1 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, disant:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 Parle aux enfants d’Israël, et tu leur diras: Un homme ou une femme, lorsqu’ils auront fait un vœu pour se sanctifier, et qu’ils auront voulu se consacrer au Seigneur,
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When a man or woman does extraordinarily by vowing a vow of a Nazarite, to be separate to YHWH,
3 S’abstiendront de vin et de tout ce qui peut enivrer. Ils ne boiront point de vinaigre, qui est fait de vin, ni de quelque autre breuvage enivrant que ce soit, ni de rien de ce qui est exprimé du raisin; ils ne mangeront point de raisins frais, ni secs
he keeps separate from wine and strong drink; he does not drink vinegar of wine and vinegar of strong drink, and he does not drink any juice of grapes, and he does not eat moist or dry grapes;
4 Durant tous les jours qu’ils seront consacrés par vœu au Seigneur; ils ne mangeront rien de ce qui peut venir de la vigne depuis le raisin sec jusqu’au pépin.
all [the] days of his separation he does not eat of anything which is made of the wine-vine, from kernels even to husk.
5 Durant tout le temps de sa séparation le rasoir ne passera point sur sa tête, jusqu’à ce que soit accompli le jour jusqu’auquel il est consacré au Seigneur. Il sera saint, laissant croître la chevelure de sa tête.
All [the] days of the vow of his separation a razor does not pass over his head; he is holy until the fullness of the days [in] which he separates himself to YHWH; the upper part of the hair of his head has grown up.
6 Durant tout le temps de sa consécration, il n’entrera point auprès d’un mort,
All [the] days of his keeping separate to YHWH, he does not go near a dead person;
7 Et il ne se souillera même point aux funérailles de son père, de sa mère, de son frère et de sa sœur, parce que la consécration de son Dieu est sur sa tête.
for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister—he does not become unclean for them at their death, for the separation of his God [is] on his head;
8 Durant tous les jours de sa séparation, il sera consacré au Seigneur.
all [the] days of his separation he [is] holy to YHWH.
9 Mais s’il meurt subitement quelqu’un devant lui, la consécration de sa tête sera souillée, il la rasera aussitôt au jour même de sa purification, et au septième.
And when the dead dies beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he has defiled the head of his separation, then he has shaved his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shaves it,
10 Et au huitième jour il offrira deux tourterelles, ou deux petits de colombe au prêtre à l’entrée de l’alliance de témoignage.
and on the eighth day he brings in two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
11 Et le prêtre en sacrifiera un pour le péché et l’autre en holocauste, et il priera pour lui, parce qu’il a péché à cause de ce mort; et il sanctifiera sa tête en ce jour-là;
and the priest has prepared one for a sin-offering and one for a burnt-offering, and has made atonement for him because of that which he has sinned by the body, and he has hallowed his head on that day;
12 Et il consacrera au Seigneur les jours de sa séparation, offrant un agneau d’un an pour le péché; de telle sorte cependant que les premiers jours deviennent inutiles, parce que sa consécration a été souillée.
and he has separated to YHWH the days of his separation, and he has brought in a lamb, a son of a year, for a guilt-offering, and the former days are fallen, for his separation has been defiled.
13 Voici la loi de la consécration: Lorsque les jours qu’il avait fixés par son vœu seront accomplis, le prêtre l’amènera à la porte du tabernacle de l’alliance,
And this [is] the law of the Nazarite: in the day of the fullness of the days of his separation, he is brought to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
14 Et il offrira son oblation au Seigneur: un agneau d’un an sans tache en holocauste, une brebis d’un an, sans tache, pour le péché, un bélier sans tache, hostie pacifique;
and he has brought his offering near to YHWH—one male lamb, a son of a year, a perfect one, for a burnt-offering, and one female lamb, a daughter of a year, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and one ram, a perfect one, for peace-offerings,
15 Une corbeille de pains azymes, qui soient arrosés d’huile, des beignets sans levain, oints d’huile, et les libations de chacune de ces choses,
and a basket of unleavened things of flour, cakes mixed with oil, and thin cakes of unleavened things anointed with oil, and their present, and their drink-offerings.
16 Que le prêtre offrira devant le Seigneur, et qu’il sacrifiera tant pour le péché que pour l’holocauste.
And the priest has brought [them] near before YHWH, and has made his sin-offering and his burnt-offering;
17 Mais le bélier, il l’immolera comme hostie pacifique au Seigneur, offrant en même temps la corbeille d’azymes et les libations qui sont dues par l’usage.
and he makes the ram [as] a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, besides the basket of unleavened things; and the priest has made its present and its drink-offering.
18 Alors la chevelure du nazaréen consacrée à Dieu sera rasée devant la porte du tabernacle d’alliance, et le prêtre prendra ses cheveux et les mettra sur le feu qui se trouve au-dessous du sacrifice des pacifiques.
And the Nazarite has shaved (at the opening of the Tent of Meeting) the head of his separation, and has taken the hair of the head of his separation, and has put [it] on the fire which [is] under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings.
19 Il prendra aussi l’épaule cuite du bélier, une miche sans levain de la corbeille, et un beignet azyme, et il les remettra aux mains du nazaréen, après que sa tête aura été rasée.
And the priest has taken the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one thin unleavened cake, and has put [them] on the palms of the Nazarite after his shaving [the hair of] his separation;
20 Et les ayant reçus une seconde fois de lui, il les élèvera en la présence du Seigneur; ainsi sanctifiés ils appartiendront au prêtre, comme la poitrine qui a dû être séparée, et la cuisse; après cela, le nazaréen peut boire du vin.
and the priest has waved them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH; it [is] holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave-offering, and besides the leg of the raised-offering; and afterward the Nazarite drinks wine.
21 Telle est la loi du nazaréen, lorsqu’il a voué son oblation au Seigneur au temps de sa consécration, outre ce que sa main trouvera. Selon ce qu’il aura voué dans son esprit, ainsi fera-t-il pour la perfection de sa sanctification.
This [is] the law of the Nazarite who vows his offering to YHWH for his separation, apart from that which his hand attains; according to his vow which he vows so he does by the law of his separation.”
22 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, disant:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
23 Dis à Aaron et à ses fils: C’est ainsi que vous bénirez les enfants d’Israël, et vous leur direz:
“Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, Thus you bless the sons of Israel, saying to them:
24 Que le Seigneur te bénisse et qu’il te garde.
YHWH bless you and keep you;
25 Que le Seigneur te montre sa face, et qu’il ait pitié de toi.
YHWH cause His face to shine on you, And favor you;
26 Que le Seigneur tourne son visage vers toi, et te donne la paix.
YHWH lift up His countenance on you, And appoint for you—peace.
27 Ils invoqueront ainsi mon nom sur les enfants d’Israël, et moi, je les bénirai.
And they have put My Name on the sons of Israel, and I bless them.”
