1 Timote 1

1 Pɔli, Jesu kiristi tondo nani lan ŋua U Tienu ti candaano yeni Kiristi Jesu, ti dandanli bali maama yeni,

PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha, by the commandment of Aloha our Saviour, and of Jeshu Meshiha our hope;

2 N dangi ya tili ne, Timote, n bijua ti dudugdi yeni i mɔni nni po: U Tienu, ti Báa yeni Jesu ti Diedo ŋanbli yeni mi niñingbadcianma, yeni mi yanduanma ń ya ye yeni a.

to Timotheos, my true son in the faith: grace and mercy and peace from Aloha our Father and Jeshu Meshiha our Lord.

3 Nani min den waani a ke ŋan tieni maama ki fidi ki gedi Maseduani yeni i, ŋan ya ye Efesi dogu nni ki fidi ki waani bi niba ban ba tɔgni ya sanu, ki da lebdi yenŋɔdma bi tunda nni.

I requested of thee, when I would go into Makedunia, to remain at Ephesos, and instruct certain men that they teach not various doctrines,

4 Ban da cengi bi tunda nni a togda yeni ya nifiima n ki pia gbenma, ki nan fiindi mi ñɔniama, kaa pugdi bápu ke li ŋua ti dudgdi U Tienu tuona po.

nor throw themselves (away) upon stories and tales of generations which have no end, (but) which rather subserve contentions, and not edification in the faith of Aloha.

5 Ama li bali maama ń ŋua yaali n tie mi buama yaama ñani li papienli nni, li yantiaŋanli nni yeni ya dudugdi n tiegi i mɔmɔni sanu nni.

But the end of the commandment is love, from a pure heart, and from a good conscience, and from genuine faith.

6 Ya niba n lebdi ki taa santianu, tudi ki kua ya maacianma n ki pia mayuli nni.

And from them that have erred, and have declined to vain words,

7 Bi bua ban tundi bi niba li bali maama, ama ki nan ki gbia ban maadi yaali yeni ban wangi yaali niima nni.

seeking to become teachers of the law, while they understand not what they speak, nor that concerning which they contend.

8 Ama, ti bani ke li bali maama ŋani, li ya tie ke nilo taa ma ki sɔni ya tuona n tuagi ti yikodi sanu

But we know that the law is good, if a man according to the law converse in it;

9 Ti nan bani ke li bali maama ki bili yaaba n tiegi po ka, ama yaaba n ki cɔlni yiko yeni yaaba n fiindi mi yenyiema po i, a yenyieda yeni ti tuonbiadidanba, yaaba n ki ŋua U Tienu yeni bi yanbɔndanba po. Mi bili yaaba n biani bi danba miali yeni a nikpala po i.

knowing that against the righteous the law is not set, but against the evil, and rebels, and the wicked, and sinners, and the dishonest, and those who are not pure, and those who strike their fathers, and those who strike their mothers, and murderers,

10 yaab n kuani bi yuli mi conconma nni, yaaba n taa nintuali, ki dua yaaba, a nisuura yeni a sanjiala, bi tuofaadanba, a tingbangbaaba yeni yaali n ki tuagi ti dudugdi sanu kuli po,

and fornicators, and liers with men, and stealers of the free, and liars, and doers against an oath

11 Lan ya bangma ŋua O cabŋandaano U Tienu ń piani nni ya yudandi laabaalŋamo i.

and whatever (else) is opposed to the healthful doctrine of the gospel of the glory of the blessed Aloha, with which I have been intrusted.

12 N maali ke ti Diedo Jesu Kiristi yua n pugni nni u paalu, kelima o diidi ki sua ke n duu o po i ke o puogi nni lan ya tuonli,

And I thank him who hath empowered me, our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who accounted me faithful, and constituted me his minister; me,

13 Mini yua n den fanbi U Tienu yikodi, ki go tie jadi daano, n baa U Tienu ŋanbli kelima n den ki bani ki tie lankuli.

who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious; but I received mercy, because while ignorant I did it, without faith.

14 Ama Ti Diedo ŋanbli tɔgni min pia ya dudugdi yeni ya buama Jesu Kiristi nni, ki paadi likuli.

But in me hath abounded the grace of our Lord, and faith and love which are in Jeshu Meshiha.

15 Ya maama ne mɔni boncianla, ki go pia ti dudugdi yuakuli po, ke Jesu Kiristi cua ki tinga po ki bua faabi ti tuonbiadi danba i. Mini n biidi bi siiga nni ki cie.

Faithful is the word, and worthy of reception that Jeshu the Meshiha came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.

16 Ama lanyapo i, ke n baa mi niñingbadma ke li wangi ke mini n cindi ki la Jesu Kiristi ń pia ya juunli. O tieni lani, ke lan tua nannanli yaaba n duu o po hali ya miali n ki pia gbenma. (aiōnios g166)

But for this he had compassion upon me, that in me first Jeshu Meshiha might show all long-suffering, as an exhibition for them who should believe in him unto everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)

17 Mɔlane, ti kpiagdi yeni ti yudandi tie hali ya yognu badciamo, yua ya miali n ki pia gbenma, ban ki nua yua, Tienyendu baba yaadi, li bina yeni li bina, Ami! (aiōn g165)

But to the King who is eternal, incorruptible, and unseen, who is one Aloha, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

18 Timote, n biga, min teni a ya maabilkaama ne, ke mi ŋua ban den pua a po ya sawali yeni, li tie ke ŋan kɔni li kɔnkɔnmɔnli;

This commandment I commit to thee, my son Timotheos, according to the early prophecies which were concerning thee, that thou mayest war through them this good warfare with faith and with a good conscience.

19 ŋan ya pia ti dudugdi yeni li yantiaŋanli. Bi tianba buoni li, ke li tulni ba, ke bi fagdi yeni ti dudugdi.

For those who this have put away from them of faith have been emptied;

20 Himene yeni Alekisandiri ye bi siiga nni, N sagni bani yeni sutaani, ke ban bangi ban ba tɔgni ya sanu ki ji da fanbi U Tienu yikodi.

as Hymeneos and Alexandros, whom I have delivered to Satana, that they may not blaspheme.
