za a haifi ɗa mai suna Yosiya wa gidan Dawuda. A kanka zai miƙa firistoci na masujadai kan tuddai masu miƙa hadayu a nan, za a kuma ƙone ƙasusuwan mutane a kanka.’”

3 A wannan rana mutumin Allah ya ba da alama, “Ga alamar da Ubangiji ya furta. Wannan bagade zai tsage yă rabu kashi biyu, tokar da yake a kansa za tă zuba a ƙasa.”

6 Sai sarki ya ce wa mutumin Allah, “Ka roƙi Ubangiji Allahnka, ka kuma yi addu’a domina don hannuna ya warke.” Saboda haka mutumin Allah ya yi roƙo ga Ubangiji, hannun sarki kuwa ya warke, ya kuma zama kamar yadda yake a dā.

7 Sai sarki ya ce wa mutumin Allah, “Zo gida tare da ni, ka sami wani abu ka ci, zan kuwa yi maka kyauta.”

10 Saboda haka ya ɗauki wata hanya, bai kuwa koma ta hanyar da ya zo Betel ba.

11 To, fa, akwai wani tsohon annabi yana zama a Betel, wanda’ya’yansa suka zo suka faɗa masa dukan abin da mutumin Allah ya yi a can, a ranar. Suka kuma faɗa wa mahaifinsu abin da ya faɗa wa sarki.

12 Mahaifinsu ya tambaye su ya ce, “Wace hanya ce ya bi?” Sai’ya’yansa suka nuna masa hanyar da mutumin Allah daga Yahuda ya bi.

13 Sai ya ce wa’ya’yansa, “Ku yi wa jakina shimfiɗa.” Da suka yi wa jakin shimfiɗa, sai ya hau.
Pea naʻa ne pehē ki hono ngaahi foha, ʻAi ʻae hekaʻanga ki he ʻasi. Pea naʻa nau ʻai ʻae hekaʻanga ki he ʻasi, pea naʻa ne heka ki ai,
14 Ya bi bayan mutumin Allah. Ya same shi yana zama a ƙarƙashin itace oak, sai ya tambaye shi ya ce, “Kai ne mutumin Allah wanda ya zo daga Yahuda?” Ya amsa, “Ni ne.”

16 Mutumin Allah ya ce, “Ba zan koma tare da kai ba, ko in ci abinci, ko in sha ruwa tare da kai a can ba.
Pea naʻa ne pehē, “ʻE ʻikai te u faʻa foki atu mo koe, pe ʻalu mo koe: pea ʻe ʻikai te u kai ha meʻakai pe inu ha vai mo koe ʻi he potu ni:
17 An faɗa mini ta wurin maganar Ubangiji, ‘Kada ka ci abinci, ko ka sha ruwa a can, ko ka koma ta hanyar da ka zo.’”
He naʻe tala mai ʻi he folofola ʻa Sihova, ʻE ʻikai te ke kai ha mā pe inu ha vai ʻi ai, pe te ke toe liliu atu ke ʻalu ʻi he hala naʻa ke omi ai.”
18 Sai annabin ya amsa, “Ni ma annabi ne, kamar ka. Kuma mala’ika ya ce mini ta wurin kalmar Ubangiji, ‘Dawo da shi zuwa gidanka saboda yă ci abinci, yă kuma sha ruwa.’” (Amma yana masa ƙarya ne.)
Pea naʻe pehē ʻe ia kiate ia, “Ko e palōfita foki au ʻo hangē ko koe; pea naʻe lea mai ha ʻāngelo kiate au ʻi he fekau ʻa Sihova, ʻo pehē, ‘Toe ʻomi ia mo koe ki ho fale, koeʻuhi ke ne kai ha meʻakai mo inu ha vai.’” Ka naʻa ne loi kiate ia.
19 Sai mutumin Allah ya koma tare da shi ya kuma ci ya sha a gidansa.
Ko ia naʻa ne foki atu mo ia, mo ne kai ʻae meʻakai ʻi hono fale, mo ne inu vai.
20 Yayinda suke zaune a teburi, sai maganar Ubangiji ta zo wa tsohon annabin da ya dawo da mutumin Allah.
Pea naʻe hoko ʻo pehē, lolotonga ʻena nofo ʻi he keinangaʻanga, naʻe hoko mai ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova ki he palōfita naʻe fakafoki mai ia:
21 Sai tsohon annabin ya tā da murya wa mutumin Allah wanda ya zo daga Yahuda, “Ga abin da Ubangiji ya ce, ‘Ka ƙazantar da maganar Ubangiji, ba ka kuma kiyaye umarnin Ubangiji Allahnka ba.
Pea naʻa ne ui ki he tangata ʻoe ʻOtua ʻaia naʻe haʻu mei Siuta, ʻo pehē, “ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, Koeʻuhi kuo ke talangataʻa ki he folofola ʻa Sihova, pea kuo ʻikai te ke fai ʻae fekau ʻaia naʻe fekau kiate koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua,
22 Ka dawo ka ci abinci, ka kuma sha ruwa a wurin da na faɗa maka kada ka ci, ko ka sha. Saboda haka ba za a binne jikinka a kabarin kakanninka ba.’”
Ka kuo ke toe foki ki mui, pea kuo ke kai ʻae meʻakai mo inu ʻae vai ʻi he potu, ʻaia naʻe pehē ai kiate koe, ‘ʻOua naʻa ke kai ha meʻakai, pe inu ha vai;’ ʻe ʻikai hoko ho ʻangaʻanga ki he fonua loto ʻo hoʻo ngaahi tamai.”
23 Sa’ad da mutumin Allah ya gama ci da sha, sai annabin da ya dawo da shi ya yi wa jakin mutumin Allah shimfiɗa.
Pea naʻe hoko ʻo pehē, hili ʻa ʻene kai ʻae meʻakai pea hili mo ʻene inu, naʻa ne ʻai ʻae hekaʻanga ki he ʻasi, maʻae palōfita naʻa ne fakafoki mai.
24 Yayinda yake kan hanyarsa, sai wani zaki ya sadu da shi ya kashe shi, aka kuma jefar da jikinsa a kan hanya, jakin da zakin suka tsaya kusa da gawar.
Pea ʻi heʻene ʻalu, naʻe fetaulaki mai kiate ia ha laione ʻi he hala, ʻo ne tāmateʻi ia: pea naʻe tō hifo ʻa hono ʻangaʻanga ʻi he hala pea naʻe tuʻu ofi ki ai ʻae ʻasi, pea naʻe tuʻu foki ʻae laione ʻo ofi atu ki he ʻangaʻanga.
25 Waɗansu mutane masu wucewa suka ga an yar da gawar a can, zaki yana tsaye kusa da gawar, sai suka tafi suka ba da labarin a birni inda tsohon annabin nan yake zama.
Pea vakai, naʻe ʻalu atu ai ha kau tangata, ʻonau mamata ki he ʻangaʻanga naʻe lī ʻi he hala, pea mo e laione naʻe tuʻu ofi atu ki he ʻangaʻanga: pea naʻa nau omi ʻo tala ia ʻi he kolo ʻaia naʻe nofo ai ʻae motuʻa palōfita.
26 Sa’ad da annabin da ya dawo da mutumin Allah ya ji, sai ya ce, “Mutumin Allah ne, wanda ya ƙazantar da maganar Ubangiji. Ubangiji ya bashe shi ga zaki, wanda ya yayyage shi ya kuma kashe shi, kamar yadda maganar Ubangiji ta gargaɗe shi.”
Pea ʻi heʻene fanongo ki ai ʻae palōfita ʻaia naʻe fakafoki mai ia mei he hala, naʻe pehē ʻe ia, “Ko e tangata ʻoe ʻOtua ia, ʻaia naʻe talangataʻa ki he folofola ʻa Sihova: ko ia kuo tukuange ai ia ki he laione, ʻaia kuo maumauʻi ia, mo tāmateʻi ia, ʻo hangē ko e folofola ʻa Sihova, ʻaia naʻa ne folofolaʻaki kiate ia.”
27 Sai annabin ya ce wa’ya’yansa, “Ku yi wa jakina shimfiɗa.” Sai suka yi.
Pea naʻe lea ia ki hono ngaahi foha, ʻo pehē, “ʻAi ʻae hekaʻanga ki he ʻasi maʻaku.” Pea naʻa nau ʻai ʻae hekaʻanga.
28 Sai ya fita ya sami an jefar da gawar a hanya, jakin da zakin suna tsaye kusa da shi. Zakin bai ci gawar ko yă yayyage jakin ba.
Pea naʻa ne ʻalu ʻo ʻilo ʻa hono ʻangaʻanga kuo lī ʻi he hala, pea tutuʻu ʻae ʻasi mo e laione ʻo vāofi mo e ʻangaʻanga: naʻe ʻikai keina ʻe he laione ʻae ʻangaʻanga, pe [te ne ]haehae ʻae ʻasi.
29 Saboda haka annabin ya ɗauki gawar mutumin Allah, ya shimfiɗa shi a kan jaki, ya koma da shi cikin birninsa don yă yi makokinsa yă kuma binne shi.
Pea naʻe toʻo hake ʻe he palōfita ʻae ʻangaʻanga ʻoe tangata ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻo ne fakaheka ia ki he ʻasi, ʻo ne toe ʻomi ia: pea naʻe haʻu ʻae motuʻa palōfita ki he kolo, ke ne tēngihia ia pea ke fai hono putu.
30 Sai ya kwantar da gawar a kabarinsa, suka yi makoki a kansa, ya kuma ce, “Ayya, abokina!”
Pea naʻa ne tuku hono sino ki hono faʻitoka ʻoʻona; pea naʻa nau tēngihia ia, ʻo pehē, “ʻOiauē! ʻA hoku kāinga!”
31 Bayan an binne shi, sai ya ce wa’ya’yansa, “Sa’ad da na mutu, ku binne ni a kabarin da aka binne mutumin Allah; ku kwantar da ƙasusuwana kusa da ƙasusuwansa.
Pea naʻe hoko ʻo pehē, hili ʻa ʻene tanu ia, naʻa ne lea ki hono ngaahi foha, ʻo pehē, “ʻO kau ka mate au, te mou toki tanu au ʻi he fonua loto ʻaia kuo tanu ai ʻae tangata ʻoe ʻOtua; tuku fakataha ʻa hoku ngaahi hui mo hono ngaahi hui:”
32 Gama annabcin da ya yi ta maganar Ubangiji gāba da bagaden da yake cikin Betel da kuma wuraren sujada a tuddan da suke a biranen Samariya, ba shakka zai cika.”
Koeʻuhi ko e lea naʻa ne kalanga ʻaki ʻi he folofola ʻa Sihova ki he feilaulauʻanga ʻi Peteli, pea ki he ngaahi fale kotoa pē ʻi he ngaahi potu māʻolunga, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi kolo ʻo Samelia, ʻe hoko moʻoni ia ʻo fai.
33 Har ma bayan wannan, Yerobowam bai canja daga mugayen hanyoyinsa ba, amma ya ƙara naɗa firistoci domin masujadai da suke kan tuddai daga kowane irin mutane. Duk wanda ya so yă zama firist sai yă naɗa shi don aiki a masujadai da suke kan tuddai.

34 Wannan ne zunubin gidan Yerobowam da ya kai ga fāɗuwarsa da kuma hallakarsa daga fuskar duniya.
Pea naʻe hoko ʻae meʻa ni ko e angahala ki he fale ʻo Selopoami, ke motuhi ai ia, pea ke fakaʻauha ia mei he funga ʻo māmani.
