< Jan 1 >
1 U cilyogu, mi maam n bo ye, mi maama bo ye yeni U Tienu, mi maama bo tie U Tienu
IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word himself was with Aloha, and Aloha was the Word himself.
2 Mi bo ye u cilyogu yeni U Tienu.
This was in the beginning with Aloha.
3 Bi tieni bonli kuli yeni mani i. Ke ban tieni yaali kuli, liba ki tieni ke maa ye.
Every thing by his hand was made; and without him also was not one thing made that was made.
4 Li miali bo ye mani nni i, ke li miali bo tie bi niba yenyenma
In him was life, and the life is the light of the sons of man;
5 Mi yenyenma yendi li bɔnbɔnli nni, ke li bɔnbɔnli ki tuo ki ga ma.
and the Light himself in the darkness shineth, and the darkness perceived him not.
6 Ke U Tienu sɔni nilo, o tondo, ke bi yi o Jan.
There was a man who was sent from Aloha, his name (was) Juchanon.
He came for the testimony, to testify concerning the Light, that all men might believe through his ministry.
8 O bo ki tie mi yenyenma, ama o dɔgdi ke wan saa i mɔni mi yenyenma po
He was not the Light himself, but came to testify concerning the Light.
For that was the true Light that enlighteneth every man who cometh into the world.
In the world was he, and the world by his hand had been made, and the world knew him not.
11 Mi bo cua mi yaaba siiga, ama mi yaaba naa bo tuo ki ga ma.
He came to his own, and his own received him not.
12 Ama, yaaba n ga ma po yeni yaaba n dugi mi po, mi cabi ba u paalu ke ban tua U Tienu bila
But they who received him, he gave to them power, that the sons of Aloha they should become, to those who believe in his name.
These, not from blood, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from Aloha, are born.
And the Word flesh was made, and tabernacled with us; and we saw his glory, the glory as of the one-begotten who (was) from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 Jan saa i mɔni o po, ki kpaandi, ki maadi: N maadi o ya maama i, ki tua “Yua n ŋua n puoli po, bo liidi nni, kelima o bo ye ke n dá ki ye.
Juchanon testified concerning him, and cried, and said, This is he of whom I said, that he cometh after me, and was before me, because he is anterior to me.
And from his fulness we all have received, and grace for grace.
17 Kelima Moyiis den teni yiko, ke li ŋanbli yeni i mɔmɔni ñani Jesu kiristo kani i
For the law by the hand of Musha was given; but the truth and the grace were by Jeshu Meshicha.
ALOHA no man hath ever seen: the one-begotten God, he who is in the bosom of his Father, he hath declared him.
And this was the testimony of Juchanon, when the Jihudoyee sent to him from Urishlem priests and Levoyee to demand of him, Who art thou?
20 Ke o kadi ki yedi, kaa nia; o bo yedi ba ke wani ka tie Kiristu.
And he confessed, and denied not, but confessed, I am not the Meshicha.
21 Ke bi buali o: Li nan ga ledi i? A tie Eli yo oo? Ke o yedi: mii tie o. Atie sawalpualo yo oo? Ke o jiini: N n.
And they asked him again, What then? art thou Elia? And he said, I am not. Art thou the Prophet? And he said, No.
22 Lanwani i, ban maadi o: A tie ŋma i? A ba yedi be a yeceli po? lan todi ti tin caa yaaba sɔni ti u tondu
And they said to him, And who art thou? that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
He saith, I am the voice which crieth in the wilderness, Make plain the way of the Lord, as said Eshaia the prophet.
But they who were sent were from the Pharishee.
25 Be n cedi ke a batise bi niba, ki naa tie Kiristo, kaa tie Eli, ki naa go tie sawalpualo?
And they demanded and said to him, Why then baptizest thou, if thou art not the Meshicha, nor Elia, nor the Prophet?
26 Jan ń jiini ba: «Mini, N batise yeni mi ñima. Ama ti siiga nni, nilo ye, ke i ki bani o, ke o ba cua n puoli po
Juchanon answered and said to them, I baptize you with waters; but he standeth among you whom you know not:
27 N ki dagdi yeni min lodi o taacaaŋui.»
he it is who cometh after me, and he was before me; he, the latchets of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose.
These things were done in Bethania, at the passage of the Jurdan, where Juchanon was baptizing.
29 Lan fandi, wan la Jesu, ke o kpendi o kani, wan maadi: Diidi mani, U Tienu pabiga n yeni yua n piindi ŋanduna biidi.
AND the day after, Juchanon seeth Jeshu, who was coming to him; and he said, Behold the Lamb of Aloha, who beareth the sin of the world!
30 N maadi wani ya maama i, ki tua: «Nilo ŋua n puoli po, ki nan lii nni, kelima o den ye ke n dá ki ye.
This is he concerning whom I said, After me cometh a man, and he was before me, because he is anterior to me.
And I knew him not, but that he should be made known unto Isroel, therefore have I come with waters to baptize.
And Juchanon testified and said, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven as a dove, and it remained upon him.
And I knew him not: but he who sent me to baptize with water, he said to me, He upon whom thou seest the Spirit descend and remain, this baptizeth with the Spirit of Holiness:
34 Ke n la, ki tieni kasiedi, ki waani, ke wani n tie U Tienu Bijua.
and I saw, and bare witness that this is the Son of Aloha
35 Lan fandi, ke Jan go ye likani yeni o ŋɔdkaaba bilie,
And the day after Juchanon stood, and two of his disciples;
36 wan la Jesu ke o pendi, ke o maadi: «Diidi mani U Tienu Pebiga n yeni.»
and, contemplating Jeshu as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of Aloha!
37 Li ŋɔdkaliedba ń gbadi Jan maama, ban ŋɔdi Jesu.
And his two disciples heard him as he spake, and they went after Jeshu.
38 Jesu ń gbagi ki la ke bi ŋua o, wan maadi ba: «I kpaani be? Ban jiini o: Rabbi (li niima nni tie Canbáa - o tundka - A ye le i?
And Jeshu turned (himself), and saw them coming after him, and said to them, Whom seek you? They say to him, Raban, where dwellest thou?
39 Cua mani, ki diidi. Ban ŋɔdi, ki la wan ye naani, ki tundi yeni o lan daali. Li den tie nani kudi piiga po yeni.
He saith to them, Come and see. And they went and saw where he dwelt; and they were with him that day: and it was about the tenth hour.
40 Siimɔn ninjua Andere den tie yaaba n gbadi Jan maama, ki ŋɔdi Jesu yeni siiga nni, yendo.
Now one of those who heard Juchanon and went after Jeshu, was Andreas, the brother of Shemun.
41 Wani n kpia ki cendi o ninjua Siimɔn, ki maadi o: «Ti la Mesi» (lani n tie Kiristu)
This saw first Shemun his brother, and said to him, We have found the Meshicha;
42 Ki ciani o Jesu kani, Jesu ń nuali o, ke o maadi: «A tie Siimɔn i, Jonas bijua; bi ji ba yini a Sefas (li niima nni n tie Tangu)
and he brought him to Jeshu. And Jeshu saw him, and said, Thou art Shemun bar Jona; thou shalt be called Kipha.
43 Lan fandi ke Jesu bua gedi Galile, ki la Filip, ki maadi o: Ya ŋua nni.
AND the day following Jeshu willed to go forth into Galila. And he found Philipos, and said to him, Come after me.
44 Filip bo tie Betsayida yua i, Andere yeni Pieri dogu.
Now Philipos was from Beth-tsaida, from the city of Andreas and of Shemun.
Philipos found Nathanael, and said to him, Him of whom Musha in the law, and the prophets, did write we have found, (and) that Jeshu (is) he, the son of Jauseph who is from Natsrath.
46 Natanayel ń yedi o: «Bonŋanli ba fidi ki ña Nasareti dogu nni ii? Filip ń jiini o: Cua ki diidi.
Saith to him Nathanael, From Natsrath can any good thing be? Philipos saith to him, Come and see.
And Jeshu saw Nathanael as he was coming to him, and said of him, Behold truly a son of Isroel who hath no guile in him.
48 Natanayel ń buali o: A bandi nni le i? Jesu ń jiini o: «Hali ke Filip dá ki yini a ŋan bi ye bu kankanbu kani, n bi la ŋa.»
Nathanael saith to him, Whence knowest thou me? Jeshu saith to him, While yet Philipos had not called thee, while thou wast under the fig-tree, I saw thee.
49 Natanayel ń jiini ki yedi o: Rabbi, a tie U Tienu bijua i, a tie Isarayeli Badciamo i.
Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabi, thou art the Son of Aloha himself, thou art the very King of Isroel.
50 Jesu ń guani ki jiini o: «Min maadi a ke n la ŋa bu kankanbu ñiali n cedi ke a dugi; a ba la ya bona n yabi ki cie ne.
Jeshu saith to him, Upon my telling thee that I saw thee under the fig-tree, believest thou? Greater things than these thou shalt see.
51 Ki maadi o: «I mɔmɔni, n maadi yi, u yogu kpendi, ke i ba la ke tanpoli luodi ke U Tienu malekinba do ki go ji o nisaalo Bijua po.»
He saith to him, Amen, amen, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see the heavens opened, and the angels of Aloha ascending and descending unto the Son of man.
