Ἰησοῦς Nαυῆ 16

1 Και έπεσεν ο κλήρος των υιών Ιωσήφ από του Ιορδάνου πλησίον της Ιεριχώ, έως των υδάτων της Ιεριχώ κατά ανατολάς, προς την έρημον την αναβαίνουσαν από της Ιεριχώ διά του όρους Βαιθήλ,

And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, to the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,

2 και εκτείνεται από Βαιθήλ έως Λούζ, και διαβαίνει διά των ορίων του Αρχί-αταρώθ,

And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along to the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

3 και καταβαίνει εκ δυσμών εις τα όρια του Ιαφλαιτί, έως των ορίων της κάτω Βαιθ-ωρών, και έως Γεζέρ, και εξέρχεται εις την θάλασσαν.

And goeth down westward to the border of Japhleti, to the border of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the limits of it are at the sea.

4 Και έλαβον την κληρονομίαν αυτών οι υιοί Ιωσήφ, ο Μανασσής και ο Εφραΐμ.

So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

5 Και τα όρια των υιών Εφραΐμ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών ήσαν ταύτα· τα όρια της κληρονομίας αυτών προς το ανατολικόν μέρος ήσαν η Αταρώθ-αδάρ, έως της άνω Βαιθ-ωρών·

And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was [thus]: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-adar, to Beth-horon the upper:

6 και εξετείνοντο τα όρια προς την θάλασσαν εις Μιχμεθά κατά το βόρειον· και τα όρια έστρεφον κατά το ανατολικόν έως Ταανάθ-σηλώ, και εκείθεν διέβαινον κατά ανατολάς εις Ιανωχά·

And the border went out towards the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward to Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

7 και κατέβαινον από Ιανωχά εις Αταρώθ, και εις Νααράθ, και ήρχοντο εις την Ιεριχώ, και εξήρχοντο εις τον Ιορδάνην·

And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and terminated at Jordan.

8 τα όρια εξηκολούθησαν από Θαπφουά προς δυσμάς έως του χειμάρρου Κανά, και είχον την διέξοδον αυτών προς την θάλασσαν. Αύτη είναι η κληρονομία της φυλής των υιών Εφραΐμ κατά τας συγγενείας αυτών.

The border went out from Tappuah westward to the river Kanah; and the limits of it were at the sea. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

9 Ήσαν και πόλεις κεχωρισμέναι διά τους υιούς Εφραΐμ μεταξύ της κληρονομίας των υιών Μανασσή, πάσαι αι πόλεις και αι κώμαι αυτών.

And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim [were] among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

10 Και δεν εξεδίωξαν τους Χαναναίους τους κατοικούντας εις Γεζέρ· αλλ' οι Χαναναίοι κατοικούσι μεταξύ των Εφραϊμιτών έως της ημέρας ταύτης, και έγειναν δούλοι υποτελείς.

And they did not expel the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day, and serve under tribute.
