Isaïe 11
1 Et il sortira un rejeton de la racine de Jessé, et une fleur s’élèvera de sa racine,
A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse [My husband], and a netzer ·branch· out of his roots will bear fruit.
2 Et l’esprit du Seigneur reposera sur lui; l’esprit de sagesse et d’intelligence, l’esprit de conseil et de force, l’esprit de science et de piété.
Ruach Yahweh [Spirit of He sustains breathing] will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Adonai.
3 L’esprit de crainte du Seigneur le remplira. Il ne jugera pas d’après ce qu’auront vu les yeux, et il ne condamnera pas d’après ce qu’auront ouï les oreilles.
His delight will be in the fear of Adonai. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
4 Mais il jugera les pauvres dans la justice, et il se prononcera avec équité pour les hommes paisibles de la terre; et il frappera la terre de la verge de sa bouche, et du souffle de ses lèvres il tuera l’impie.
but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.
5 Et la justice sera la ceinture de ses reins, et la fidélité le ceinturon de ses flancs
Justice will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.
6 Le loup habitera avec l’agneau, et le léopard se couchera près du chevreau; le jeune taureau, et le Mon, et la brebis demeureront ensemble, et un petit enfant les conduira.
The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.
7 Le veau et l’ours iront aux mêmes pâturages; leurs petits se reposeront ensemble; le lion comme le bœuf mangera la paille.
The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 Et l’enfant à la mamelle se jouera sur le trou de l’aspic; et celui qui viendra d’être sevré portera sa main dans la caverne du basilic.
The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
9 Ils ne nuiront pas, et ils ne tueront pas sur toute ma montagne sainte; parce que la terre est remplie de la connaissance du Seigneur, comme les eaux qui couvrent la mer.
They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Adonai, as the waters cover the sea.
10 En ce jour-là viendra la racine de Jessé qui est comme l’étendard des peuples; c’est à lui que les nations adresseront leurs prières, et son sépulcre sera glorieux.
It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse [My husband], who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be kavod ·weighty glorious·.
11 Et il arrivera en ce jour-là que le Seigneur étendra une seconde fois sa main pour posséder le reste de son peuple, qui aura échappé aux Assyriens, et à l’Egypte, et à Phétros, et à l’Ethiopie, et à Elam et à Sennaar, et à Emath, et aux îles de la mer.
It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria [Level plain], from Egypt [Abode of slavery], from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 Et il élèvera son étendard parmi les nations, il réunira les fugitifs d’Israël, et les dispersés de Juda, il les rassemblera des quatre coins de la terre.
He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel [God prevails], and gather together the dispersed of Judah [Praised] from the four corners of the earth.
13 Et la jalousie d’Ephraïm sera détruite, et les ennemis de Juda périront; Ephraïm n’enviera pas Juda, et Juda ne combattra pas contre Ephraïm.
The envy also of Ephraim [Fruit] will depart, and those who persecute Judah [Praised] will be cut off. Ephraim [Fruit] won’t envy Judah [Praised], and Judah [Praised] won’t persecute Ephraim [Fruit].
14 Et ils voleront sur les épaules des Philistins par la mer; ils pilleront ensemble les fils de l’Orient. L’Idumée et Moab seront la première capture de leur main, et les fils d’Ammon leur obéiront.
They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines [To roll in dust (As an insult)] on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom [Red] and Moab [From father], and the children of Ammon [Tribal people] will obey them.
15 Et le Seigneur mettra à sec la langue de la mer d’Égypte, et il lèvera sa main sur le fleuve, il l’agitera par la force de son souffle, et il le frappera dans ses sept ruisseaux, en sorte qu’on le passera tout chaussé.
Adonai will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt [Abode of slavery]; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.
16 Et il y aura une voie pour le reste de mon peuple qui aura échappé aux Assyriens, comme il y en eut une pour Israël, au jour auquel il monta de la terre d’Egypte.
There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria [Level plain], like there was for Israel [God prevails] in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
