Psaumes 46
1 Pour la fin, aux fils de Coré, pour les secrets, psaume. Dieu est notre refuge et notre force, notre aide dans les tribulations qui nous ont assaillis très violemment.
To the ouercomere, the song of the sones `of Chore, `for yongthis. Oure God, thou art refuyt, and vertu; helpere in tribulacions, that han founde vs greetly.
2 C’est pour cela que nous ne craindrons pas, tandis que la terre sera bouleversée, et que des montagnes seront transportées au cœur des mers,
Therfor we schulen not drede, while the erthe schal be troblid; and the hillis schulen be borun ouer in to the herte of the see.
3 Leurs flots ont mugi et ont été agités: les montagnes ont été ébranlées par la puissance de Dieu.
The watris of hem sowneden, and weren troblid; hillis weren troblid togidere in the strengthe of hym.
4 Le cours d’un fleuve abondant réjouit la cité de Dieu; le Très-Haut y a sanctifié son tabernacle.
The feersnesse of flood makith glad the citee of God; the hiyeste God hath halewid his tabernacle.
5 Dieu est au milieu de cette cité, elle ne sera pas ébranlée: Dieu la protégera dès le matin, au lever de l’aurore.
God in the myddis therof schal not be moued; God schal helpe it eerli in the grey morewtid.
6 Des nations ont été troublées et des royaumes ont chancelé: il a fait entendre sa voix, et la terre a été ébranlée.
Hethene men weren disturblid togidere, and rewmes weren bowid doun; God yaf his vois, the erthe was moued.
7 Le Seigneur des armées est avec nous: le Dieu de Jacob est notre soutien.
The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
8 Venez, et voyez les œuvres du Seigneur, vrais prodiges qu’il a opérés sur la terre,
Come ye, and se the werkis of the Lord; whiche wondris he hath set on the erthe.
9 En faisant cesser les guerres jusqu’à l’extrémité de la terre. Il brisera l’arc, mettra les armes en pièces; et les boucliers, il les brûlera dans le feu.
He doynge awei batels til to the ende of the lond; schal al to-brese bouwe, and schal breke togidere armuris, and schal brenne scheldis bi fier.
10 Tenez-vous en repos, et voyez que c’est moi qui suis Dieu; je serai exalté parmi les nations; et je serai exalté par toute la terre.
Yyue ye tent, and se ye, that Y am God; Y schal be enhaunsid among hethene men; and Y schal be enhaunsid in erthe.
11 Le Seigneur des armées est avec nous: notre soutien est le Dieu de Jacob.
The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
