2 Corinthiens 6
1 Or, comme coopérateurs, nous vous exhortons à ne pas recevoir en vain la grâce de Dieu;
But we helpynge monesten, that ye resseyuen not the grace of God in veyn.
2 Car il dit: En un temps favorable je t’ai exaucé, et en un jour de salut je t’ai secouru. Voici maintenant un temps favorable, voici maintenant un jour de salut.
For he seith, In tyme wel plesinge Y haue herd thee, and in the dai of heelthe Y haue helpid thee. Lo! now a tyme acceptable, lo! now a dai of heelthe.
3 Ne donnant à personne aucun scandale, afin que notre ministère ne soit pas décrié,
Yyue we to no man ony offencioun, that oure seruyce be not repreued;
4 Montrons-nous, au contraire, en toutes choses, comme des ministres de Dieu, par une grande patience dans les tribulations, dans les nécessités, dans les angoisses,
but in alle thingis yyue we vs silf as the mynystris of God, in myche pacience, in tribulaciouns,
5 Sous les coups, dans les prisons, dans les séditions, dans les travaux, dans les veilles, dans les jeûnes;
in nedis, in angwischis, in betyngis, in prisouns, in dissensiouns with ynne, in trauels, in wakyngis, in fastyngis,
6 Par la pureté, par la science, par la longanimité, par la mansuétude, par l’Esprit-Saint, par une charité sincère;
in chastite, in kunnyng, in long abiding, in swetnesse, in the Hooli Goost,
7 Par la parole de la vérité, par la force de Dieu, par les armes de la justice, à droite et à gauche;
in charite not feined, in the word of treuthe, in the vertu of God; bi armeris of riytwisnesse on the riythalf and on the lefthalf;
8 Dans la gloire et l’ignominie, dans la mauvaise et la bonne réputation, comme séducteurs et cependant sincères; comme inconnus, et toutefois très connus;
bi glorie and vnnoblei; bi yuel fame and good fame; as disseyueris, and trewe men; as thei that ben vnknowun, and knowun;
9 Comme mourants, et voici que nous vivons; comme châtiés, mais non mis à mort;
as men diynge, and lo! we lyuen; as chastisid, and not maad deed;
10 Comme tristes, mais toujours dans la joie; comme pauvres, mais enrichissant beaucoup d’autres; comme n’ayant rien, et possédant tout.
as sorewful, euere more ioiynge; as hauynge nede, but makynge many men riche; as no thing hauynge, and weldynge alle thingis.
11 Pour vous, ô Corinthiens, noire bouche est ouverte, noire cœur s’est dilaté.
A! ye Corynthies, oure mouth is open to you, oure herte is alargid;
12 Nous ne nous resserrons point pour vous, mais vous, vous resserrez vos entrailles.
ye ben not angwischid in vs, but ye ben anguischid in youre inwardnessis.
13 Rendant donc selon que vous recevez (je vous parle comme à mes enfants), dilatez-vous aussi.
And Y seie as to sones, ye that han the same reward, be ye alargid.
14 Ne traînez point le même joug que les infidèles. Car quoi de commun entre la justice et l’iniquité? ou quelle alliance entre la lumière et les ténèbres?
Nyle ye bere the yok with vnfeithful men. For what parting of riytwisnes with wickidnesse? or what felouschipe of liyt to derknessis?
15 Quel accord entre le Christ et Bélial? ou quel commerce entre le fidèle et l’infidèle?
and what acording of Crist to Belial? or what part of a feithful with the vnfeithful?
16 Quel rapport entre le temple de Dieu et les idoles? Car vous êtes le temple du Dieu vivant, comme Dieu le dit: J’habiterai en eux, et je marcherai au milieu d’eux, et je serai leur Dieu, et ils seront mon peuple,
and what consent to the temple of God with mawmetis? And ye ben the temple of the lyuynge God, as the Lord seith, For Y schal dwelle in hem, and Y schal walke among hem; and Y schal be God of hem, and thei schulen be a puple to me.
17 C’est pourquoi sortez d’au milieu d’eux, et séparez-vous, dit le Seigneur, et ne touchez point à ce qui est impur;
For which thing go ye out of the myddil of hem, and be ye departid, seith the Lord, and touche ye not vnclene thing;
18 Et je vous recevrai, et je serai votre père, et vous serez mes fils et mes filles, dit le Seigneur tout-puissant.
and Y schal resseyue you, and schal be to you in to a fadir, and ye schulen be to me in to sones and douytris, seith the Lord almyyti.
