1 yaama den ye hali mi cilima, tin den gbadi, ki laa yaala leni ti nuni, ki giidi, ki go sii yaala leni ti nii.
That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of life
2 kelima li miali yeni doagidi, ke ti la li, ke ti tiendi siedi, ki wangi yi ya miali n kan gbeni, yaali n den yé baa kani, ke o doagidi li ti po. (aiōnios g166)
(and the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare unto you the life, the eternal [life], which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us); (aiōnios g166)
3 tin laa leni ki go gbadi yaala, ti wangi yi moko lane. ke yi n ya pia yanyenma leni ti. nani ti moko n pia yanyenma leni Baa, leni o Bijua Jesu Kilisiti.
that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ:
4 ti go dangi laa bonla kuli, ke ti pamanli n dagidi cain.
and these things we write, that our joy may be fulfilled.
5 tin den bandi o kani ya maama, ki wangi yi tie ke Utienu tie yenma ki bigili ki ye o niini ba waanmu.
And this is the message which we have heard from him, and announce unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

7 ama ti ya cuoni mi yenma nni, nani wani o ba n tie yenma maama yeni, ti pia yanyema leni tiyaba, ke o bijua jesu ya soama baa ŋuudi ti pala ki ñandi ti tuonbiadi kuli.
but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 ti ya tua ke tii pia tuonbiadi, ti boanbidi ti yula yo, imoamoani ki ye ti niini.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 ti ya mia ti tuonbiadi sugili, wani, wani tie dugika ki tiegi mo, O baa pa ti sugili, ki go ŋuudi ki ñiani ki tuonbiadi kuli.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 ti ya tua ke tii tieni tuonbiadi, ti yedi ke Utienu tie tuofadaano, O maama mo ki ye ti niinni.
