Ezayi 12

1 Jou sa a, w'a pran chante: -M'ap fè lwanj ou, Seyè! Ou te move sou mwen. Men koulye a, ou pa fache ankò. W'ap ban m' kouraj.

At that time, you [people of Jerusalem] will sing [this song]: “Yahweh, we praise you! [Previously], you were angry with us, but you are not angry now and you have comforted us.

2 Se Bondye ki delivre m'! Mwen gen konfyans nan li. Kè m' pa kase ankò! Se Seyè a ki tout fòs mwen. Se pou li m'ap chante. Se li menm ki delivre m'!

Amazingly, you [have come to] save us, [so] we will trust [in you] and not be afraid. Yahweh our God, you enable us to be strong; you are [the one about whom] we sing; you have rescued us [from our enemies].”

3 Menm jan kè pèp la kontan lè y' apral pran dlo nan sous, se konsa y'a kontan lè Bondye ap delivre yo.

You(pl), [his people], will greatly enjoy being saved like [MET] you enjoy drinking water from a fountain.

4 Jou sa a, n'a pran chante: Ann di Bondye mèsi! Ann lapriyè nan pye l'! Fè tout nasyon yo konnen sa li fè.

At that time you [all] will say, “We should thank Yahweh! We should praise him [MTY]! We should tell [the people of all] the people-groups what he has done; we should enable them to know that he [MTY] is very great!

5 Chante pou Seyè a, paske li fè gwo mèvèy. Fè tout moun sou latè konn sa!

We should sing to Yahweh, because he has done wonderful things. We should enable everyone in the world to know it!

6 Nou menm ki rete sou mòn Siyon an, rele, fè fèt! Bondye pèp Izrayèl la se yon Bondye apa, li gen anpil pouvwa. Se nan mitan nou li rete.

You people of Jerusalem, shout joyfully to praise Yahweh, because he is the great Holy One whom we Israeli [people worship], and he lives among us!”
