< Sòm 11 >

1 Pou direktè koral la; yon sòm David Se nan SENYÈ a ke m kache. Kijan ou kapab di a nanm mwen: “Sove ale kon yon zwazo nan mòn ou;
To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain?
2 Paske, gade byen, mechan yo koube banza, Yo fè flèch yo parèt sou kòd la, pou tire nan fènwa sou (sila) ak kè ki dwat yo.
For, lo, the wicked bend [their] bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 Si fondasyon yo vin detwi, se kisa moun dwat yo kab fè?”
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 SENYÈ a nan sen tanp Li an. SENYÈ a sou twon Li nan syèl la. Zye Li veye. Pòpyè zye Li sonde fis a lòm yo.
The LORD [is] in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne [is] in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 SENYÈ a sonde (sila) ki jis yo avèk (sila) ki mechan yo; men (sila) ki renmen vyolans, Li rayi nan kè L.
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6 Sou mechan yo, Li va voye chabon cho tankou lapli; dife avèk souf avèk chabon brile va mele nan bwason yo.
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: [this shall be] the portion of their cup.
7 Paske Bondye dwat. Li renmen ladwati. (Sila) ki kanpe dwat yo va wè figi Li.
For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
