1 Mose 9
1 Und Gott segnete Noach und seine Söhne und sprach zu ihnen: Seid fruchtbar und mehret euch und füllet die Erde.
And God blesseth Noah, and his sons, and saith to them, 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth;
2 Und die Frucht vor euch und das Erschrecken vor euch sei über allem wilden Getier der Erde und über allem Gevögel des Himmels; über allem, was auf dem Boden kriecht, und über allen Fischen des Meeres; sie seien in eure Hände gegeben.
and your fear and your dread is on every beast of the earth, and on every fowl of the heavens, on all that creepeth on the ground, and on all fishes of the sea — into your hand they have been given.
3 Alles Kriechtier, das Leben hat, soll eure Speise sein, wie das grüne Kraut habe Ich euch alles gegeben.
Every creeping thing that is alive, to you it is for food; as the green herb I have given to you the whole;
4 Nur Fleisch in seiner Seele, seinem Blut, sollt ihr nicht essen.
only flesh in its life — its blood — ye do not eat.
5 Und fürwahr, euer Blut will Ich von euern Seelen fordern, von der Hand alles wilden Tiers will Ich es fordern und von der Hand des Menschen, von der Hand des Mannes, seines Bruders, will Ich fordern die Seele des Menschen.
'And only your blood for your lives do I require; from the hand of every living thing I require it, and from the hand of man, from the hand of every man's brother I require the life of man;
6 Wer das Blut des Menschen im Menschen vergießt, dessen Blut soll vergossen werden, weil im Bilde Gottes Er den Menschen gemacht hat.
whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man is his blood shed: for in the image of God hath He made man.
7 Und ihr, seid fruchtbar und mehret euch, wimmelt auf der Erde und mehret euch auf ihr.
And ye, be fruitful and multiply, teem in the earth, and multiply in it.'
8 Und Gott sprach zu Noach und zu seinen Söhnen mit ihm, und sagte:
And God speaketh unto Noah, and unto his sons with him, saying,
9 Und Ich, siehe, Ich richte Meinen Bund auf mit euch und mit eurem Samen nach euch.
'And I, lo, I am establishing My covenant with you, and with your seed after you,
10 Und mit aller lebendigen Seele, die bei euch ist, an Gevögel, an Vieh, und an allem wilden Tiere der Erde bei euch, von allen, die von der Arche ausgegangen, von allem wilden Tier der Erde.
and with every living creature which [is] with you, among fowl, among cattle, and among every beast of the earth with you, from all who are going out of the ark — to every beast of the earth.
11 Und Ich richte Meinen Bund auf mit euch, und es soll nicht mehr alles Fleisch von den Wassern der Flut ausgerottet werden, und es wird nicht mehr eine Flut sein, die Erde zu verderben.
And I have established My covenant with you, and all flesh is not any more cut off by waters of a deluge, and there is not any more a deluge to destroy the earth.'
12 Und Gott sprach: Dies sei das Zeichen des Bundes, den Ich zwischen Mir und zwischen euch und zwischen aller lebendigen Seele, die bei euch ist, für die Geschlechter des Zeitlaufs gebe.
And God saith, 'This is a token of the covenant which I am giving between Me and you, and every living creature that [is] with you, to generations age-during;
13 Meinen Bogen gebe Ich in die Wolke, und er soll sein zum Zeichen des Bundes zwischen Mir und zwischen der Erde.
My bow I have given in the cloud, and it hath been for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth;
14 Und es wird geschehen, wenn Ich Wolken zusammenwölke über der Erde, und der Bogen in den Wolken gesehen wird;
and it hath come to pass (in My sending a cloud over the earth) that the bow hath been seen in the cloud,
15 So will Ich gedenken Meines Bundes zwischen Mir und zwischen euch und zwischen aller lebendigen Seele in allem Fleisch; und die Wasser sollen nicht mehr zur Flut werden, alles Fleisch zu verderben.
and I have remembered My covenant which is between Me and you, and every living creature among all flesh, and the waters become no more a deluge to destroy all flesh;
16 Und der Bogen wird in der Wolke sein, und Ich werde ihn sehen, zu gedenken des ewigen Bundes zwischen Gott und zwischen aller lebendigen Seele in allem Fleisch, das auf Erden ist.
and the bow hath been in the cloud, and I have seen it — to remember the covenant age-during between God and every living creature among all flesh which [is] on the earth.'
17 Und Gott sprach zu Noach: Dies sei das Zeichen des Bundes, den Ich aufrichte zwischen Mir und zwischen allem Fleisch, das auf Erden ist.
And God saith unto Noah, 'This [is] a token of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that [is] upon the earth.'
18 Und die Söhne Noachs, die von der Arche ausgingen, waren Schem und Cham und Japhet; und Cham ist der Vater Kanaans.
And the sons of Noah who are going out of the ark are Shem, and Ham, and Japheth; and Ham is father of Canaan.
19 Diese drei sind die Söhne Noachs und von ihnen ward die ganze Erde überstreut.
These three [are] sons of Noah, and from these hath all the earth been overspread.
20 Und Noach fing an als Mann des Bodens und pflanzte einen Weinberg.
And Noah remaineth a man of the ground, and planteth a vineyard,
21 Und er trank von dem Wein und ward trunken und war aufgedeckt mitten in seinem Zelte.
and drinketh of the wine, and is drunken, and uncovereth himself in the midst of the tent.
22 Und Cham, der Vater Kanaans, sah die Blöße seines Vaters und sagte es seinen zweien Brüdern draußen an.
And Ham, father of Canaan, seeth the nakedness of his father, and declareth to his two brethren without.
23 Und Schem und Japhet nahmen das Gewand und legten es auf ihre beiden Schultern und gingen rückwärts und bedeckten die Blöße ihres Vaters, und ihre Angesichter waren rückwärts, und die Blöße ihres Vaters sahen sie nicht.
And Shem taketh — Japheth also — the garment, and they place on the shoulder of them both, and go backward, and cover the nakedness of their father; and their faces [are] backward, and their father's nakedness they have not seen.
24 Und Noach erwachte von seinem Weine, und er erfuhr, was ihm sein kleiner Sohn getan hatte,
And Noah awaketh from his wine, and knoweth that which his young son hath done to him,
25 Und er sprach: Verflucht sei Kanaan! Der Knecht der Knechte soll er seinen Brüdern sein.
and saith: 'Cursed [is] Canaan, Servant of servants he is to his brethren.'
26 Und er sprach: Gesegnet sei Jehovah, der Gott Schems und Kanaan soll ihm Knecht sein.
And he saith: 'Blessed of Jehovah my God [is] Shem, And Canaan is servant to him.
27 Weit breite Gott Japhet aus, und er soll wohnen in den Zelten Schems, und Kanaan soll ihm Knecht sein.
God doth give beauty to Japheth, And he dwelleth in tents of Shem, And Canaan is servant to him.'
28 Und Noach lebte nach der Flut dreihundert Jahre und fünfzig Jahre.
And Noah liveth after the deluge three hundred and fifty years;
29 Und es waren alle Tage Noachs neunhundert Jahre und fünfzig Jahre, und er starb.
and all the days of Noah are nine hundred and fifty years, and he dieth.
