Jesaja 43
1 Und nun, so spricht Jehova, der dich geschaffen, Jakob, und der dich gebildet hat, Israel: Fürchte dich nicht, denn ich habe dich erlöst; ich habe dich bei deinem Namen gerufen, du bist mein.
But nowe thus sayeth the Lord, that created thee, O Iaakob: and hee that formed thee, O Israel, Feare not: for I haue redeemed thee: I haue called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
2 Wenn du durchs Wasser gehst, ich bin bei dir, und durch Ströme, sie werden dich nicht überfluten; wenn du durchs Feuer gehst, wirst du nicht versengt werden, und die Flamme wird dich nicht verbrennen.
When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, and through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.
3 Denn ich bin Jehova, dein Gott, ich, der Heilige Israels, dein Heiland; ich gebe als dein Lösegeld Ägypten hin, Äthiopien und Seba an deiner Statt.
For I am the Lord thy God, the holy one of Israel, thy Sauiour: I gaue Egypt for thy ransome, Ethiopia, and Seba for thee.
4 Weil du teuer, wertvoll bist in meinen Augen, und ich dich lieb habe, so werde ich Menschen hingeben an deiner Statt und Völkerschaften anstatt deines Lebens.
Because thou wast precious in my sight, and thou wast honourable, and I loued thee, therefore will I giue man for thee, and people for thy sake.
5 Fürchte dich nicht, denn ich bin mit dir; vom Aufgang her werde ich deinen Samen bringen, und vom Niedergang her werde ich dich sammeln.
Feare not, for I am with thee: I will bring thy seede from the East, and gather thee from the West.
6 Ich werde zum Norden sagen: Gib heraus! Und zum Süden: Halte nicht zurück, bringe meine Söhne von fernher und meine Töchter vom Ende der Erde,
I will say to the North, Giue: and to the South, Keepe not backe: bring my sonnes from farre, and my daughters from the ends of the earth.
7 einen jeden, der mit meinem Namen genannt ist, und den ich zu meiner Ehre geschaffen, den ich gebildet, ja, gemacht habe!
Euery one shall be called by my Name: for I created him for my glorie, formed him and made him.
8 Führe heraus das blinde Volk, das doch Augen hat, und die Tauben, die doch Ohren haben!
I will bring foorth the blinde people, and they shall haue eyes, and the deafe, and they shall haue eares.
9 Alle Nationen mögen sich miteinander versammeln, und die Völkerschaften zusammenkommen! Wer unter ihnen kann solches verkünden? So mögen sie uns Früheres hören lassen! Mögen sie ihre Zeugen stellen und gerechtfertigt werden, daß man es höre und sage: Es ist wahr!
Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this and shewe vs former things? let them bring foorth their witnesses, that they may be iustified: but let them heare, and say, It is truth.
10 Ihr seid meine Zeugen, spricht Jehova, und mein Knecht, den ich erwählt habe: damit ihr erkennet und mir glaubet und einsehet, daß ich derselbe bin. Vor mir ward kein Gott gebildet, und nach mir wird keiner sein.
You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my seruant, whom I haue chosen: therefore yee shall knowe and beleeue me and yee shall vnderstand that I am: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 Ich, ich bin Jehova, und außer mir ist kein Heiland.
I, euen I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Sauiour.
12 Ich habe verkündigt und gerettet und vernehmen lassen, und kein fremder Gott war unter euch; und ihr seid meine Zeugen, spricht Jehova, und ich bin Gott.
I haue declared, and I haue saued, and I haue shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore you are my witnesses, sayeth the Lord, that I am God.
13 Ja, von jeher bin ich derselbe; und da ist niemand, der aus meiner Hand errette. Ich wirke, und wer kann es abwenden?
Yea, before the day was, I am, and there is none that can deliuer out of mine hand: I will doe it, and who shall let it?
14 So spricht Jehova, euer Erlöser, der Heilige Israels: Um euretwillen habe ich nach Babel gesandt; und ich werde sie alle als Flüchtlinge hinabtreiben, und auch die Chaldäer, auf den Schiffen ihres Jubels.
Thus sayeth the Lord your redeemer, the holy one of Israel, For your sake I haue sent to Babel, and brought it downe: they are all fugitiues, and the Chaldeans crie in the shippes.
15 Ich, Jehova, bin euer Heiliger, ich, der Schöpfer Israels, euer König. -
I am the Lord your holy one, the creator of Israel, your King.
16 So spricht Jehova, der einen Weg gibt im Meere, und einen Pfad in mächtigen Wassern;
Thus sayeth the Lord which maketh a way in the Sea, and a path in the mighty waters.
17 der ausziehen läßt Wagen und Roß, Heer und Held, zusammen liegen sie da, stehen nicht wieder auf; sie sind erloschen, verglommen wie ein Docht: -
When hee bringeth out the charet and horse, the armie and the power lie together, and shall not rise: they are extinct, and quenched as towe.
18 Gedenket nicht des Früheren, und über die Dinge der Vorzeit sinnet nicht nach!
Remember yee not the former things, neither regard the things of olde.
19 Siehe, ich wirke Neues; jetzt sproßt es auf; werdet ihr es nicht erfahren? Ja, ich mache durch die Wüste einen Weg, Ströme durch die Einöde.
Behold, I do a new thing: now shall it come foorth: shall you not knowe it? I wil euen make a way in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse.
20 Das Getier des Feldes wird mich preisen, Schakale und Strauße; denn ich werde Wasser geben in der Wüste, Ströme in der Einöde, um mein Volk zu tränken, mein auserwähltes.
The wilde beastes shall honour mee, the dragons and the ostriches, because I gaue water in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse to giue drinke to my people, euen to mine elect.
21 Dieses Volk, das ich mir gebildet habe, sie sollen meinen Ruhm erzählen. -
This people haue I formed for my selfe: they shall shewe foorth my praise.
22 Doch nicht mich hast du angerufen, Jakob, daß du dich um mich gemüht hättest, Israel!
And thou hast not called vpon mee, O Iaakob, but thou hast wearied me, O Israel.
23 Du hast mir die Schafe deiner Brandopfer nicht gebracht, und mit deinen Schlachtopfern hast du mich nicht geehrt; ich habe dir nicht mit Speisopfern zu schaffen gemacht, noch mit Weihrauch dich ermüdet;
Thou hast not brought me the sheepe of thy burnt offrings, neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I haue not caused thee to serue with an offring, nor wearied thee with incense.
24 du hast mir nicht um Geld Würzrohr gekauft, noch mit dem Fette deiner Schlachtopfer mich gelabt. Aber du hast mir zu schaffen gemacht mit deinen Sünden, du hast mich ermüdet mit deinen Missetaten.
Thou boughtest mee no sweete sauour with money, neither hast thou made mee drunke with the fatte of thy sacrifices, but thou hast made mee to serue with thy sinnes, and wearied mee with thine iniquities.
25 Ich, ich bin es, der deine Übertretungen tilgt um meinetwillen; und deiner Sünden will ich nicht mehr gedenken. -
I, euen I am he that putteth away thine iniquities for mine owne sake, and will not remember thy sinnes.
26 Rufe mir ins Gedächtnis, wir wollen rechten miteinander; erzähle doch, damit du gerechtfertigt werdest!
Put me in remembrance: let vs be iudged together: count thou that thou maist be iustified.
27 Dein erster Vater hat gesündigt, und deine Mittler sind von mir abgefallen.
Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers haue transgressed against me.
28 Und ich habe die Fürsten des Heiligtums entweiht, und Jakob dem Banne und Israel den Schmähungen hingegeben.
Therefore I haue prophaned the rulers of the Sanctuarie, and haue made Iaakob a curse, and Israel a reproche.
