1 Mose 46
1 Und Israel brach auf und alles, was er hatte, und kam nach Beerscheba, und opferte dem Gotte seines Vaters Isaak Opfer.
Then Israel tooke his iourney with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifice vnto the God of his father Izhak.
2 Und Gott sprach zu Israel in Gesichten der Nacht, und Er sprach: Jakob, Jakob! Und er sprach: Hier bin ich.
And God spake vnto Israel in a vision by night, saying, Iaakob, Iaakob. Who answered, I am here.
3 Und Er sprach: Ich bin der Gott, der Gott deines Vaters. Fürchte dich nicht, nach Ägypten hinabzugehen; denn ich will dich dort zu einer großen Völkerschaft setzen.
Then hee sayde, I am God, the God of thy father, feare not to goe downe into Egypt: for I will there make of thee a great nation.
4 Ich werde mit dir hinabgehen nach Ägypten und dich auch heraufkommen lassen, und Joseph wird seine Hand auf deine Augen legen.
I wil go downe with thee into Egypt, and I will also bring thee vp againe, and Ioseph shall put his hand vpon thine eyes.
5 Und Jakob machte sich auf von Beerscheba, und die Söhne Israels hoben ihren Vater Jakob, ihre Kindlein und ihre Weiber auf in die Wagen, die Pharao gesandt, ihn zu fahren.
Then Iaakob rose vp from Beer-sheba: and the sonnes of Israel caried Iaakob their father, and their children, and their wiues in the charets, which Pharaoh had sent to cary him.
6 Und sie nahmen ihre Viehherden und ihre Habe, die sie im Lande Kanaan gewonnen hatten und kamen nach Ägypten, Jakob und all sein Same mit ihm.
And they tooke their cattell and their goods, which they had gotten in the lande of Canaan, and came into Egypt, both Iaakob and all his seede with him,
7 Seine Söhne und seiner Söhne Söhne mit ihm, seine Töchter und seiner Söhne Töchter, und all seinen Samen brachte er mit sich nach Ägypten.
His sonnes and his sonnes sonnes with him, his daughters and his sonnes daughters, and al his seede brought he with him into Egypt.
8 Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Israels, die nach Ägypten kamen, Jakobs und seiner Söhne: der Erstgeborene Jakobs: Ruben.
And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, euen Iaakob and his sonnes: Reuben, Iaakobs first borne.
9 Und die Söhne Rubens waren: Chanoch und Phallu und Chezron und Karmi.
And the sonnes of Reuben: Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
10 Und die Söhne Simeons: Jemuel und Jamin und Ohad und Jachin und Zochar und Schaul, der Sohn einer Kanaaniterin.
And the sonnes of Simeon: Iemuel, and Iamin, and Ohad, and Iachin, and Zohar; and Shaul the sonne of a Canaanitish woman.
11 Und die Söhne Levis: Gerschon und Kohath und Merari.
Also the sonnes of Leui: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
12 Und die Söhne Judahs: Er und Onan und Schelah und Pherez und Serach; Er und Onan aber waren gestorben im Lande Kanaan; und die Söhne des Pherez waren Chezron und Chamul.
Also the sonnes of Iudah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: (but Er and Onan died in ye land of Canaan) And the sonnes of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.
13 Und die Söhne Isaschars: Thola und Phuvah und Job und Schimron.
Also the sonnes of Issachar: Tola, and Phuuah, and Iob, and Shimron.
14 Und die Söhne Sebulons: Sered und Elon und Jachleel.
Also the sonnes of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Iahleel.
15 Dies sind die Söhne der Leah, die sie dem Jakob in Padan Aram gebar, und Dinah, seine Tochter. Alle Seelen seiner Söhne und seiner Töchter waren dreiundreißig.
These bee the sonnes of Leah, which shee bare vnto Iaakob in Padan Aram, with his daughter Dinah. All the soules of his sonnes and his daughters were thirtie and three.
16 Und die Söhne Gads: Ziphjon und Chaggi, Schuni und Ezbon, Eri und Arodi und Areli.
Also the sonnes of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
17 Und die Söhne Aschers: Jimnah und Jischvah und Jischvi und Berijah und Serach, ihre Schwester, und die Söhne Berijahs: Cheber und Malchiel.
Also the sonnes of Asher: Iimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister. And the sonnes of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel.
18 Dies sind die Söhne Silpahs, die Laban seiner Tochter Leah gab. Und sie gebar diese dem Jakob, sechszehn Seelen.
These are the children of Zilpah, whome Laban gaue to Leah his daughter: and these shee bare vnto Iaakob, euen sixtene soules.
19 Die Söhne von Rachel, Jakobs Weib, waren Joseph und Benjamin.
The sonnes of Rahel Iaakobs wife were Ioseph and Beniamin.
20 Und dem Joseph wurden geboren in Ägyptenland, die Asenath, die Tochter Potipheras, des Priesters von Ohn, ihm gebar, Menascheh und Ephraim.
And vnto Ioseph in the lande of Egypt were borne Manasseh, and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah prince of On bare vnto him.
21 Und die Söhne Benjamins waren: Bela und Becher und Aschbel, Gera und Naaman, Echi und Rosch, Muppim und Chuppim und Arde.
Also the sonnes of Beniamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
22 Dies sind die Söhne Rachels, die dem Jakob geboren wurden, alle Seelen, vierzehn.
These are the sonnes of Rahel, which were borne vnto Iaakob, fourteene soules in all.
23 Und die Söhne Dans: Chuschim.
Also the sonnes of Dan: Hushim.
24 Und die Söhne Naphthalis waren: Jachzeel und Guni und Jezer und Schillem.
Also the sonnes of Naphtali: Iahzeel, and Guni, and Iezer, and Shillem.
25 Dies sind die Söhne Bilhahs, die Laban seiner Tochter Rachel gab. Und sie gebar sie dem Jakob, alle Seelen, sieben.
These are the sonnes of Bilhah, which Laban gaue vnto Rahel his daughter, and shee bare these to Iaakob, in all, seuen soules.
26 Alle Seelen, die mit Jakob nach Ägypten kamen, die aus seinen Hüften hervorgingen, außer den Weibern der Söhne Jakobs, waren es alle Seelen, sechsundsechzig.
Al the soules, that came with Iaakob into Egypt, which came out of his loynes (beside Iaakobs sonnes wiues) were in the whole, three score and sixe soules.
27 Und die Söhne Josephs, die ihm in Ägypten geboren wurden, waren zwei Seelen. Alle Seelen vom Hause Jakobs, die nach Ägypten kamen, waren siebzig.
Also the sonnes of Ioseph, which were borne him in Egypt, were two soules: so that al the soules of the house of Iaakob, which came into Egypt, are seuentie.
28 Und den Judah sandte er vor sich hin an Joseph, vor ihm her zu weisen nach Goschen; und sie kamen nach dem Lande Goschen.
The he sent Iudah before him vnto Ioseph, to direct his way vnto Goshen, and they came into the land of Goshen.
29 Und Joseph spannte seinen Streitwagen an und ging hinauf, seinem Vater Israel entgegen nach Goschen. Und als er sich ihm zeigte, da fiel er ihm um den Hals und weinte lange an seinem Hals.
Then Ioseph made ready his charet and went vp to Goshen to meete Israel his father, and presented himselfe vnto him and fel on his necke, and wept vpon his necke a good while.
30 Und Israel sprach zu Joseph: Nunmehr will ich sterben, nachdem ich dein Angesicht gesehen, daß du noch lebst.
And Israel sayde vnto Ioseph, Now let me die, since I haue seene thy face, and that thou art yet aliue.
31 Und Joseph sprach zu seinen Brüdern und zu dem Haus seines Vaters: Ich will hinaufgehen und Pharao ansagen, und ich will zu ihm sagen: Meine Brüder und das Haus meines Vaters, die im Lande Kanaan waren, sind zu mir gekommen.
Then Ioseph said to his brethren, and to his fathers house, I wil go vp and shew Pharaoh, and tell him, My brethren and my fathers house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come vnto me,
32 Und die Männer sind Hirten des Kleinviehs; denn sie sind Männer der Viehherden und haben ihr Kleinvieh und ihre Rinder und alles, was sie haben, hergebracht.
And the men are shepheardes, and because they are shepheardes, they haue brought their sheepe and their cattell, and all that they haue.
33 Und wenn es geschieht, daß Pharao euch ruft und sagt: Was ist euer Tun?
And if Pharaoh call you, and aske you, What is your trade?
34 Dann saget: Männer der Viehherden sind deine Knechte gewesen von unsrer Jugend auf und bis jetzt, sowohl wir als unsre Väter; auf daß ihr wohnen möget im Lande Goschen; denn alle, die Kleinvieh weiden, sind den Ägyptern ein Greuel.
Then ye shall say, Thy seruants are men occupied about cattell, from our childehood euen vnto this time, both we and our fathers: that yee may dwell in the lande of Goshen: for euery sheepe keeper is an abomination vnto the Egyptians.
