1 ૧ દ્વારપાળોની ટુકડીઓ નીચે દર્શાવ્યાં પ્રમાણે પાડવામાં આવી હતી: કોરાહીઓમાં, આસાફના પુત્રોમાંના કોરેનો પુત્ર મશેલેમ્યા.
For the divisions of the doorkeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Abiasaph.
Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
Obed-Edom had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sakar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him.
Also to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.
The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, and Elzabad, and his brothers were valiant men, Elihu, and Semakiah.
8 ૮ તેઓ સર્વ ઓબેદ-અદોમના પુત્રો હતા. તેઓ, તેમના પુત્રો અને ભાઈઓ મુલાકાતમંડપ ની સેવાને માટે શૂરવીર અને શક્તિશાળી પુરુષો હતા. ઓબેદ-અદોમના બાસઠ વંશજો હતા.
All these were of the sons of Obed-Edom: they and their sons and their brothers, able men in strength for the service; sixty-two of Obed-Edom.
Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, valiant men, eighteen.
10 ૧૦ મરારીના પુત્રોમાંના હોસાનાને પણ પુત્રો હતા. તેઓમાં મુખ્ય શિમ્રી જો કે તે જયેષ્ઠ પુત્ર ન હતો, પણ તેના પિતાએ તેને મુખ્ય ઠરાવ્યો હતો.
Also Hosah, of the descendants of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief),
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brothers of Hosah were thirteen.
12 ૧૨ એ મુખ્ય દ્વારપાળોની તેમના આગેવાનો દ્વારા ક્રમવાર ટુકડીઓ પાડવામાં આવી હતી. તેઓને પોતાના ભાઈઓની માફક ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સેવા કરવાનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
Of these were the divisions of the doorkeepers, even of the chief men, having offices like their brothers, to minister in the house of the LORD.
They cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their fathers' houses, for every gate.
14 ૧૪ પૂર્વ તરફની ચિઠ્ઠી શેલેમ્યાની નીકળી. ત્યાર બાદ તેનો પુત્ર ઝખાર્યા જે બુદ્ધિમાન મંત્રી હતો તેને માટે તેઓએ ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખી. અને તેની ચિઠ્ઠી ઉત્તર તરફની નીકળી.
The lot east fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out north.
To Obed-Edom the south; and to his sons, the vestibules.
16 ૧૬ શુપ્પીમ તથા હોસાની ચિઠ્ઠી પશ્ચિમ તરફના દરવાજાની એટલે ચઢતા ઢોળાવની સડક ઉપર આવેલા શાલ્લેખેથ દરવાજા પાસેની સામસામી બીજી ચોકીના દરવાજાની નીકળી.
To Hosah fell the west, namely, the chamber gate on the upper road. Watchman opposite watchman.
17 ૧૭ પૂર્વ તરફના દરવાજે રોજ છ લેવીઓ હાજર રહેતા હતા, તથા ઉત્તર તરફના દરવાજે ચાર, ‘દક્ષિણ તરફના દરવાજે ચાર અને દરેક દરવાજાને માટે બબ્બે.
On the east there were six a day, on the north four a day, on the south four a day, and for the vestibules two and two.
For the colonnade on the west, four at the gateway, and two at the colonnade.
These were the divisions of the doorkeepers; of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
And the Levites, their brothers, were over the treasures of God's house, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the ancestral houses belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.
The sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:
and Shubael the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasures.
25 ૨૫ શબુએલનાં ભાઈઓ: એલિએઝેરનો પુત્ર રહાબ્યા, રહાબ્યાનો પુત્ર યશાયા, યશાયાનો પુત્ર યોરામ, યોરામનો પુત્ર ઝિખ્રી, ઝીખ્રીનો પુત્ર શેલોમોથ.
His brothers: of Eliezer, Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zikri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 ૨૬ આ શલોમોથ અને તેના કુટુંબીઓ પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓના જે સર્વ ભંડારો દાઉદ રાજાએ તેના કુટુંબોના આગેવાનોએ, સહસ્રાધિપતિઓએ શતાધિપતિઓએ સૈન્યના સરદારોએ અર્પણ કર્યાં હતા, તેની જવાબદારી સંભાળતા હતા.
This Shelomith and his brothers were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the heads of the ancestral houses, and the commanders over thousands and hundreds, and the commanders of the army, had dedicated.
They dedicated some of the spoil won in battles to repair the house of the LORD.
28 ૨૮ જે બધું શમુએલ પ્રબોધકે, કીશના પુત્ર શાઉલે, નેરના પુત્ર આબ્નેરે તથા સરુયાના પુત્ર યોઆબે અર્પણ કર્યું હતું. તથા જે કંઈ બીજા કોઈએ અર્પણ કર્યું હતું. તે સાચવવાનું શલોમોથ અને તેના ભાઈઓના હવાલામાં હતું.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, all who dedicated anything, were in the care of Shelomith and his brothers.
29 ૨૯ ઈસહારીઓના વંશજોમાંથી કનાન્યા અને તેના પુત્રો બહારના કામ માટે ઇઝરાયલ પર અધિકારીઓ તથા ન્યાયાધીશો હતા.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 ૩૦ હેબ્રોનીઓમાંના હશાબ્યા તથા તેના ભાઈઓ એક હજાર સાતસો શૂરવીર પુરુષો હતા. તેઓ ઈશ્વરના સર્વ કામ માટે તથા રાજાની સેવાની માટે યર્દન પાર પશ્ચિમ તરફના ઇઝરાયલના અધિકારીઓ હતા.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, men of valor, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the business of the LORD, and for the service of the king.
31 ૩૧ હેબ્રોનીઓના પિતૃઓના વંશજોના કુટુંબીઓમાં મુખ્ય યરિયા આગેવાન હતો. દાઉદની કારકિર્દીના ચાળીસમાં વર્ષમાં તેઓની ચૂંટણી થઈ અને તેઓમાંના કેટલાક પરાક્રમી પુરુષો ગિલ્યાદમાં આવેલા યાઝેરમાં મળી આવ્યા.
Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even of the Hebronites, according to their generations by ancestral houses. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Jazer of Gilead.
32 ૩૨ યરિયાના ભાઈઓમાં પરાક્રમી પુરુષો તથા તેઓના કુટુંબોના સરદારોની સંખ્યા બે હજાર સાતસો હતી. તેઓને દાઉદ રાજાએ ઈશ્વર સંબંધી પ્રત્યેક બાબતને માટે તથા રાજાના કામ માટે રુબેનીઓ, ગાદીઓ, તથા મનાશ્શાના અર્ધકુળ પર દેખરેખ રાખવાની જવાબદારી સોંપી.
His brothers, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of ancestral houses, whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.
