Markus 8
1 In jenen Tagen, als sehr viel Volk da war, und sie nichts zu essen hatten, rief Jesus Seine Jünger zu Sich und sprach zu ihnen:

2 Mich jammert des Volkes; denn es sind schon drei Tage, daß sie bei Mir verharren, und haben nichts zu essen.

3 Und wenn Ich sie ungegessen nach ihrem Hause entlasse, so werden sie auf dem Wege verschmachten; denn ihrer sind einige von weit her gekommen.

4 Und Seine Jünger antworteten Ihm: Woher kann man hier in der Wüste diese mit Broten sättigen?

5 Und Er fragte sie: Wie viele Brote habt ihr? Sie aber sprachen: Sieben.

6 Und Er entbot dem Gedränge, sich auf die Erde niederzulassen; und Er nahm die sieben Brote, dankte, brach sie und gab sie Seinen Jüngern, daß sie selbige vorlegten; und sie legten sie dem Volke vor.

8 Sie aber aßen und wurden satt, und hoben sieben Weidenkörbe mit Brocken auf, die übergeblieben.

9 Es waren aber bei viertausend, die gegessen hatten, und Er entließ sie.

11 Und die Pharisäer kamen heraus und fingen an, sich mit Ihm zu befragen und ersuchten von Ihm ein Zeichen vom Himmel, daß sie Ihn versuchten.

12 Und Er seufzt auf in Seinem Geiste und spricht: Was suchet dies Geschlecht ein Zeichen? Wahrlich, Ich sage euch: Es wird diesem Geschlechte kein Zeichen gegeben werden.

15 Und Er verbot ihnen und sprach: Sehet zu, hütet euch vor dem Sauerteig der Pharisäer und dem Sauerteig des Herodes.

16 Und sie besprachen untereinander und sagten: Weil wir kein Brot haben.

17 Und Jesus vernahm es und sprach zu ihnen: Warum besprecht ihr euch, daß ihr kein Brot habt? Begreift ihr noch nicht, noch verstehet ihr? Ist euer Herz noch verstockt?

18 Habet Augen und sehet nicht, habet Ohren und höret nicht und gedenket nicht?

19 Als Ich die fünf Brote unter die fünftausende brach, wie viele Körbe voll Brocken hobet ihr auf? Sie sprachen zu Ihm: Zwölf.

21 Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Wie? Verstehet ihr es nicht?

22 Und Er kommt nach Bethsaida; und sie bringen zu Ihm einen Blinden, und flehen Ihn an, daß Er ihn berührete.

23 Und Er nahm den Blinden bei der Hand, führte ihn hinaus aus dem Flecken, und spützete in seine Augen, legte die Hände auf ihn und fragte ihn, ob er etwas sähe?

24 Und er blickte auf und sprach: Ich sehe die Menschen wie Bäume umherwandeln.

25 Da legte Er ihm abermals die Hände auf seine Augen, und hieß ihn aufblicken, und er war wieder hergestellt und sah alles deutlich.

27 Und Jesus ging aus und Seine Jünger in die Flecken von Cäsarea Philippi, und auf dem Wege fragte Er Seine Jünger und sprach zu ihnen: Wer sagen die Menschen, daß Ich sei?

31 Und Er fing an, sie zu lehren, daß des Menschen Sohn vieles erleiden und von den Ältesten und Hohenpriestern und Schriftgelehrten verworfen und getötet werden müsse und nach drei Tagen auferstehen werde.

33 Er aber wandte Sich um, und da Er Seine Jünger sah, bedrohte Er Petrus und sprach: Gehe hin, hinter Mich, Satan! Denn du sinnest nicht was von Gott, sondern was von Menschen ist.

38 Denn wer sich Mein und Meiner Worte schämt in diesem ehebrecherischen und sündhaften Geschlecht, dessen wird Sich auch des Menschen Sohn schämen, wenn Er in der Herrlichkeit Seines Vaters mit den heiligen Engeln kommen wird.
