1 Also war Salomo König über ganz Israel.
And King Salomon was King ouer all Israel.
2 Und dies waren seine Fürsten: Asarja, der Sohn Zadoks, des Priesters,
And these were his princes, Azariah the sonne of Zadok the Priest,
3 Elihoreph und Ahija, die Söhne Sisas, waren Schreiber. Josaphat, der Sohn Ahiluds, war Kanzler.
Elihoreph and Ahiah the sonnes of Shisha scribes, Iehoshaphat the sonne of Ahilud, the recorder,
4 Benaja der Sohn Jojadas, war Feldhauptmann. Zadok und Abjathar waren Priester.
And Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada was ouer the hoste, and Zadok and Abiathar Priests,
5 Asarja, der Sohn Nathans, war über die Amtleute. Sabud, der Sohn Nathans, des Priesters, war des Königs Freund.
And Azariah the sonne of Nathan was ouer the officers, and Zabud the sonne of Nathan Priest was the Kings friend,
6 Ahisar war Hofmeister: Adoniram, der Sohn Abdas, war Rentmeister.
And Ahishar was ouer the houshold: and Adoniram the sonne of Abda was ouer the tribute.
7 Und Salomo hatte zwölf Amtleute über ganz Israel, die den König und sein Haus versorgten. Einer hatte des Jahrs einen Monden lang zu versorgen.
And Salomon had twelue officers ouer all Israel, which prouided vitailes for the King and his housholde: eche man had a moneth in the yeere to prouide vitailes.
8 Und hießen also: Der Sohn Hurs auf dem Gebirge Ephraim;
And these are their names: the sonne of Hur in mount Ephraim:
9 der Sohn Dekers zu Makaz und zu Saalbim und zu Beth-Semes und zu Elon und Beth-Hanan;
The sonne of Dekar in Makaz, and in Shaalbim and Beth-shemesh, and Elon and Beth-hanan:
10 der Sohn Heseds zu Aruboth, und hatte dazu Socho und das ganze Land Hepher;
The sonne of Hesed in Aruboth, to whom perteined Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:
11 der Sohn Abinadabs: die ganze HERRSChaft zu Dor; und hatte Taphath, Salomos Tochter, zum Weibe;
The sonne of Abinadab in all the region of Dor, which had Taphath the daughter of Salomon to wife.
12 Baena, der Sohn Ahiluds, zu Thaenach und zu Megiddo und über ganz Beth-Sean, welches liegt neben Zarthana unter Jesreel, von Beth-Sean bis an den Plan Mehola, bis jenseit Jakmeam;
Baana the sonne of Ahilud in Taanach, and Megiddo, and in all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Izreel, from Beth-shean to Abelmeholah, eue til beyond ouer against Iokmeam:
13 der Sohn Gebers zu Ramoth in Gilead, und hatte die Flecken Jairs, des Sohns Manasses, in Gilead, und hatte die Gegend Argob, die in Basan liegt, sechzig großer Städte, vermauert und mit ehernen Riegeln;
The sonne of Geber in Ramoth Gilead, and his were the townes of Iair, the sonne of Manasseh, which are in Gilead, and vnder him was the region of Argob, which is in Bashan: threescore great cities with walles and barres of brasse.
14 Ahinadab, der Sohn Iddos, zu Mahanaim;
Ahinadab the sonne of Iddo had to Mahanaim:
15 Ahimaaz in Naphthali; und der nahm auch Salomos Tochter, Basmath, zum Weibe;
Ahimaaz in Naphtali, and he tooke Basmath the daughter of Salomon to wife:
16 Baena, der Sohn Husais, in Asser und zu Aloth;
Baanah the sonne of Hushai in Asher and in Aloth:
17 Josaphat, der Sohn Paruahs, in Isaschar;
Iehoshaphat the sonne of Paruah in Issachar.
18 Simei, der Sohn Elas, in Benjamin;
Shimei the sonne of Elah in Beniamin:
19 Geber, der Sohn Uris, im Lande Gilead, im Lande Sihons, des Königs der Amoriter und Ogs, des Königs in Basan; ein Amtmann war in demselben Lande.
Geber the sonne of Vri in the countrey of Gilead, the land of Sihon King of the Amorites, and of Og King of Bashan, and was officer alone in the land.
20 Juda aber und Israel, des war viel, wie der Sand am Meer; und aßen und tranken und waren fröhlich.
Iudah and Israel were many, as the sand of the sea in number, eating, drinking, and making merry.
21 Also war Salomo ein HERR über alle Königreiche, von dem Wasser an in der Philister Lande bis an die Grenze Ägyptens, die ihm Geschenke zubrachten und dieneten ihm sein Leben lang.
And Salomon reigned ouer all kingdomes, from the Riuer vnto the lande of the Philistims, and vnto the border of Egypt, and they brought presents, and serued Salomon all the dayes of his life.
22 Und Salomo mußte täglich zur Speisung haben dreißig Kor Semmelmehl und sechzig Kor ander Mehl,
And Salomons vitailes for one day were thirtie measures of fine floure, and threescore measures of meale:
23 zehn gemästete Rinder und zwanzig Weiderinder und hundert Schafe, ausgenommen Hirsche und Rehe und Gemsen und gemästet Vieh.
Ten fat oxen, and twentie oxen of the pastures, and an hundreth sheepe, beside hartes, and buckes, and bugles, and fat foule.
24 Denn er herrschete im ganzen Lande diesseit des Wassers, von Tiphsah bis gen Gasa, über alle Könige diesseit des Wassers, und hatte Frieden von allen seinen Untertanen umher,
For he ruled in all the region on the other side of the Riuer, from Tiphsah euen vnto Azzah, ouer all the Kings on the other side the Riuer: and he had peace round about him on euery side.
25 daß Juda und Israel sicher wohneten, ein jeglicher unter seinem Weinstock und unter seinem Feigenbaum, von Dan bis gen Berseba, solange Salomo lebte.
And Iudah and Israel dwelt without feare, euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his fig tree, from Dan, euen to Beer-sheba, all the dayes of Salomon.
26 Und Salomo hatte vierzigtausend Wagenpferde und zwölftausend Reisige.
And Salomon had fourtie thousande stalles of horses for his charets, and twelue thousand horsemen.
27 Und die Amtleute versorgten den König Salomo und alles, was zum Tisch des Königs gehörte, ein jeglicher in seinem Monden, und ließen nichts fehlen.
And these officers prouided vitaile for king Salomon, and for all that came to King Salomons table, euery man his moneth, and they suffred to lacke nothing.
28 Auch Gerste und Stroh für die Rosse und Läufer brachten sie an den Ort, da er war, ein jeglicher nach seinem Befehl.
Barley also and strawe for the horses and mules brought they vnto the place where the officers were, euery man according to his charge.
29 Und Gott gab Salomo sehr große Weisheit und Verstand und getrost Herz wie Sand, der am Ufer des Meeres liegt,
And God gaue Salomon wisdome and vnderstanding exceeding much, and a large heart, euen as the sand that is on the sea shore,
30 daß die Weisheit Salomos größer war denn aller Kinder gegen Morgen und aller Ägypter Weisheit.
And Salomons wisdome excelled the wisedome of all the children of the East and all the wisedome of Egypt.
31 Und war weiser denn alle Menschen, auch weiser denn die Dichter, Ethan, der Esrahiter, Heman, Chalkol und Darda; und war berühmt unter allen Heiden umher.
For he was wiser then any man: yea, then were Ethan the Ezrahite, the Heman, then Chalcol, then Darda the sonnes of Mahol: and he was famous throughout all nations round about.
32 Und er redete dreitausend Sprüche, und seiner Lieder waren tausend und fünf.
And Salomon spake three thousand prouerbs: and his songs were a thousand and fiue.
33 Und er redete von Bäumen, von der Zeder an zu Libanon bis an den Ysop, der aus der Wand wächst. Auch redete er von Vieh, von Vögeln, von Gewürm, von Fischen.
And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon, euen vnto the hyssope that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of foules, and of creeping thinges, and of fishes.
34 Und es kamen aus allen Völkern, zu hören die Weisheit Salomos, von allen Königen auf Erden, die von seiner Weisheit gehöret hatten.
And there came of all people to heare the wisedome of Salomon, from all Kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisedome.
