< Matye 25 >
Then will be likened the kingdom of the heavens to ten virgins who having taken the lamps (their own *N(k)O*) went forth to (meet *N(k)O*) the bridegroom.
2 Senk nan yo te tèt chaje, senk lòt yo te gen bon konprann.
Five now of them were foolish and (the [other] *k*) five wise;
3 Tèt chaje yo te pran lanp yo ase. Yo pa t' pote gaz an rezèv.
(Those [who] *N(k)O*) (for *no*) foolish having taken the lamps (of them *N(k)O*) not did take with their own oil,
but the wise took oil in the vessels (of them *k*) with the lamps (their own. *N(k)O*)
5 Pandan yo t'ap tann msye marye a ki te an reta, yo tout pran kabicha, dòmi vòlò yo.
As was tarrying then the bridegroom they became drowsy all and were sleeping.
6 Nan mitan lannwit lan, yon rèl pati: Men msye marye a. Ann al kontre li.
At middle then of [the] night a cry there was: Behold the bridegroom (comes *k*) do go forth to meet him!
7 Dis jennfi yo leve, yo pran pare lanp yo.
Then arose all the virgins those and trimmed the lamps (their own. *N(k)O*)
8 Tèt chaje yo mande sak gen bon konprann yo: Tanpri, ban nou ti gout nan gaz nou pote a, paske lanp pa nou yo ap mouri.
And the foolish to the wise said; do give us of the oil of you, for the lamps of us are going out.
Pito n' al achte nan men machann yo.
Answered then the wise saying; otherwise otherwise certainly (not even *no*) it may suffice for us and you. do go (now *k*) rather to those selling and do buy for yourselves.
[While] are going away then they to buy came the bridegroom, and those ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and was shut the door.
11 Pita, lòt jennfi yo vin rive, yo di konsa: Mèt, Mèt, louvri pou nou.
Afterward then come also the other virgins saying; lord lord, do open to us!
12 Men msye marye a reponn yo: Sa m'ap di nou la a, se vre wi: m' pa konnen nou.
And answering he said; Amen I say to you; not I do know you.
do watch therefore, for neither do you know the day nor [know] the hour (in who son of man comes. *K*)
Li rele domestik li yo, li mete yo reskonsab byen li yo.
[It is] like for a man going on a journey [who] called [his] own servants and delivered to them the possessions of him.
15 Li bay yonn senkmil (5.000) goud, li bay yon lòt demil (2.000) goud, li bay yon twazyèm mil (1.000) goud.
And to one indeed he gave five talents, to one however two, to one however one, to each according to the [their] own ability; and he left the region. immediately
16 Lamenm, domestik ki te resevwa senkmil (5.000) goud la al fè lajan an travay. Li rapòte l' senkmil (5.000) goud benefis.
Having gone (now *ko*) the [one] the five talents having received he traded with them and (he gained *N(k)O*) more five (talents; *K*)
Likewise (and *ko*) the [one with] the two gained (and he [gained] *k*) more two.
however one having received having gone away he dug in (in the *k*) (ground *N(k)O*) and (he hid *N(k)O*) the money of the master of him.
19 Lontan apre sa, mèt domestik yo tounen, li pran fè regleman ak yo.
After then much time comes the master of the servants those and takes account with them.
20 Domestik ki te resevwa senkmil goud la pwoche, li pote senkmil goud benefis la ba li, li di: Mèt, ou te ban mwen senkmil goud. Men senkmil goud benefis mwen fè.
And having come the [one] the five talents having received he brought to [him] other five talents saying; Master, five talents to me you did deliver; Behold more five talents I gained (upon them. *k*)
was saying (now *k*) to him the master of Him; Well done, servant good and faithful! Over a few things you were faithful, over many things you will I set. do enter into the joy of the master of you!
Having come then also the [one] with the two talents (having taken *k*) he said; Master, two talents to me you did deliver; Behold more two talents I gained (upon them. *k*)
was saying to him the master of Him; Well done, servant good and faithful! Over a few things you were faithful, over many things you will I set. do enter into the joy of the master of you!
Having come then also the one talent having received he said; Master, I knew you that hard you are a man reaping where not you did sow and gathering from where not you did scatter;
25 Mwen te pè, se sak fè mwen te al sere mil goud ou a anba tè. Men, pran lajan ou.
And having been afraid having gone away I hid the talent of you in the ground; Behold you have what [is] yours.
answering now the master of him said to him; Wicked servant and lazy! You knew that I reap where not I sowed and I gather from where not I scattered?
Lè m' ta tounen, mwen ta wete manman lajan an ak yon enterè sou li.
It was necessary you therefore to put (the coins *N(k)O*) of mine to the bankers, and having come I myself received then would my own with interest.
28 Wete mil goud la nan men l', pran l' bay sa ki gen dimil (10.000) goud la.
do take therefore from him the talent and do give [it] to the [one] having the ten talents.
29 Paske, moun ki genyen deja a, y'a ba li ankò; konsa la gen depase sa l' bezwen an. Men, moun ki pa gen anyen an, y'a wete nan men l' menm ti sa l' te genyen an.
For having to everyone will be given and he will have in abundance; (from *k*) the [one] however not having, even that which he has will be taken away from him.
30 Kanta domestik ki pa vo anyen an, jete l' deyò nan fènwa a. Se lè sa a va gen rèl, se lè sa a va gen manje dan.
And the worthless servant (do cast out *N(k)O*) into the darkness outer; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
31 Lè Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a va vini nan tout bèl pouvwa li ak tout zanj li yo, la chita sou fotèy li ak tout bèl pouvwa li.
When then may come the Son of Man in the glory of Him and all the (holy *K*) angels with Him, then He will sit upon [the] throne of glory of Him,
32 Tout nasyon ki sou latè va sanble devan li. Lè sa a, la separe yo fè de gwoup, menm jan moun k'ap gade mouton mete mouton yon bò, kabrit yon bò.
And (they will be gathered *N(k)O*) before Him all the nations, and He will separate them from one another as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats,
33 La mete mouton yo sou bò dwat li, kabrit yo sou bò gòch li.
And He will set indeed the sheep on [the] right hand of Him, however the goats on [the] left.
34 Apre sa, wa a va pale ak sa ki sou bò dwat li yo, la di: Vini non, nou menm ki resevwa benediksyon Papa m', vin pran posesyon peyi ki te pare pou nou depi lè Bondye t'ap kreye lemonn lan.
Then will say the King to those on [the] right hand of Him; Come you who [are] blessed of the Father of mine, do inherit the prepared for you kingdom from [the] foundation of [the] world.
35 Mwen te grangou, nou ban m' manje; mwen te swaf dlo, nou ban m' bwè. Mwen te lwen peyi m', nou te resevwa m' lakay nou.
I hungered for and you gave Me to eat, I thirsted and you gave to drink me, a stranger I was and you took in Me,
36 Mwen te toutouni, nou te ban m' rad. Mwen te malad, nou pran swen m'; mwen te nan prizon, nou vin wè mwen.
naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, in prison I was and you came to Me.
37 Lè sa a, moun ki te fè byen yo va reponn li: Mèt, kilè nou te wè ou grangou pou n' te ba ou manje? Kilè nou te wè ou swaf dlo pou nou te ba ou bwè?
Then will answer Him the righteous saying; Lord, when You saw we hungering and fed [You] Or thirsting and gave [You] to drink?
38 Kilè nou te wè ou lwen peyi ou, pou nou te resevwa ou lakay nou? Osinon toutouni, pou n' te ba ou rad?
When now You saw we a stranger and took [You] in Or naked and clothed [You]?
When now You saw we (ailing *N(k)O*) or in prison and came to You?
40 Wa a va reponn yo: Sa m'ap di nou la a, se vre wi: chak fwa nou te fè sa pou yonn nan pi piti pami frè m' yo, se pou mwen nou te fè li.
And answering the King will say to them; Amen I say to you; to the extent as much as you did [it] to one of these the brothers of Mine of the least, to Me myself you did [it].
Al nan dife ki p'ap janm mouri an, dife ki te pare pou dyab la ak zanj li yo. (aiōnios )
Then will He say also to those on [the] left; do depart from Me you who [are] cursed into the fire eternal which prepared for the devil and the angels of him. (aiōnios )
42 Mwen te grangou, nou pa t' ban m' manje, mwen te swaf dlo, nou pa t' ban m' bwè.
I hungered for and nothing you gave to Me to eat, (and *o*) I thirsted and nothing You gave to drink Me,
a stranger I was and not You took in Me, naked and not you did clothe Me, sick and in prison and not did you visit Me.
44 Lè sa a, y'a reponn li: Mèt, kilè nou te wè ou grangou, osinon swaf dlo, kilè nou te wè ou lwen peyi ou, osinon toutouni, kilè nou te wè ou malad osinon nan prizon, jouk pou nou pa t' ba ou lasistans?
Then will answer (to him *k*) also themselves saying; Lord, when You saw we hungering or thirsting or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and not did minister to You?
45 Wa a va reponn yo: Sa m'ap di nou la a, se vre wi: chak fwa nou pa t' fè sa pou yonn nan pi piti sa yo, se pou mwen nou pa t' fè li.
Then will He answer to them saying; Amen I say to you; to the extent as much as not you did [it] to one of these the least, neither to Me myself did you.
46 Apre sa, l'ap voye yo resevwa chatiman ki p'ap janm fini an. Men, pou moun ki te fè byen yo, y'ap antre nan lavi ki p'ap janm fini an. (aiōnios )
And will go away these into punishment eternal, but the righteous into life eternal. (aiōnios )
