Jérémie 28
1 Et cette même année, au commencement du règne de Sédécias, roi de Juda, la quatrième année, le cinquième mois, Ananias, fils de Hazzur, prophète, de Gabaon, me dit dans la maison de l'Éternel, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple, ces paroles:
And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, [that] Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Jehovah, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2 Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël: Je brise le joug du roi de Babel.
Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 Encore deux années, et je ramène en ce lieu tous les meubles de la maison de l'Éternel, que Nébucadnézar, roi de Babel, a enlevés de ce lieu, et qu'il a transportés à Babel.
Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon;
4 Et Jéchonias, fils de Jéhojakim, roi de Juda, et tous les captifs de Juda, qui sont allés à Babel, je les ramènerai en ce lieu, dit l'Éternel, car je briserai le joug du roi de Babel.
and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah that went to Babylon, saith Jehovah: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5 Alors Jérémie, le prophète, parla à Ananias, le prophète, en présence des sacrificateurs et en présence de tout le peuple qui se tenait dans la maison de l'Éternel;
And the prophet Jeremiah spoke unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah.
6 et Jérémie, le prophète, dit: Ainsi soit-il! ainsi fasse l'Éternel! que l'Éternel donne effet aux paroles que tu as prophétisées, en ramenant les meubles de la maison de l'Éternel et tous les captifs de Babel en ce lieu!
And the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen, may Jehovah do so! may Jehovah perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again from Babylon, into this place, the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all them of the captivity!
7 Seulement écoute cette parole que je prononce à tes oreilles, et aux oreilles de tout le peuple!
Nevertheless, hear, I pray thee, this word which I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people:
8 Les prophètes qui parurent avant moi et avant toi dès les anciens temps, ont dans leurs prophéties menacé beaucoup de pays, et de grands royaumes, de la guerre, et du désastre et de la peste.
The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old, prophesied also concerning many countries and concerning great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
9 Le prophète qui prophétise le salut, est, quand la parole de ce prophète se réalise, reconnu comme le prophète que l'Éternel envoie véritablement.
The prophet that prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, shall be known as the prophet whom Jehovah hath really sent.
10 Alors Ananias, le prophète, ôta le joug du col de Jérémie, le prophète, et le brisa.
And the prophet Hananiah took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it.
11 Et Ananias parla en présence de tout le peuple en disant: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: De même je briserai le joug de Nébucadnézar, roi de Babel, dans deux ans, l'ôtant du col de tous les peuples. Et le prophète Jérémie alla son chemin.
And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: So will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 Et la parole de l'Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, après que Ananias, le prophète, eut brisé le joug qu'il avait ôté du col de Jérémie, le prophète, en ces mots:
And the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, after that the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13 Va, et parle à Ananias, et lui dis: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Tu as brisé un joug de bois, et tu l'as remplacé par un joug de fer.
Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou hast broken the yokes of wood, and thou hast made in their place yokes of iron.
14 Car ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, Dieu d'Israël: Je mets un joug de fer sur le col de tous ces peuples, pour qu'ils soient asservis à Nébucadnézar, roi de Babel; et ils lui seront asservis; et les bêtes des champs, je les lui donne aussi.
For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
15 Et Jérémie, le prophète, dit à Ananias, le prophète: Écoute, Ananias! l'Éternel ne t'a point envoyé, et tu as fait que ce peuple se fie au mensonge;
And the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah, Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah hath not sent thee; and thou makest this people to trust in falsehood.
16 c'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je t'ôterai de la terre; cette année tu mourras; car tu as prêché la révolte contre l'Éternel.
Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, for thou hast spoken revolt against Jehovah.
17 Et Ananias, le prophète, mourut cette année-là, dans le septième mois.
And the prophet Hananiah died in the same year in the seventh month.
