હઝકિયેલ 40
1 ૧ અમારા બંદીવાસના પચીસમા વર્ષે તે વર્ષની શરૂઆતના મહિનાના દસમા દિવસે એટલે નગરનો પરાજય થયા પછી ચૌદમા દિવસે યહોવાહનો હાથ મારા પર આવ્યો અને તે મને ત્યાં લાવ્યો.
And it came to pass in the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the first month, on the tenth [day] of the month, in the fourteenth year after the taking of the city, in that day the hand of the Lord was upon me, and brought me
2 ૨ સંદર્શનમાં ઈશ્વરે મને ઇઝરાયલ દેશમાં લાવ્યા. ઊંચા પર્વત પર દક્ષિણે એક નગર જેવું મકાન હતું તેના પર મને બેસાડ્યો.
in a vision of God into the land of Israel, and set me on a very high mountain, and upon it [there was] as it were the frame of a city before [me].
3 ૩ તે મને ત્યાં લાવ્યા. જુઓ, ત્યાં પિત્તળની જેમ એક ચળકતો માણસ હતો. તેના હાથમાં માપવા માટે શણની દોરી તથા માપદંડ હતાં, તે નગરના દરવાજા આગળ ઊભો હતો.
And he brought me in thither, and, behold, [there was] a man, and the appearance of him was as the appearance of shining brass, and in his hand was a builder's line, and a measuring reed; and he stood at the gate.
4 ૪ તે માણસે મને કહ્યું, “હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, તારી આંખોથી જો, કાનથી સાંભળ, હું તને જે કંઈ બતાવું તેના પર તારું મન લગાડ, કેમ કે, હું તને તે બતાવું એ માટે હું તને અહીં લાવ્યો છું. તું જે જુએ છે તે બધું ઇઝરાયલી લોકોને જણાવ.”
And the man said to me, Look with thine eyes at him whom thou hast seen, son of man, and hear with thine ears, and lay up in thine heart all things that I show thee; for thou hast come in hither that [I] might show thee, and thou shalt show all things that thou seest to the house of Israel.
5 ૫ સભાસ્થાનની ચારે તરફ દીવાલ હતી. એનો માપદંડ માણસના હાથમાં હતો, એક હાથ અને ચાર આંગળાનો એક, એવા છ હાથનો લાંબો માપવાનો માપદંડ તે માણસના હાથમાં હતો; તેણે તે દીવાલની પહોળાઈ માપી, તે એક લાકડી જેટલી હતી, ઊંચાઈ પણ એક લાકડી જેટલી હતી.
And behold a wall round about the house without, and in the man's hand a reed, the measure [of it was] six cubits by the cubit, and a span: and he measured across the front wall; the breadth was equal to the reed, and the length of it equal to the reed.
6 ૬ ત્યાર બાદ તે પૂર્વ તરફના દરવાજે ગયો અને તેના પગથિયાં ચઢીને તેણે ઉંબરાનું માપ લીધું તો તે એક માપ પહોળો હતો.
And he entered by seven steps into the gate that looks eastward, and he measured across the porch of the gate equal to the reed.
7 ૭ રક્ષકોની ખંડ એક માપ દંડ જેટલી લાંબી અને એક માપ દંડ જેટલી પહોળી હતી. રક્ષક ખંડોની વચ્ચે પાંચ હાથનું અંતર હતું, સભાસ્થાન તરફ જતી અંદરની પરસાળ એક માપ દંડ લાંબી હતી.
And the chamber was equal in length to the reed, and equal in breadth to the reed; and the porch between the chambers six cubits; and the second chamber equal in breadth to the reed, and equal in length to the reed, and the porch five cubits.
And the third chamber equal in length to the reed, and equal in breadth to the reed.
9 ૯ પછી તેણે દરવાજાની મોટી પરસાળ માપી; તે આઠ હાથ થઈ. અને તેના થાંભલા બે હાથ લંબાઈ જેટલા જાડા હતા. આ પરસાળ સભાસ્થાન તરફ જતી હતી.
And the porch of the gateway (near the porch of the gate) eight cubits; and the posts there of two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward:
10 ૧૦ રક્ષકોની ખંડો આ બાજુએ ત્રણ અને બીજી બાજુએ ત્રણ હતી, તે એક જ માપની હતી, તેમની દીવાલોનું માપ પણ બધી બાજુએ સરખું હતું.
and the chambers of the gate of the chamber in front [were] three on one side and three on the other, and [there was] one measure to the three: [there was] one measure to the porches on this side and on that.
And he measured the breadth of the door of the gateway, ten cubits; and the breadth of the gateway thirteen cubits.
12 ૧૨ દરેક ખંડ આગળ એક હાથ ઊંચી અને એક હાથ પહોળી પાળી હતી. ખંડો આ બાજુ છ હાથ લાંબા અને છ હાથ પહોળા હતા.
And the space before the chambers was narrowed to a cubit in front of the chambers on this side and on that side: and the chamber was six cubits this way, and six cubits that way.
13 ૧૩ પછી તેણે દરવાજો એક ખંડના છાપરાથી તે બીજી ખંડના છાપરા સુધી માપ્યો, એક દરવાજાથી સામેના દરવાજા સુધીનું માપ પચીસ હાથ હતું.
And he measured the gate from the wall of one chamber to the wall of the other chamber: the breadth was twenty-five cubits, the one gate over against the other gate.
14 ૧૪ તેણે દીવાલ બનાવી હતી, તે સાઠ હાથની હતી; તેનું આંગણું દીવાલ સુધી પહોંચેલું હતું, તે દરવાજાની આસપાસ હતું.
And the open space of the porch of the gate without, was twenty cubits to the chambers round about the gate.
And the open space of the gate without to the open space of the porch of the gate within was fifty cubits.
16 ૧૬ પરસાળની બન્ને તરફ તથા ખંડની ચારે તરફ જાળીઓ હતી. તે પરસાળને પણ હતી, અંદરની બાજુએ બારીઓ હતી. ત્યાં દીવાલો પર ખજૂરીનાં વૃક્ષો કોતરેલાં હતાં.
And [there were] secret windows to the chambers, and to the porches within the gate of the court round about, and in the same manner windows to the porches round about within: and on the porch [there were] palm-trees on this side and on that side.
17 ૧૭ ત્યાર બાદ તે માણસ મને સભાસ્થાનના બહારના આંગણાંમાં લાવ્યો. તો જુઓ, આંગણાંની ચારેબાજુ ઓરડીઓ તથા ફરસબંધી બનાવેલી હતી ફરસબંધી પર ત્રીસ ઓરડીઓ હતી.
And he brought me into the inner court, and, behold, [there were] chambers, and peristyles round about the court; thirty chambers within the ranges of columns.
And the porticos were behind the gates; according to the length of the gates, was the lower peristyle.
19 ૧૯ નીચલા દરવાજાની આગળના ભાગથી તે અંદરના દરવાજાની આગળ ભાગ સુધીનું તેણે અંતર માપ્યું; તે પૂર્વ તરફ સો હાથ હતું, ઉત્તર તરફ પણ સરખું હતું.
And he measured the breadth of the court, from the open space of the outer gate inwards to the open space of the gate looking outwards: a hundred cubits [was the distance to the place] of the gate looking eastward: and he brought me to the north;
20 ૨૦ ત્યારે તેણે બહારના આંગણાનો દરવાજો જેનું મુખ ઉત્તર તરફ છે તે માપ્યો, તેની લંબાઈ તથા તેની પહોળાઈ તેણે માપી.
and behold a gate looking northwards [belonging to] the outer court, and he measured it, both the length of it and the breadth;
21 ૨૧ તેની ખંડો આ બાજુએ ત્રણ અને બીજી બાજુએ ત્રણ હતા, દરવાજા અને પરસાળનાં માપ પૂર્વ તરફના દરવાજાના માપ પ્રમાણે જ હતાં, લંબાઈ પચાસ હાથ અને પહોળાઈ પચીસ હાથ હતી.
and the chambers, three on this side and three on that; and the posts, and the porches, and the palm-trees thereof: and they were according to the measures of the gate that looks eastward: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof was twenty-five cubits.
22 ૨૨ તેની બારીઓ, પરસાળ, ખંડ તથા તેના ખજૂરીવૃક્ષની કોતરણી, પૂર્વના દરવાજાના જેવી હતી. ત્યાં સાત પગથિયાં ચઢીને જવાતું હતું, તેની પરસાળ તેમની આગળ હતી.
And its windows, and its porches, and its palm-trees, were according to [the dimensions of] the gate looking eastward; and they went up to it by seven steps; and the porches were within.
23 ૨૩ અંદરના આંગણાને દરવાજો હતો, તે ઉત્તરના તથા પૂર્વના દરવાજાની સામે હતો; તેણે એક દરવાજાથી બીજા દરવાજા વચ્ચેનું અંતર માપ્યું તે સો હાથ હતું.
And [there was] a gate to the inner court looking toward the north gate, after the manner of the gate looking toward the east; and he measured the court from gate to gate, a hundred cubits.
24 ૨૪ પછી તે માણસ મને દક્ષિણના દરવાજે લાવ્યો, તેની દીવાલો તથા પરસાળનું માપ બીજા દરવાજાઓના માપ જેટલું હતું.
And he brought me to the south side, and behold a gate looking southwards: and he measured it, and its chambers, and its posts, and its porches, according to these dimensions.
25 ૨૫ તેમાં અને તેની પરસાળમાં પણ બીજા દરવાજાઓની જેમ બારીઓ હતી. દક્ષિણનો દરવાજો તથા તેની પરસાળની લંબાઈ પચાસ હાથ અને પહોળાઈ પચીસ હાથ હતી.
And its windows and its porches round about were according to the windows of the porch: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof was five and twenty cubits.
26 ૨૬ ત્યાં સાત પગથિયાં ચઢીને જવાતું હતું, તેની આગળ પરસાળ હતી. દીવાલો પર ખજૂરીનાં વૃક્ષો કોતરેલાં હતાં.
And it had seven steps, and porches within: and it [had] palm-trees on the posts, one on one side, and one on the other side.
27 ૨૭ દક્ષિણ તરફ અંદરના આંગણાંમાં દરવાજો હતો. પેલા માણસે આ બીજા દરવાજા સુધીનું અંતર માપ્યું તો તે સો હાથ હતું.
And [there was] a gate opposite the gate of the inner court southward: and he measured the court from gate to gate, a hundred cubits in breadth southward.
28 ૨૮ ત્યાર બાદ તે માણસ મને દક્ષિણના દરવાજામાં થઈને અંદરના આંગણાંમાં લાવ્યો. તેણે તે દરવાજો માપ્યો તો તેનું માપ બીજા દરવાજા જેટલું જ હતું.
And he brought me into the inner court of the south gate: and he measured the gate according to these measures;
29 ૨૯ આ દરવાજાની ખંડો, દીવાલો તથા પરસાળનું માપ બીજા દરવાજા પ્રમાણે હતું; પરસાળની આસપાસ બારીઓ હતી. અંદરનો દરવાજો તથા તેની પરસાળની લંબાઈ પચાસ હાથ અને પહોળાઈ પચીસ હાથ હતી.
and the chambers, and the posts,
and the porches, according to these measures: and [there were] windows to it and to the porches round about: its length was fifty cubits, and [its] breadth twenty-five cubits,
31 ૩૧ તેની પરસાળનું મુખ બહારના આંગણાં તરફ હતું તેના પર પણ ખજૂરીવૃક્ષ કોતરેલાં હતાં. ત્યાં આઠ પગથિયાં ચઢીને જવાતું હતું.
from the porch to the outer court: and [there were] palm-trees to the post [thereof], and eight steps.
32 ૩૨ પછી તે મને અંદરના આંગણાંમાં પૂર્વ તરફ લાવ્યો; તેણે તે દરવાજો માપ્યો; તે ઉપરના માપ પ્રમાણે થયો.
And he brought me in at the gate that looks eastward: and he measured it according to these measures:
33 ૩૩ તેની ખંડો, દીવાલો અને પરસાળનું માપ બીજા દરવાજાના માપ જેટલાં જ હતાં, તેની આસપાસ બારીઓ હતી. અંદર દરવાજાની અને પરસાળની લંબાઈ પચાસ હાથ અને પહોળાઈ પચીસ હાથ હતી.
and the chambers, and the posts, and the porches according to these measures: and [there were] windows to it, and porches round about: the length of it was fifty cubits, and the breadth of it twenty-five cubits.
34 ૩૪ તેની પરસાળનું મુખ બહારના આંગણાંની સામેનું હતું. તેની બન્ને બાજુ ખજૂરીનાં વૃક્ષો કોતરેલાં હતાં. આઠ પગથિયાં ચઢીને ઉપર જવાતું હતું.
And [there were] porches [opening] into the inner court, and palm-trees on the posts on this side and on that side: and it [had] eight steps.
35 ૩૫ પછી તે માણસ મને ઉત્તર તરફના દરવાજે લાવ્યો. તેણે તે માપ્યો; તેનું માપ બીજા દરવાજાઓના માપ પ્રમાણે હતું.
And he brought me in at the northern gate, and measured [it] according to these measures;
36 ૩૬ તેની ખંડો, દીવાલો, પરસાળ પણ બીજા દરવાજાના માપ પ્રમાણે હતા, તેની આસપાસ બારીઓ હતી. આ દરવાજાની લંબાઈ પણ પચાસ હાથ અને પહોળાઇ પચીસ હાથ હતી.
and the chambers, and the posts, and the porches: and it [had] windows round about, and [it had] its porches: the length of it was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.
37 ૩૭ પરસાળનું મુખ બહારના આંગણાની સામે હતું; અને તેની બન્ને તરફ ખજૂરીવૃક્ષની કોતરણી હતી. ત્યાં આઠ પગથિયાં ચઢીને જવાતું હતું.
And its porches were toward the inner court; and [there were] palm-trees to the posts on this side and on that side: and it [had] eight steps.
Its chambers and its door-ways, and its porches at the second gate [served as] a drain,
39 ૩૯ ત્યાં દરેક ઓસરીની આ બાજુએ બે અને પેલી બાજુએ બે મેજ એમ ચાર મેજ હતાં, તેની ઉપર દહનીયાર્પણ, પાપાર્થાર્પણ તથા દોષાર્થાર્પણ કાપવામાં આવતાં હતા.
that they might slay in it the sin-offerings, and the trespass-offerings.
40 ૪૦ આંગણાની દીવાલ પાસે, ઉત્તરના દરવાજે ચઢી જવાની સીડી આગળ બે મેજ હતી. બીજી બાજુએ દરવાજાની ઓસરીમાં બે મેજ હતી.
And behind the drain for the whole-burnt-offerings at the north [gate], two tables eastward behind the second gate; and [behind] the porch of the gate two tables eastward.
41 ૪૧ દરવાજાની આ બાજુએ ચાર મેજ અને પેલી બાજુએ ચાર મેજ; એમ દરવાજાની બાજુએ કુલ આઠ મેજ હતી. જેના ઉપર પશુઓને કાપવામાં આવતાં હતાં.
Four on one side and four on the other side behind the gate; upon them they kill the victims, in front of the eight tables of sacrifices.
42 ૪૨ ત્યાં દહનીયાર્પણ માટે ઘડેલા પથ્થરની ચાર મેજ હતી. તે દોઢ હાથ લાંબી, દોઢ હાથ પહોળી અને એક હાથ ઊંચી હતી. તેના ઉપર દહનીયાપર્ણો તથા બલિદાન કાપવાનાં હથિયારો મૂકાતાં હતાં.
And [there were] four tables of hewn stone for whole-burnt-offerings, the breadth [of them was] a cubit and a half, and the length [of them] two cubits [and] a half, and [their] height was a cubit: on them they shall place the instruments with which they slay there the whole-burnt-offerings and the victims.
And they shall have within a border of hewn stone round about of a span broad, and over the tables above screens for covering [them] from the wet and from the heat.
44 ૪૪ અંદરના દરવાજાની પાસે, અંદરના આંગણામાં ગાયકોને સારુ ઓરડીઓ હતી. એક ઓરડી ઉત્તર બાજુ અને બીજી ઓરડી દક્ષિણ બાજુ હતી.
And he brought me into the inner court, and behold [there were] two chambers in the inner court, one behind the gate looking to the north, turning southward, and one behind the southern gate, but which looks to the north.
And he said to me, This chamber that looks to the south, is for the priests that keep the charge of the house.
46 ૪૬ ઉત્તર તરફ મુખવાળી ઓરડી વેદીની સંભાળ રાખનાર યાજકો માટે છે, તેઓ સાદોકના વંશજો છે, જેઓ યહોવાહની સેવા કરવા પાસે જઈ શકે છે, તેઓ લેવીના વંશજો છે.”
And the chamber that looks to the north is for the priests that keep the charge of the altar: they are the sons of Sadduc, those of the tribe of Levi who draw near to the Lord to serve him.
And he measured the court, the length [whereof was] a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, on its four sides; and the altar in front of the house.
48 ૪૮ પછી તે માણસ મને સભાસ્થાનની ઓસરીમાં લાવ્યો અને તેની બારસાખો માપી તો તે પાંચ હાથ લાંબી તથા પાંચ હાથ પહોળી હતી. દરેક બાજુની દીવાલ ત્રણ હાથ પહોળી હતી.
And he brought me into the porch of the house; and he measured the post of the porch, the breadth was five cubits on one side and five cubits on the other side; and the breadth of the door [was] fourteen cubits, and the side-pieces of the door of the porch [were] three cubits on one side, and three cubits on the other side.
49 ૪૯ ઓસરીની લંબાઈ વીસ હાથ તથા પહોળાઇ અગિયાર હાથ હતી. ત્યાં પગથિયાં પર ચઢીને જવાતું હતું. તેની બન્ને બાજુએ એક એક થાંભલો હતો.
And the length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth twelve cubits; and they went up to it by ten steps; and [there were] pillars to the porch, one on this side and one on that side.
