Lukas 10
1 Nach diesem bestellte der Herr auch andere Siebenzig, und sandte sie, je zwei vor sich her, in jede Stadt und Ortschaft, wo er selbst hinzugehen im Begriffe war.
After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Die Ernte ist groß, die Arbeiter aber sind wenige. So bittet den Herrn der Ernte, daß er Arbeiter in seine Ernte sende.
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Gehet hin! Siehe, ich sende euch, wie Lämmer, mitten unter Wölfe.
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Traget nicht Beutel, noch Tasche, noch Schuhe, und begrüßet niemand auf dem Wege.
Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 Wo ihr aber in ein Haus eingehet, da saget zuerst: Friede sei mit diesem Hause!
And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house.
6 Und wenn ein Sohn des Friedens daselbst ist, so wird euer Friedensgruß auf ihn sich niederlassen, wenn aber nicht, so wird er auf euch zurückkehren.
And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 Bleibet aber in demselbigen Hause, und esset und trinket, was sie haben. Denn ein Arbeiter ist seines Lohnes wert. Gehet nicht von Haus zu Haus.
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 Und wenn ihr in eine Stadt kommet, und sie euch aufnehmen, so esset, was euch vorgestzt wird.
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 Und heilet die Kranken in ihr, und saget ihnen: Die Gottesherrschaft ist nahe zu euch gekommen.
And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 Wo ihr aber in eine Stadt kommet, und sie euch nicht aufnehmen, da geht hinaus auf ihre Straßen und sprechet:
But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 Auch den Staub, der sich uns an unsere Füße angehängt hat, von eurer Stadt, wischen wir euch ab, doch das sollt ihr wissen, daß die Gottesherrschaft nahe herbeigekommen ist.
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
12 Ich sage euch, daß es Sodom an jenem Tage erträglicher sein wird, als jener Stadt.
But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 Wehe dir Chorazin! Wehe dir Bethsaida! Denn, wenn in Tyrus und Sidon die Krafttaten geschehen wären, die in euch geschehen sind, sie würden längst in Sack und Asche sich hingesetzt, und ihre Gesinnung geändert haben.
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Doch es wird Tyrus und Sidon erträglicher sein im Gerichte, als euch.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
15 Und du, Kapernaum, die du bis zum Himmel erhöht warst, bis in die Unterwelt wirst du erniedrigt werden. (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 Wer euch hört, hört mich; und wer euch verachtet, verachtet mich; wer aber mich verachtet, der verachtet den, der mich gesandt hat.
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
17 Als aber die Siebenzig zurückkehrten, sagten sie voll Freude: Herr, auch die Dämonen sind uns untertan in deinem Namen.
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich sah den Satan, wie einen Blitz, aus dem Himmel fallen.
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Siehe, ich gebe euch die Nacht, auf Schlangen und Skorpionen zu treten, und auf alle Nacht des Feindes, und nichts wird euch schaden.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Doch darüber freuet euch nicht, daß die Geister euch untertan sind; freuet euch aber, daß euere Namen in den Himmeln (d. h. bei Gott) aufgeschrieben sind.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
21 In jener Stunde frohlockte Jesus im heiligen Geiste, und sprach: Ich preise dich, Vater, Herr des Himmels und der Erde, daß du solches vor Weisen und Klugen verborgen hast, und hast es Unmündigen geoffenbart. Ja, Vater, denn also war es wohlgefällig vor dir.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
22 Und er wandte sich zu seinen Jüngern, und sprach: Alles ist mir übergeben von meinem Vater, und niemand weiß, wer der Sohn ist, außer der Vater, und wer der Vater ist, außer der Sohn, und wem es der Sohn offenbaren will.
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him.]
23 Und er wandte sich zu seinen Jüngern im besondern, und sprach: Selig sind die Augen, die da sehen, was ihr sehet.
And he turned him unto [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see:
24 Denn ich sage euch: Viele Propheten und Könige wollten sehen, was ihr sehet, und haben es nicht gesehen, und hören, was ihr höret, und haben es nicht gehört.
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard [them.]
25 Und siehe, ein Gesetzeslehrer stund auf, versuchte ihn, und sprach: Lehrer, was soll ich tun, um das künftige Leben zu erwerben? (aiōnios g166)
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Was steht im Gesetz geschrieben? Wie liesest du?
He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 Er aber antwortete, und sprach: Du sollst lieben den Herrn, deinen Gott von deinem ganzen Herzen, und von deiner ganzen Seele, und mit deiner ganzen Kraft, und mit deiner ganzen Gesinnung; und deinen Nächsten, wie dich selbst.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 Und er sprach zu ihm: Du hast richtig geantwortet. Tue das, so wirst du leben.
And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 Er aber wollte sich selbst rechtfertigen, und sprach zu Jesus: Und wer ist mein Nächster?
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 Jesus aber erwiderte und sprach: Ein Mensch zog hinab von Jerusalem nach Jericho, und fiel unter Räuber, die ihn auszogen, und verwundeten, und dann davongingen, indem sie ihn halbtot liegen ließen.
And Jesus answering said, A certain [ man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead.
31 Von ungefähr aber zog ein Priester auf jenem Weg hinab, und als er ihn sah, ging er auf der andern Seite vorbei.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Gleicherweise auch ein Levit, als er an den Ort kam, und sah, ging auf der andern Seite vorbei.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked [on him], and passed by on the other side.
33 Ein reisender Samariter aber kam hin, und als er ihn sah, jammerte ihn.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him],
34 Und er ging hinzu, verband seine Wunden, und goß Öl und Wein darauf. Dann hob er ihn auf sein eigenes Reittier, und führte ihn in ein Gasthaus, und sorgte für ihn.
And went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Und am andern Tage, als er auszog, nahm er zwei Denare hervor, gab sie dem Wirt, und sagte ihm: Versorge ihn, und was du etwa mehr ausgibst, das will ich, wenn ich wieder vorbeikomme, dir geben.
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Wer nun von diesen Dreien scheint dir der Nächste gewesen zu sein von dem, der unter die Räuber fiel?
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 Er aber sprach: Der die Barmherzigkeit an ihm tat. Jesus aber sagte ihm: Gehe auch du hin, und tue gleich also.
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Es geschah aber, da sie weiterzogen, und er in ein Dorf ging, nahm ihn ein Weib, mit Namen Martha, auf in ihr Haus.
Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 Und sie hatte eine Schwester, genannt Maria, die setz sich zu Jesu Füßen, und hörte sein Wort.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
40 Martha aber machte sich viel zu schaffen, ihm zu dienen. Und sie trat hinzu, und sprach: Herr, macht es dir nichts, daß meine Schwester mich allein gelassen hat, zu dienen? Sage ihr doch, daß sie mit mir angreife.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 Jesus aber antwortete, und sprach zu ihr: Martha, Martha! Du sorgst und mühst dich um vielerlei;
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 Eins aber ist not; Maria hat das gute Teil erwählt, das soll nicht von ihr genommen werden.
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
