< 2 Akorinitho 9 >

1 Na rĩrĩ, ndikuona harĩ bata ndĩmwandĩkĩre ũhoro wa ũteithio ũrĩa wagĩrĩire kũheo andũ arĩa aamũre.
Now concerning the relief intended for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
2 Nĩgũkorwo nĩnjũũĩ kĩyo kĩanyu gĩa kwenda gũteithia, na nĩngoretwo ngĩĩrahĩra ũndũ ũcio kũrĩ andũ a Makedonia, ngameera atĩ kuuma mwaka ũcio ũrathirire, inyuĩ andũ a Akaia mũtũire mwĩhaarĩirie kũheana; na kĩyo kĩu kĩanyu nĩkĩo kĩarahũrĩte aingĩ ao.
for I know your readiness of mind, which I boast of concerning you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath excited many.
3 No nĩngũtũma ariũ a Ithe witũ nĩguo kwĩraha gwitũ nĩ ũndũ wanyu ũhoro-inĩ ũyũ wa mũhothi gũtigatuĩke gwa tũhũ, no mũgaakorwo mwĩhaarĩirie, o ta ũrĩa ndoigire atĩ nĩmwĩharĩirie.
But I have sent the brethren, that our boasting of you might not become vain in this respect, but that ye might be ready, as I had said:
4 Nĩgũkorwo andũ amwe a Makedonia mangĩrehane na niĩ makore mũtehaarĩirie-rĩ, ithuĩ, o na tũtekũmũgweta-rĩ, nĩtũgaaconoka nĩ ũndũ wa ũguo tũmwĩhokeete.
least if the Macedonians should come with me, and find you unprepared, we should be ashamed (not to say you also) in this confident boasting.
5 Nĩ ũndũ ũcio, nĩndĩronire arĩ wega gũthaitha ariũ a Ithe witũ maambe mamũceerere ihinda rĩu rĩtanakinya, nĩguo marĩkĩrĩrie mĩbango ya kĩheo kĩa ũtaana kĩrĩa mweranĩire. Hĩndĩ ĩyo kĩheo kĩu nĩgĩgakorwo kĩrĩ ho, na kĩheanĩtwo na kwĩyendera, no ti na kũringĩrĩrio.
Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go first to you, and before our coming to collect your bounty beforementioned, that it may be ready, as of munificence, and not of force.
6 Ririkanai ũũ: Mũndũ ũrĩa ũhaandaga tũnini akaagetha o tũnini, nake ũrĩa ũhaandaga nyingĩ akaagetha nyingĩ.
But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully.
7 O mũndũ aagĩrĩirwo nĩkũheana kĩrĩa atuĩte na ngoro yake nĩekũheana, na ndakaheane atekwenda kana taarĩ kũringĩrĩrio, nĩgũkorwo Ngai endaga mũndũ ũrĩa ũheanaga akenete.
Let every one give as he chuses in his own heart; not with reluctance, or constraint: for God loveth a chearful giver.
8 Nake Ngai arĩ na ũhoti wa gũtũma mũingĩhĩrwo nĩ maũndũ mothe ma wega wake, nĩguo maũndũ-inĩ mothe na mahinda-inĩ mothe, mũkoragwo na kĩrĩa gĩothe mũbatarĩtio nĩkĩo, nĩguo mũkoragwo mũingĩhĩtie indo cia kũruta wĩra o wothe mwega.
And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that having always all sufficiency in every thing, ye may abound in every good work:
9 O ta ũrĩa kwandĩkĩtwo atĩrĩ: “Nĩahurunjĩte iheo ciake akahe andũ arĩa athĩĩni; ũthingu wake ũtũũraga nginya tene na tene.” (aiōn g165)
(as it is written, "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor, his righteousness continueth for ever."
And may He, who supplieth seed to the sower, and giveth bread for food, furnish and multiply your sowing, and increase the fruits of your bounty: )
being in every thing enriched to all liberality, which produceth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 Ũteithio ũyũ mũraruta ti kuuga atĩ no andũ a Ngai mũrahingĩria mabata mao, no nĩũtũmaga Ngai acookagĩrio ngaatho na njĩra nyingĩ.
For the ministration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also, through many thanksgivings, to the glory of God.
(While from the experience of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and the liberality of your communication to them, and to all men.)
And in their prayer for you, who long after you because of the transcendent grace of God towards you.
15 Ngai arocookerio ngaatho nĩ ũndũ wa kĩheo gĩake kĩrĩa gĩtangiugĩka na ciugo ũrĩa gĩtariĩ!
Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
